How many PS spots are there? Just curious as to how important each is... I know theyre important, but a # would help gauge for me. Im not worried about it, but if the guy was a good kicker in college i could understand stashing him, developing, and having him in the wings if Bass goes loopy again... or possibly next year if needing to cut Bass. Having a guy on could give us a cushion and trust level with staff.... pretty crucial for a SB contender with a very good kicker, but one who could go either way after having the yips a year ago Again, not necessarily in fear of losing this dude i dunno much about, just playing devils advocate a bit for why i could see a K making a PS

Woah! When we first moved to Alaska, I went to Walmart to purchase a firearm to use for protection from bears. At the time I was big into fishing and the wife and I liked to hike quite a bit. It’s a necessity to have protection from grizzly bears just in case you (last resort) needed to save your life. Bear spray doesn’t always do the trick. I asked the salesman to look at the Glock 9mm which I thought was a good choice. He laughed and said “That will be good to use to shoot yourself in the head before the grizzly starts to eat you.” 😂

Parsons is an odd case to me. His sack numbers are impressive, and he is considered a star, but I am never really overwhelmed by watching him in games, especially playoff games. In recent years, I didn't see him really making an impact on playoff games. A guy like him, who is considered a superstar, should be impacting games more, IMO.

I've seen this twice, and I just dont believe its true. Speculation obviously... but he did the Bussin with the Boys Podcast last week, and I remember him talking aboiut it and saying how well that DL looked and Von was his old self until that Detroit field. I think these guys get seasoned to protect themselves against bad beats. It was the right move, but it didnt work out. I'd do that deal over and over again. 85 out of 100 times it works..... and those are odds you should ALWAYS be willing to roll the dice on. A BAD GM would see that situation and be scared to pull the trigger again

I can't agree with having a kicker on the PS. Very unlikely we'd have a game day call up for a kicker unless Bass was injured. If injured during a game, we'd get by for the rest of the game, same thing if he's struggling. If he was injured, we'd have a mid-week tryout session for a replacement kicker for the time he was injured. Having had Davis in camp, the staff already has some idea of what to expect of him and that would either give him a leg up (lol) for the competition or they'd know they wanted to find better. No need to waste a PS signing on a kicker.
