3rd round draft pick snap counts
Low Positive replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
Beane sucks. Fire him. Fire everybody. Trade Josh Allen. Who cares? This is Drake Maye's division now, and we might as well rebuild for the next two decades. I read that right here, so it must be true. -
Stadium Construction Discussion (No PSL/Seat selection posts)
Ned Flanders replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
Easy on Abraham and the boys...they're building a barn this weekend. You English are so inpatient. -
Because cops typically don’t enforce violations of that nature. At least around here. It probably would be a code enforcement officer. But that’s neither here nor there. Sweet. Raise taxes in the rich for that reason too.

Also no doctor here. Admittedly I'm a glass is half full kind of guy, but I feel encouraged that he's weeks away, and not months away. As far as the playbook stuff goes. We really need to give him some field time, and take whatever lumps come with it. We have the eraser on the other side. Ideally we get a few blowouts, and give him some time in the back half of the schedule, or when we wrap up the #1 seed by week 16.

NOW is Bobby Babich's seat hot?
Mister Defense replied to Mister Defense's topic in The Stadium Wall
Okay, thanks?! But the NOW in my topic title was just a reference to a similar thread I had started just as the Jets game was beginning a few weeks ago. So after three more games, I wanted to see what posters were thinking--NOW, three weeks, 3 games later. And I definitely do not think it is an "outrageous take"! In not way intended it be. Not at all, actually. Because if this is the defense going forward, this is likely not the season all involved were hoping for. In fact, I think there is almost no way it can be. So to me the 'outrageous' thing would be to let this fester, and not make the change, with so many signs pointing to the clear problem,. IF that problem persists.. Obviously I don't see it the same way, such as the young secondary being one of the major problems and the missing players: --Except for 2nd year Bishop, it is actually an experienced secondary, and across the board. Rapp, Benford, Johnson, White are the other starters. All very experienced. But, yes, Strong has also gotten some good playing time. --And a few missing players should not rock a defensive in this manner, would not, I would say. And especially true for a team that is noted for good depth. More importantly though, I don't accept your premise because this defense looks startlingly similar to last year's in run defense, 3rd down efficiency, 2nd half adjustments, tackling... Hard to believe that the same exact ugly things we saw last year are rearing their same exact ugly heads again, and to the same extent, because of missing a few players. We will see. But no way should McBeane wait 6 weeeks, until almost Thanksgiving, to make a change if all of the evidence keeps revealing the same thing. -
3rd round draft pick snap counts
DrDawkinstein replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
It wasnt nearly that many. It was more like 2 drops each his rookie and 2nd year, with one of those memorable drops being during the 2023 Cowboys game, when he already had over 150 yards rushing (1 rushing TD) and 42 yards receiving (with a TD catch as well). But folks only remember the drop that happened late in the game when we were already blowing them out. -

Josh McDaniels is a meathead too. They got a whole collection. What is the collective noun for meatheads? -

Did I say he's no good? I've said he has not looked good. And that is true. Then I asked others opinions. Thank you you've added so much to the conversation. -
I don't know how the cap works in relation to IR in the NFL, but contending NHL teams stash guys on LTIR all season, use the cap space for additional players, and then that injured player is magically healthy for the playoffs when the cap no longer applies.

There was a good post above, pointing out some numbers that support that: -
I thought Doug Marrone was "Meathead" - He's the Pats O-Line coach.

The only team that crushed the Saints this year was the Seahawks, and it wasn't their offense or defense that did it. They broke their backs early with two long kick returns. The only team that the Pats have crushed this year was the Panthers and it wasn't their offense or defense that broke the game open. It was two long punt returns in the first half. -
Once I see a non-biased and empathetic post from you, I will respect your opinion.

The Ray Davis-backup running back discussion
Alphadawg7 replied to TBBills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, spot on. If you look at the carries, he hasn't had any space of opportunities on the few touches he got. This is why people checking stat sheets and ignoring context, sample size, etc are led to misleading conclusions that he is the problem or failing. Someone was talking about this on social media and cut together a bunch of his carries this year, and on those plays Cook would not have fared any better if he had gotten the carry, the play was blown up with the RB having nowhere to go. It would be one thing if there were holes he was either late or slow to hit, or just flat out not seeing and running into a wall by choice. If there is no place to go, there is no place to go. This isn't like Davis and Cook are a "Thunder and Lightning" duo right now where they both get relevant carries and series to play. Davis usually comes in on one play, that is an obvious running situation, and the D is ready and the play has no where to go. I am hoping as the season goes on they start giving Davis more like a series or two instead of a couple one off individual plays to both reduce Cooks wear and tear over the long season and to also get Davis going for the playoffs where we may be in snow every round of the playoffs as the 1 seed and having a power run game will be of value. -
It’s a grand concept not tied to any one budget line item or department. Don’t worry yourself about it. You want more and bigger government and to allow the AOC’s and MTG’s to have more control over your life. You have faith in people like that. So be it.

SI Article on Trades That Should Happen (a few Bills ones)
Orlando Buffalo replied to RyanC883's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Bills are not trading Knox unless we get a nice return, which a 5th is not close. The person who wrote that article has no idea what the Bills use him for and the idea that a 5th rounder could be expected to be better than his current abilities is ridiculous. Also trading him costs us cap money and we don't have any of that around. -

I was pretty vocal last week on having Gore active against the Saints to see what he could do. I stand by that. The thing about the RB position is you earn snaps and carries based on performance. Not only in games but in practice and the film room. His usage would suggest he has not done that. There are backs that need a few touches to get into the flow of the game and he may be one. Unfortunately, that's not going to happen when you play behind a guy like Cook. So find someone that doesn't need that. We NEED someone that can absorb 5-8 touches a game to lighten Cooks load. But those touches have to be positive plays...not whatever it is Davis is doing. We have now had Baby Gore in the building for over a year. I'd say let him show what he can do. -

Fan psychology is interesting. The fans of a 2-2 Pats team are WAY more confident than fans of a 4-0 Bills team. The period from 2000-2018 has left an indelible mark. Bills fans have been waiting for the other shoe to drop for the past 5 years and Pats fans expect to dominate the league again any day now. Anytime they get a wiff of success, they start strutting. But remember, these are the same MFers who were fitting Mac Jones (MJ10, the Baby GOAT) for a gold jacket just a few years ago. -
He’s nowhere near 100% with a brace on like that. Obviously if he’s wearing a brace he’s not 100%. I’d say the brace gets him to 85%…. Then add on game ready percentages. Don’t be surprised if Max isn’t back in the roster until mid November….. That will give him 8 games prior to playoffs. Priority to that is the NFL trade deadline. CB may be one of those positions we go after. Max will not be 100% physically or game ready schematically this year. Knowing McD, he may not see the field. If he does it will be limited reps, down and distance and won’t be for another 5-6 games IMO.

James Cook AFC Offensive Player of the Month (September 2025)!
Cray51 replied to bills742's topic in The Stadium Wall
Great to see. I was a fan of getting him signed, but wasn't sure if $15M would be worth it. To be honest, I still am not 100% that $15M a year made sense, but to get him done at $12M was a GREAT deal. Which doesn't kick in until next year to boot! -
James Cook AFC Offensive Player of the Month (September 2025)!
DrDawkinstein replied to bills742's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes. Another couple mil a year wouldve been easy to find to keep him happy and prevent any future renegotiation. I'm really not trying to make that argument, I didnt wake up and log on to say this, just discussing it in the context of this thread and when someone mentioned he's already underpaid. -

4 were after allen came out of the game, as did the entire left side of the offensive line. But lets all judge a guy for 7 carries across 3 games. -
