  2. https://www.democratandchronicle.com/story/sports/football/nfl/bills/2025/10/09/buffalo-bills-sean-mcdermott-joe-brady-offense-too-cute/86595781007/ McDermott and Brady address the offense being "too cute". Brady seems to justify it. McDermott doesn't seem happy. And I think he's correct. Look for Buffalo to get back to basics and downhill running this week IMO.
  3. For the 40%+ who say trade for Sean McVay, what exactly makes you think they would give him away for some draft picks? For the 20 people so far who opted for Gruden, he’d be right up there with Rex in terms of the LAST guy I’d want. I had enough personal experience with that little fella with the GIANT ego that I’d put my Bills fandom on hold.
  4. Wow!!!! We suck! Glad we got that defensive minded HC
  5. I’m including it. And while Benford is a hit the missed opportunity on the first pick - and really the first round picks since are not helping enough. But the answer is still no. We have no cap room. We have to hit on the first 2-3 rounds OR ——- TRADE the picks. It’s the stuff we don’t know that makes it tough to fully judge we can only compare them to what other teams are doing. Despite spending to the cap and winning a SB the Rams have hit on their picks and traded for Adams. And I guess this is my point because I’m a fan of everything the Rams did to get to that Super Bowl. Trading assets trading first round picks. By October 30 when we see we won’t be picking in the top 15 bc we’re a playoff team that pick should be on the table. The Jags traded their 2026 first at the draft which is a big risk considering the degree of difficulty to make the playoffs in the AFC. That move looks to be working out.
  6. I like Shaheed. He is a legit big play guy. However, last year when he missed time the Saints signed a freshly cut MVS off our roster and he made some big plays too. I just don't think we run a system that can use deep ball receivers well. So if we get Shaheed or another guy I don't think we use him properly anyway.
  7. The funny part is, this is what they did to Dallas with Cook. They just ran it down their throats because they couldn't stop it. But for some reason when a receiver/TE is the "hot hand" they go away from it.
  8. Very sad. She had some great roles. RIP
  9. People pumping up Palmer all offseason as some big acquisition was just typical Message Board behavior. Palmer is redundantly the same type of FA WR Beane brings in every year. I’m not sure what people honestly expected. He’s a capable NFL player, but at the end of the day, he’s not moving the needle as a consistent playmaker or somebody that needs to be game planned against by opposing DC’s. I mean it’s not like the Bills were getting a WR like Jakobi Meyers who’s been putting up numbers despite poor QB play throughout his career, Palmer has had the benefit of one of the better passers in the league before Allen, so yeah, expectations that he was going to be a difference maker were just ill conceived from the get go. On the flip side, if he’s getting separation, but not getting the ball, it’s likely bc he’s one of the last reads on most plays. Josh is looking to Shakir, Kincaid, Keon, THEN Palmer, so that’s not going to add up to any significant volume in most games, especially when the team is generally playing with a lead, or not far behind, and remains committed to the run... Only so much ball to go around when “everybody eats”.
  10. "the defense hasn't found itself - by design" ??? They don't have enough talent on defense regardless of schemes or design. At least 4 of our starters on Defense would be hard-pressed to be back-ups on other NFL teams.
  11. I really wanted a reporter to say something like "how did you hurt your ankle, Mr. Ed?"
  12. "Everyone eats" was just a euphemism for Josh doesn't need to force feed a whiner anymore. But it also means we need to be better with play calling and Josh needs to be better with understanding what the defense is giving him and finding the guys who are open. We've seen some mixed results with that this year imo.
  13. Bills should still take AFCE but Patriots definitely look to be on the upswing I mean the division wasn't going to be terrible forever
  14. Bills Parcells and Buffalo Bill Cowher would have definitely hoisted the Lombardi here by now, gents!
  15. Ave separation per nextgenstats (overall league rank): Shakir - 4.1 yards (7th) Kincaid - 3.4 yards (32nd) Keon - 2.9 yards (63rd) Palmer - 2.2 (100th)
  16. Shhh. Brandon Beane is clearly a genius who didn’t simply luck into Josh Allen…
  17. Yeah I've no clue on the validity. Seems wrong to me but the perception is out there.
  18. I'm still ok with everyone eating, I just want James to eat way more then everyone else 🤷‍♂️ (combined)
  19. 2023 draft has Kincaid who is a starting TE. Torrence who is a top 30 guard in the league, and rotational LB in Dorian they didn’t have a pick in the 4th, and had a 5th and 2 7ths. The ten picks after Kincaid, only guy I’d consider a better pick is Laporta 20 picks after Torrence, only guy I’d consider taking over him is Byron young williams is the best selection from 91-111. Next guy is Chamari Connors. bills getting two legit starters is better than 50% of the league given their draft slot are teams drafting better? Sure, there are some. But to make the cutoff after the 2022 draft produced one of the best results for the Bills in their franchise history and saying the last two drafts have been bad is stupid
  20. I can't even rib my Patriots fan friend because I have no comeback. Me: Patriots won't win the division title nor make the postseason this year. You got a ways to go. Him: I watched my team win six SB titles. Get back to me when your team wins one. Better yet, get back to me when your team stops wasting Josh Allen and can actually get to a SB. The Patriots will be in a SB before the Bills are. I had nothing left to say lol. I can't brag about winning division titles and Allen being elite. It doesn't matter to a fan of a team where winning a title is the only measure of success. Point being, the Bills have really wasted being in a weak division with an elite QB. How much better will Allen be in his 30's. What will be different about McDermott? The QB play has been very good to great in the postseason. The DC's have changed. Yet, the defense regularly gets abused by elite QB's. There is one constant.
