TJ Watt Speculation after Pickens trade (Nothing Official)
Warriorspikes51 replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
well then, he's a 1 year rental for us and that would be fine -
Josh Allen has repeatedly called him "the best third-down back the league," so I guess I can understand where you got that opinion.

Is there an NFL team with a weaker WR group than the Bills?
T master replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's why they call it a "Football Team " !! Then when you throw into the equation that when they had Diggs they didn't do nearly as good I'd say the new thought on the offense is working pretty well . But again that may be just me because I want to keep McD as HC and there are a bunch of those that don't which I'll never understand ... -
The transition to YTTV (i am a subscriber to both) had a major impact on all of the "free" streams that used to be available on gameday, hence my subscription. But these prices - yikes! It may be more fiscally wise to hit up the local Bills Backer Bar...

The one game cook missed, Ray Davis had 150 scrimmage yards. Are the bills a better team with cook? For sure- But at what cost? I would much rather a day 2 pick next year at cost control for 4 years paired up with Ray Davis and Ty Johnson, then paying Cook 15 million
-
The best point youve made so far.
-
He went from 962 yards and a 3.9 YPC to 2005 and a 5.8 YPC average. 3 years before he had 593 and a 3.7 YPC average. I don't know how you can say its "false". Swift went from 1049 and 4.6 YPC with philly, to 959 and 3.8 YPC after leaving.

Knox should be TE1 on this team IMO & he is being paid like it. If we aren't going to use Kincaid on intermediate routes, we may as well trade him
-
Ty Johnson is a ONE down back!
-
The Falcons oline is rated better than the Eagles. Happy now? No, he's not frustrating to watch catch the ball, he's had drops, those are the frustrating ones, but when they throw to him he's dynamic. Watch his highlights from last season, he really had a tremendous year.

Ty Johnson is the better receiver, and it isn't close.
-
I’m good with all of that, but point 2 is patently false.
-
Shakir Palmer Moore Davis Samuel Coleman Keep 6 and have them all active on gameday. Rotate a bit. Davis is a very strong blocker. Competition in camp to earn a spot would be fun
-
yeah, so that’s not how that works, but if you want to have massive dead cap implications over a RB who you admit isn’t elite, I guess it makes sense.

I think i can provide a few reasons: 1 - I think the rate of injury factors into it considerably - afaik its one of the highest injury rates by position. You want the money you spend to be on the field not in the trainers room. CMC is a good example here. 2 - How much of it is coaching and offensive line? Barkley was pretty crappy in NY and then amazing in Philly. How much of that goes to him vs. better coaching and offensive line? 3 - The fluctuation between good seasons and bad also is a factor. Mostert is a good example. 4 - Age and injury drop-off. These can sometimes seem like absolute cliff dive drop-offs. 5 - Bad contracts that have been given out. Bell comes to mind. CMC. Gurley. Zeke.

Lance Lysowski is reporting that Jason Karmanos is not likely to be back next season. https://buffalonews.com/sports/professional/nhl/sabres/article_e462baa5-8494-4a09-9688-6c2d370433f2.html

Notice you took out Robinson to help prove a point. Outside of the offensive line, Barkley and Gibbs are elite receiving threats. Can we all admit that Cook while ok in that respect can also be frustrating to watch catch the ball? Do we really want to compare Cook and Henry as runners or blockers? Listen I really like the guy too. I'd love to see him on the Bills for a few more years. But lets be realistic about who is beyond our emotional attachment to him.

Will probably be themed around some obscure historical event or figure to create "awareness"

I “CAN” play in the NFL too, doesn’t mean it’s the best option. If the coaches feel the better player for the situation is on the field, it means Cook isn’t good enough at it. The fact you even question why he needs to block shows me all I need to know about your football IQ, so in retrospect, that was 30 seconds of my life I should have used better, but hey, I can try to get you to understand, just like Jimbo “can” be a 3 down back.

So there's no comprehensive deal if hormone and chlorinated beef isn't accepted? And just for the record - you're pro-hormones and chlorine in your food and anti-US / UK trade deal. Noted! ***** dummy

I like it better since it seemed to me that DTV buffered a TON. I’m guessing that’s individual experience though. I am also a YouTubeTV customer and use it as my “cable TV” and it’s the absolutely best. You can order the channels on the guide in any order you want, seemingly unlimited storage (I haven’t checked how much but I currently have enough episodes of Jeopardy on backlog to last for a solid month) and it’s reasonably priced.

Is there an NFL team with a weaker WR group than the Bills?
RoscoeParrish replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
What do you think is the Bills biggest remaining need? I feel like with our draft, we have filled most of the holes on defense. Definitively shored up DL. Safety room is a bit of a jamboree, but we have some young players there. I don’t think the Bills have the weakest WR room in the league. I don’t think they need the best WR room in the NFL to be a great offense. I think if I could add a top 10 player at any position tomorrow, it would be WR with a bullet. Can’t all of those things be true? -
Sure they will, because the deal states that UK beef standards are still in place. They won’t import beef that doesn’t meet their health and welfare standards. https://www.thegrocer.co.uk/news/uk-us-deal-to-include-agrifoods-but-government-draws-red-line-on-hormone-beef-and-chlorinated-chicken/704236.article Dummy.

ive always said it with guys fighting at bars- sometimes even a minor shove lands with a stumble and fall and all of a sudden it’s a “tua” situation or worse. those dumb luck moments, like slipping out of a golf cart, turning severely life altering really are a perspective changer. I don’t wildly change my life to prevent every last trip/slip/fall… but there are definitely moments where I catch myself and tighten up behavior more quickly than once upon a time.
