  1. Past hour
  2. Yeah, the guys in Wild Cherry were kinda Gaelic if you ask me... not that there's anything wrong with that.
  3. I'm just making the point that you're taking on someone else's opinion. You didn't check it out for yourself because you agreed with what you were told.
  4. I’ve learned to wait 48 hours to a week after Trump does anything to see what the true outcome is. I’ve made a fool of myself jumping to conclusions immediately after an event/comment/action he’s taken. That doesn’t mean it always pans out. But I’ll wait this one out. I do think it was a bad look that Putin fired off more drones at the Ukraine almost immediately after but I suppose when Trump flew a B2 over his head he felt a certain way. I’ll say this whole summit looked poor for Trump based on his build up towards it, but again, I’ll give it a week. Edit: oh. And the red carpet for Vlad ***** Putin was cheesy at best, insulting to an ally at worst. But that’s the kind of thing I’ve just come to expect from Don; tasteless crap. But I just can’t get upset anymore about him having the tact of an Alabama moonshiner.
  5. And if you don’t want to believe it, it must be false. Right?
  6. Also Curtis Samuel. It makes you wonder if any of them are going to be ex-spectorated.
  7. Try your best to win them all And one day time will tell When you're the one that's standing there You'll reach the final bell You're the best around Nothing's gonna ever keep you down You're the best around Nothing's gonna ever keep you down You're the best around Nothing's gonna ever keep you down Oh-oh
  8. We voted on that yesterday... you have to start checking your emails.
  9. Is Bishop now replacing Cook as the board whipping boy?
  10. Like most things you hear about, if you want to believe it, it must be true.
  11. I hear it’s nothing but “progressives” and dissenters are quickly run out. Sounds incredibly lame. I guess it’s good that mentally weak people feel safe there.
  12. Bluesky is what Twitter was before it turned into a cesspool. Maybe you like cesspools.
  13. Come on now. We are now way past the drought years when we had no chance because of qb issue. We are now talking about windows among elite teams which have qbs who can lead the respective teams to a Super Bowl. Yes Allen is elite. But when he is facing another team in the playoffs that also has an elite qb, then it matters who has more and better core supporting casts.
  14. I’ll take the bet. How about $10? bluesky - isn’t that a safe space for your sort?
  15. You think he looks good? Check out these highlights!
  16. For anyone keeping tabs, CB Trey Amos has reportedly been “lights out” in camp and is likely to start for the Commies. I know there was a lot of back and forth between him, Hairston, and the Michigan corner, who’s also looking good.
  17. Fox News, even! $5 says this reporter is fired by tomorrow.
  18. Walk in chewing bubble gum, then spit it out😑
  19. On the contrary, there’s a bunch of money (and votes) being made not solving it. One look at the percentage of violent crime arrests where the arrestee is a recidivist erases your single starting point, which is designed specifically to obfuscate and wave away the problem without solving it.
  20. I actually tried joining recently for the first time and they made do a video selfie to prove I'm a real person. Apparently my account was "suspicious" That creeped me the heck out. So yeah I joined but my Facebook lifespan was 2 days.
  21. Same. Max will start at some point this season, but his frame is ripe for injury concerns. Im still a big fan of the pick, but we might be a season away from him playing significant snaps (hope im wrong). Speaking of secondary, Im "hopeful" that Cole does what Bernard did in his 2nd season (injured part of camp, but wins starting spot and has a breakout year). Quietly Rapp is also an injury concern, but stabilizes 1 safety spot when healthy. If we have to revert to some combo of Hamlin, Lewis, Hancock, Forrest - we are in big trouble regardless of Cb2.
  22. My expectations were low because I don't believe a negotiated peace is possible without major concessions from both sides. Russia wants territorial concessions and a neutral Ukraine, no NATO membership, and a rollback of NATO forces from their border with specific security guarantees. Ukraine and Europe want a do over. Unconditional peace and complete Russian withdrawal from occupied territories, NATO and EU membership, and the continuation of encircling Russia and placing offensive weapons at their border. Something has to give or war goes on.
  23. Today
  24. I've been in the camp of keeping Samuel. I think he's too talented when healthy and we don't have a whole lot of that in the WR room as is. That said, I have noticed a couple things over the past couple days. First was Brandon Beane talking about the WR room on the Pat McAfee show and mentioning everyone but him. Then today, McDermott specifically talked about him needing to have a sense of urgency in these next couple weeks bc they need to see where he fits into the WR room. I'd still hold on to him if it were me. I think last year was a situation where he was new to the team and dealing with injuries. Down the stretch, he started to show up and I'd like to see that continue. That said, it seems like he is in danger. And at the moment, I feel like unless he gets 100% fast and really shows up in Practice and the Pre-Season - I'm leaning towards him being traded and then keeping Shakir, Palmer, Coleman, Moore, and Shavers (potentially Shenault as the 6th "WR" for Returns).
  25. Had time to snap a picture with the girl though. He and the Browns deserve each other.
