It would be silly to ignore the growing rift between Diggs and the coaching staff dating as far back as Dorsey, at least. And then of course the rift grew to freeze out Josh Allen as well. (Might even have been reciprocated, privately, at that point.) But yes, the Brady-led offense has had major issues consistently getting the ball to WRs who run routes past the line of scrimmage. Diggs, to his discredit, also failed to come through in the playoffs the last couple seasons he was in Buffalo, on an individual level. Moving on simply had to happen, unfortunately.

Did anyone else see the switch flip with Josh Allen?

Time to go on a run -
But but… he only runs in TDs from the 1-yd line. I think it’s Jalen Ramsey takes a hard shot on the play too from one of our OL. Funny how that works after his comments years ago

Harbaugh jumped his draft up so much. Until Harbaugh signed with Chargers, I don’t recall many pundits having J.J. even in the first round. He just happened to get drafted in a qb needy draft. He was what, the 5th QB taken? Any other year, he would have been a late 2nd/3rd rounder.

Too bad they couldn't of done a double header at Key Bank with Niagara vs Canisus in the first game -
Around the League - Week 13 (no Bills stuff in this thread please)

Yeah it seemed pretty blatant. Add in that false start as well and the tripping non-call. At least 4 bad calls when the game is on the line. -
Not sure Beane will have that kind of leverage from his couch…here’s hoping 🤞🏻

He needs to stay healthy...

They would be more likely to do the deal without Keon Coleman Meanwhile we are going to have to figure out what to do with Palmer, Samuel, and Knox 🤣

So What Was the Deal on the Penalty After the Pitt TD?
ganesh replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall
I believe the kicking OOB was intentional as the ball is placed at the 25 yard line as explained by others. -
That running game was great to see. But let's not rush into conclusions. Why did we run the ball so much? Why did we not throw down the field? Part of the answer to these two questions is that the run game was working. But the other part was that Brady didn't trust the OL to protect Allen. Allen wasn't sacked today because (1) he didn't throw very often, and (2) most of his passed came out quick. The Pitt DL is better at pressuring QBs than stopping runners. So Brady didn't give them a chance to pressure Josh by calling short, timing passes. It's what he should have done in the Texans game. The shame is that the Steeler secondary isn't great and we didn't/couldn't take advantage of that because we don't have great wideouts and don't trust our OL (with the two starting tackles out) to protect Allen. Fortunately, we didn't have to pass downfield because our OL was pushing guys around on running plays. Props to Van Demark and Anderson but I wouldn't want Brown or Dawkins to be out long term.

Game week thread - Bengals at Bills
Kelly to Allen replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Going to be a great game. Allen throws 3 tds and bills win Bills 44 Bengals 24 -
We had an equally good player who is continuing to elevate the level of play in New England. We simply missed the mark on keeping him part of this offense. That is on Brady.
-
Much more believable Allen may have said that.

I think he has been very inconsistent this year. He has shown up against the big teams or when we’ve needed him but inbetween has been very up and down
