I have a feeling that Maxwell is not going to get in a game this year. My question is...Can Strong be enough to stop the bleeding once he is off IR? Do they need to get a #2 somehow before the trade deadline? I believe DB is the one thing that absolutely has to be fixed before the deadline. As far as LB, Williams having a neck injury does not sound great. I want to know why in the world they brought Milano back early because now they are screwed at LB for probably another month. I think they can get by with the schedule on the LB side of things but is it Buffalo Joe that now slots in there?

This debate rages on, year after year. It always seems to boil down to speed at WR. I’m not so convinced. The question should be whether the offense has a variety of routes on every play, not a variety of throws. Put another way, no matter how fast your WRs are it doesn’t mean the defense is just going to let them run deep behind the opposing safeties because they don’t believe we’ll throw it deep. What you really want are route trees that cause mismatches and overloads in the opposing secondary.

I feel like the Bills have not always been forthcoming with all the injury news this season. As for your point, it wouldn't surprise me if we see Milano and Williams down for weeks or actually go on IR. So your future might be closer than we think! And I know many past employees that I have worked with that would be better left never heard from again!

He called timeout after the Cheats got a first down. Colossally stupid. All he did was save them time so they could score a TD. We were very lucky that they only came away with a FG.

Not a bad point. The O should be able to put up 20 once in awhile and not have it be an automatic loss.

To me, it reminds me the quick decline of Douglas. He got here and was told to just do whatever and he did well. Then a year into the system his play completely dropped off because he was playing within the system and not his strengths. Why we are forcing players into playing a certain way instead of playing to their strengths is beyond me. Two down, one to go. Better example would be, if it were your business and you needed a replacement, and you could hire a former employee that knows how your business runs (but his work was subpar when asked to step up and would routinely call in) vs someone with no clue, what would you do?

I watched three games Sunday and all three were flag fests, and all three games the Officials were dreadful. So it wasn't so much a Bills issue, though the other two games at least seemed to be equally bad for both teams. The NFL Officiating has been bad for years and seems to get worse every year. Look at this Granderson roughing the passer penalty in the Giants /Saints game just to prove my point. In a league so closely associated with gambling, they need to do better on the officiating end than they are.

It is a practice squad thing. You would have to have Milano, Williams, Buffalo Loe all out before you’d get to that point.

A lot of the teeth gnashing about the offense is because they have to be perfect since the defense isn't doing their jobs, whether or not people want to admit that.

I would rather keep a good defensive coach who took two Mark Sanchez-led teams to the AFCCG out of the division. He'll build a physical roster that will give us problems on offense.

I think his best days are behind and sadly now he is aging faster then ice melting.

Despite his incredible arm Josh has never been great with the deep ball. Most people think a great arm automatically means a great deep ball but that's not the case. A Russ Wilson moon ball is easier to track and catch than a laser with limited arc.

This was very predictable though disappointing. With injuries we need another LB so we bring in a guy who isn’t good and is always injured but hey he knows this extremely complicated defense that would take anyone else (besides opposing offenses) months to learn

Yep. he didn’t go by record with this shtick. It eye test. and throughout the show he think KC has a very good O an solid D. Once they button it up. Conversely he is very down on the Bills. Which maybe is perfect, they play better with a chip on their shoulders
