  1. Past hour
  2. A Reed replacement is possible. Josh and Cook are good Thurman and Kelly replacements. But Bruce is never going to be replicated.
  3. I don’t know that anyone is poaching him as an OC and he seems happy here.
  4. Thats definitely part of it but yesterday showed how crucial defensive turnovers are to our success. The Bosa hit on Rogers has to be one of the plays of the year by our defense. If we can get even one of those vs the Bengals we will be on our way.
  5. Give each of them Josh at the start of their tenures…… do they still look as bad?
  6. IF the Bills get the ball and score first and hold Burrows and then score again.................. That is how football works and why they play the games and we watch them. Go Bills.
  7. This is spot on. When we can run we’re a different team. Last night Brady had his way with Davis and Cook. We controlled possessions, the clock and the defense only needed 18 minutes of PT the entire game. We’re one dimensional, no pass game, no creativity or movement in the offensive scheme and when we can’t run we’re cooked. Pitt wasn’t good last night, this helped mask alot of our problems and weaknesses. Sure we played hard last against Pitt but I still see the same issues as before with Brady, the scheme and the pass game.
  8. Agreed. They’re trying. And Beane even tried for something big at the trade deadline. My only issue there was he should’ve put his eggs in another basket.. not going after an interdivision WR. BUT …really glad they seem to have finally moved on from Samuel. Let’s hope Cooks provides more than his lackluster efforts. I have hope Brady and the passing offense can turn it around. I suspect we’ll know after 2 weeks. Bengals and Pats will be tough to beat without more of a passing offense… I think.
  9. He didn't play a lot
  10. Unless it happened on a previous play, I don't see how it's even possible for Allen to have kneed Heyward from this angle.
  11. Here is a good replay where Heyward gets mad the first time. I’m seeing absolutely nothing here. I think he either got hit in the nuts accidentally and thought it was Allen, or he manufactured it out of thin air because he’s a big fat baby.
  12. Shavers was great in run blocking yesterday.
  13. Kromer is the man. I would’ve loved to see him be the interim head coach. Feel like we may lose him soon and keep the same lame duck coach staff in place
  14. Could win out or lose every game. Just how this season is going.
  15. Well, we could go and get his old understudy, Adam Thielen. Just released by Minnesota.
  16. I can’t even begin to imagine the price for Garrett after what the Colts ended up paying for a much less impactful player in Gardner. I’d love him but no thank you at the price it is going to take to get him.
  17. I would be disappointed like most if there’s no trophy case at OBD with a Lombardi; however, it’s more about getting difference maker players. So far we’ve only managed Allen and Cook. Reid is considered top notch and he has the trophy case as evidence, however, it would probably be empty without Kelsey, Jones and Hill. I’m not mentioning Mahomes since he and Allen are comparable, but we don’t have the others. If KC didn’t have those 3, we would already have a Lombardi or more. The coach has to have the players. Could another Bills coach and GM do better? As Cray51 listed, there aren’t many coaches who have done better lately.
  18. If anything, where I'm at now is MORE apropos for that reference lol I love the country, man. People aren't my jam.
  19. I know this is kind of a “hear me out” or LAM post, and I know that objectively we only have about a 4% chance right now. I also admit I’m a bit of a homer, but I still think this is rational enough. I think the Bengals are the toughest game left on the schedule. If we win that one, we have a good chance to win out. I know most of you think this team is flawed and that McD is a bad coach, but we actually have a good regular-season track record with him, and we’re traditionally great in December. Oh, and we are NOT losing twice to the Pats* this year. And if we do win out, only the following things need to happen for us to get the 1-seed: Patriots lose one more divisional game (@ Jets, vs. Dolphins) or both of their other games (vs. Giants, @ Ravens). This is not impossible at all. I know they’re good, but nobody wins every game. I’d bet they drop one of those divisional matchups. Broncos lose two more games — @ Raiders, vs. Packers, vs. Jaguars, @ Chiefs, vs. Chargers. It is pretty likely this will happen. They’re winning too many close games, and that’s a tough schedule. Colts, Chargers, Jaguars each lose one game. That’s basically guaranteed. So in my mind, we really only need two things: beat the Bengals, and then hope either the Dolphins or Jets can pull off a divisional win. If it fails, then I’m back to my original expectation: we’ll be playing a wild card game @ Ravens.
  20. Are we sure we want them voting?
  21. Easily a top 5 at his position. I'll admit was upset over his hold in and was okay with moving on from him but thankfully Beane and his agent came to a middle ground to get a good deal for the player and the team and both getting success from it.
  22. Pittsburgh read that all the way on that first drive and it could have easily been a pick. Seems like they knew the exact play was coming from film study. Time to retire that play and maybe create a new version of it.
  23. He was blocking like a mad man out there. Considering what we asked the offense to do it makes sense.
