Forgive my ignorance on the subject, but why not turn him into a tight end or H-back? He would have to put on at least 15 pounds, and take some blocking lessons, but he's certainly not doing anything at the WR position. Rams are legit. I don’t see Darnold holding up in the playoffs. Eagles just aren’t there this year. In the AFC if you eliminate the big name teams like Buffalo, KC, and Baltimore, I sort of like what the Jaguars are doing but think it’s probably Houston. That game Houston lost to Denver was going to to be a blowout when Stroud got hurt. I just think they’re the most dangerous team in the AFC right now. Rams vs Texans, Rams win.

Not really sure how those are impacted. If we release someone, we can't control what 31 other teams do in waivers (see, e.g., Houston). And if we claim someone on waivers, that player isn't going to not report just because Darius Slay was a b1tch. It's more about maintaining a good relationship with the other teams by keeping the "gentleman's agreement" about not claiming other teams' cuts.
