  1. Past hour
  2. Unless Josh gets hurt, I don't think we'll be worse than last season. Depending on the performance of the FAs and draft picks, and there are question marks around all of them, we might be better. I'm hoping Brady continues to improve as an OC, particularly in scheming a downfield passing attack. In other words, I have no special intuition or expectation for this season, but - as always - I hope for the miracle.
  3. I am hoping so... but I am interested in SVP to see if he gets more time this year...
  4. It would not surprise me at all if one of the "bubble" players end up on the IR with a hamstring (or something similar) to start the season.
  5. The only N that counts is Super Bowl wins, as Josh Allen is always saying, and that N=0. Great that Hollins and Shakir exceeded expectations last year, not so great that Coleman and Kincaid did not. I'm sure this year, too, some players will step up on offense and some will not. I'm hopeful--I'm always hopeful--that this year is the year they go all the way. Could happen. But I think Beane's improvements on defense won't come to full fruition until next year, and I don't think his tweaks on offense amount to more than treading water. Note: This is about when the ad hominen attacks usually begin. Let's try to keep it civil, ok?
  6. 'Wry wit'...try saying that three times quickly. 🤔 * And, we're on to the veterinarians. 😁 All I can picture is Squiggy (from 'Laverne and Shirley') saying "unclean...unclean..."
  7. I don't agree with the prior Pope's stance on immigration. I think it is nice to want to help migrants but they went about it the wrong way. By opening the border to EVERYONE they allowed for human trafficking and drugs which is EVIL
  8. BYOB - Bring your own Bugspray LOL
  9. Greatest, best, most beautiful NFL draft ever. 🤨 Instead of just one horse's ass hogging the event, there's likely to be two.
  10. What is your counter to the Bills had a very successful offense? They scored points, a lot of them and did not turn it over. Even more than many of those Brady teams. When Brady had his best weapons they won nothing with Welker and Moss they did not win. What did they have in 2001-2004?
  11. I couldn't agree more that networking in any industry is indeed important BUT... it's still funny to me that a 20-something athlete would go down to the bar to make a good impression... seeing as alcohol isn't a performance enhancing drug and all the other possible negative connotations...
  12. Because you're sweet and lovely, girl, I love you Because you're sweet and lovely, girl, it's true I love you more than ever, girl, I do I want you in the morning, girl, I love you I want you at the moment I feel blue I'm living every moment, girl, for you I've loved you from the moment, I saw you You looked at me that's all you had to do I feel it now, I hope you feel it too Because you're sweet and lovely, girl, I love you Because you're sweet and lovely, girl, it's true I love you more than ever, girl, I do I really love you
  13. First step will be looking for a new coach if Sean doesn't get to the Super Bowl
  14. Starlight Motel on the Boulevard in Wheatfield can probably squeeze in 4 guests per room if it comes down to it…
  15. Beane's argument isn't that simple. He's also mentioned that we scored 30 points in 8 consecutive games and were the highest scoring team in the NFL last season if you include the playoffs. The offense was productive even without an elite receiver so maybe that wasn't our biggest need. And he's pointed out, reasonably enough, that you can have All Pros everywhere. The cap doesn't allow that. I believe that if you have a unicorn QB, you ought to prioritize two things: the OL and your stable of WRs. I don't think Beane's done that. It seems we either have a good OL, or a good group of WRs, but never both at the same time. Still, there are rational arguments you can make for his approach.
  16. The best way to complement your MVP QB and make his job easier is to field a Defense that can get more stops on 3rd down and get off the field. Even getting Josh the best WRs in the game would still put it on him to have to make plays and out-score the opponent who is scoring on every possession.
  17. If Green Bay can do it Buffalo certainly can. And with the new stadium I bet we have an inside track
  18. I know they didn't win the division until they beat the 49ers, but I thought the win vs the Rams clinched at least a WC. It was 45 years so I could be wrong.
  19. In terms of traits, it looks like Elgersma beats out Buechele. Buechele has more familiarity with Buffalo's system and some preseason experience, but Elger would not be expected to step in and play in the regular season for a few years at least, so that's not really an issue. If Trubisky or White had to step in and start more than a few games this season, it would sink the team's playoff chances to say nothing of either Buechele or Elgersma.
  20. wtf hahaha I guess the stick wasn’t working so here’s the carrot
  21. Here it is !
  22. It's all fun and games until Bernie Sanders is announcing the Patriots pick.
