  1. Past hour
  2. Imagine being the backup QBs on that squad or PS QBs on other teams. “Jones got hurt, it might be my time to shine!” Nah, we’re going to bring back the guy who retired 5 years ago who doesn’t know how much he currently weighs.
  3. Agree, but I could equally see a scenario where Gabe doesn't do anything the rest of the year and the Bills don't particularly want him back. (Except on a low/no guarantee "chance to compete for a roster spot" deal.)
  4. Shavers has 188 yards this year. Projecting him to be a consistent top-3 guy next year who can help us win it all is a stretch. If Palmer is just a 4th guy on this roster, at $13 million per year, that's another fail for Beane. I say draft a size-speed outside guy early, Shakir and Palmer as our top-3. Or trade for a bona fide #1, though I'm not sure the cap space is there.
  5. wonder what’ll be left at 1 PM. Might snag an AFC Championship Game pair if I can.
  6. Don't sleep on the Dolphins beating the Pats. They actually still have an outside shot of making the playoffs themselves so they're not gonna just roll over. They've also won 4 straight themselves.
  7. trump's minions tried this attack in the confirmation hearings. It went down like a lead ballon. But Epstein, Epstein still holds plenty of interest. Now where are those files?
  8. The Bills were number one in defense or damn close a bunch of years before Allen got paid. Depth player route or a few elite players and you kinda need to collude into getting a randy moss for a 4th was it? And then spy on teams and who knows whatever else... But you really can't have both depth and several elite players, until you're in the Stafford era of an elite QBs timeline and you trade all your picks and go all in on one last window
  9. They could play their preseason games at the old highmark since they're not tearing it down right away.
  10. Bills fans SHOULD be confident in their team. The Bills have played a lot better the one issue, IMO, that still is happening that could decide the game against the Bills is the turnovers. They had 2 last week that almost cost them the game against Cincy. i expect a hard fought game with both teams leaving everything out there on the field.. I’d say a 27-24 game .
  11. Wow. Did not realize that. Thanks. If the division is still up for grabs, then I guess we gotta go for it.
  12. Depends on who the Broncos lose to. Broncos final 4 games are against GB, JAX, KC, and LAC. 1st tiebreaker is conference record. Bills are 6-3 and Broncos are 7-2 currently. If Bills win out and Broncos lose 2 conference games we'd get the 1 seed (we'd have 9-3 conference record vs Broncos 8-4). If Broncos lose 2 games, but one of them is GB the next tie breaker is record in common games. If we win our next 2 games, NE loses next 2, and DEN wins next 2 we would still be in play for the 1 seed headed into week 17 (we'd have to win final 2 and DEN lose final 2). HOWEVER, Denver plays on Thursday so we'd know headed into the Philly game if we were eliminated from contention on the 1 seed. I don't think there's any possible scenario where the Philly game won't impact seeding. It might not matter for 1 seed or AFCE title, but it would matter for 2 v 3 seed or 5/6/7 if we're in the WC race.
  13. You do not appear to have learned anything.
  14. No. At the same record, we win the division on tiebreakers if we win our AFC matchups and they lose to the Jets or Dolphins.
  15. They should play all preseason games on the road. The home opener will be so much more electric!
  16. Why do MAGA's hate kids? Nice work nut job! https://archive.ph/sUaaZ
  17. With the Pats owning the tie-breaker, we need to finish one game up on them for the division and possibly conference #1. Correct? That means we need to beat the Pats, Philly and the Jets and if the Pats win just one of their next two games to the Jets and Miami. Or, we need to win one of our next two games and the Pats lose both of theirs. Not gonna happen. If battling for lower seeding matters enough, so be it. But we're not winning the division. Personally, I would want Kincaid, Bosa and other top vets, and yes, even Allen, on the Bills healthy versus trying to better our seeding. Maybe that means playing Allen for Philly but resting against the Jets. Health over seeding for me when the bye is not in play.
  18. All too predicably the useful idiots are deflecting with an attack the messenger strategy in this thread. Therefore more Mike Davis on KBJ. Cope and seethe.
  19. With the way the AFC currently stands, it wouldn’t surprise me if a couple WC teams make it to the AFC Championship, in which case the 5 seed would host. Aside from playing the AFCN winner in the WC Round, one more reason to at least get the 5 seed.
  20. I think it's misleading to say that Buscaglia is saying the WR room is improved. Just that they've evolved. Shavers is playing the Hollins role as a blocker but he's not "the Hollins from 2024". He has had little impact at all in the passing game compared to the big plays and TD's Hollins made. Gabe has been anemic in the passing game. How they use him has definitely evolved and I am not sure that's a good thing because I don't want to see that ham-handed SOB running slants to turnover town. Palmer hasn't even been available. Coleman isn't better. I don't think improving was what he was getting at. The WR's in total had a pathetic 69 yards receiving in a 39 point performance Sunday. Essentially the Bills are attempting to win without needing WR's to do much of anything in the passing game. They are just out there blocking or occupying defenders for the most part. A lot has been made with regard to opposing defense's playing man coverage on the Bills punchless WR corps but one way to "evolve" is to counter tactics. They can intentionally run defenders deep and leave huge swaths of field for Josh to tuck and run. So they are still pretty worthless as playmakers but they can still contribute tactically to a potent offense. If Kincaid stays healthy they might be able to get away with it in a league where there are no great teams. We can hope.
  21. 'Reviving' this (page 1) post to make point about how useless this forum has become. Is it being maintained to artifically inflate the number of current TBD posts? Either let Just Jack moderate (prune) or just delete the Forum.
  22. The Eagles are the only team Allen hasn't beat in his career besides the Bills obviously.
  23. No need to imagine, just zoom in a select what's available. Buffalo Bills vs. New York Jets Tickets Orchard Park, NY | Ticketmaster
