Abel, come on, give me the keys, man Everything has all gone down wrong Abel, come on, give me the keys, man Everything has all gone down wrong I see water on the bridge Well, you better hold my hand through this Turn around, turn around, take me back I can't calm down Turn around, turn around, take me back I can't calm down
  3. I agree with this 99%, because the Bills don't really play a "soft zone" very often anymore. They play a lot of zone, but almost every NFL team does that. But contrary to TBD rage posts, the Tampa-2 left Buffalo with Leslie Frazier. Any look at the All-22 will tell you that. In fact, they didn't play cover-2 on the play that the OP rages about. But they did play cover-2 two plays later and let Maye end the game with an easy pass for 19. But the only way to know this is to watch the overhead views, but most people refuse to pay $15 a month to see what actually happens in games. Lets put some data to this. Like everything sports these days, there is data. There is not a single team in the NFL who plays more man than zone, but the Browns are close to 50/50. I think I might start a thread with this table so that people can stop acting like the Bills are the only team that plays a zone defense. But in the meantime, here ya go: https://www.sharpfootballanalysis.com/stats-nfl/nfl-coverage-schemes/
  4. That is totally fair criticism. I think there is plenty of fair criticism with how Brady has called games this year, used personnel, etc. I am not saying Brady is doing a bad job, but I think there are holes in how he has called games that if he shored up the offense would have fewer stalled phases in games and we would score even more points.
  5. yeah, for our roster based on performance the best list i can find... 0 through 100
  6. No disrespect, but I don't think they really "planned" on Tre being the starter. They said we needed speed in our secondary, even if Tre was to prove he had something left in the tank, speed was never going to be part of what he brought to the table. Based on everything said about Hairston, Tre, etc I think the plan was to let them legit compete in hopes that Hairston either won the job in camp or would eventually take over the job during the season. Tre getting first teams reps to start camp was not only not a surprise, but 100% what I expected as that is pretty much what they always do. Open camp with the vet over a rookie as the starter until the rookie earns the spot. They trusted Tre, and quite honestly, Tre had a good camp and was showing the most ready to play over Hairston. Not like they just handed Tre the job, he legit had a better camp before Hairston got a full camp to compete due to injury. They have spoken a lot about wanting to get more speed in our secondary, so if they had their wish, it would be Hairston out there right now instead of Tre. The unfortunate injury altered that possibility, but with him coming back, my expectation is they won't rush him in there, but I suspect we will see a lot of Hairston in the KC game with the 3 speedster WR's they have in Worthy, Brown, and Tyquan who all had sub 4.3 40's coming out of college.
  7. this. We are going to keep getting what we have been getting with McD. Gotta try to shake something loose. And it's not like we revert back to the drought era.
  8. KC is not missing the playoffs. Not a chance
  9. Wait a minute! Then who am I sending my $19.99 monthly subscription fee to?
  10. These rarely work out but...AJ Brown to the Bills https://atozsports.com/nfl/buffalo-bills-news/linked-game-changing-receiver-sure-to-make-josh-allen-happy-trade-deadline/
  11. I'm complaining about our best weapon on O that's not Josh Allen getting the lowest number of touches this season vs the Pats. James Cook is a feature RB. The best scoring machine in the NFL.
  12. Problem was that same returner who "Gave himself up supposedly" correctly kneeled the ball down on the previous kickoff. So, to the D it was not a gimmie that he was giving himself up based on what he did correctly previously.
  13. If last Sunday was everyone eating, Joe Brady must spend his off seasons in Sudan
  14. We went 11-6 that year with a defense that finished number ONE in points allowed, yards, and 3rd down defense. That was a Sean McDermott coach defense that often bailed the offense out. We don't make it to that point with Rex Ryan's defense. I'm sorry. Once the league caught up to his defense he got really stubborn and never adjusted because of his stubbornness/arrogance. That's why he's sitting in an ESPN studio right now publicly begging for a job.
  15. I agree with this Take.. The picked forced throw to Shakir in double coverage and Coleman was 1-1 outside at the pylon.. Should have taken that shot instead.
  16. like 'slot players don't play as much' 😂😂
  17. he is starting. he already beat the Packers once... so he can do it again.
  18. There is a concept referred to as ‘gouging’. It’s the new American paradigm. It’s not morally right, but it is, what it is.
  19. I completely agree. McD is never a few moves ahead in his strategy. 13 seconds was the classic example but we have seen it time and again (last year in the Texans game was also abysmal). The last Pat drive was shades of 13 seconds in that they were giving the Pats receivers too much cushion. It was great that they pressured Maye but they were playing too far off the receivers. The Boutte reception was even worse and sealed a much easier FG try. By the time that FG was good McD just gave up. There was seemed to be no strategy for the kickoff or the subsequent play. The Instruction should have been clear. Let the ball go through the endzone and give Josh time for two deep strikes or one to get us into FG range. Once Samuel has his brain cramp there is barely time for one play and that was just going through the motions. I've said this for years we will win a SB despite McD's game management and never because of it.
  20. Agreed. What kinda boat you got? I rock a Crownline CCR 215 and recently got a Waverunner too.
  21. So our offense that before Sunday had an NFL record for consecutive games not losing the turnover battle, Josh was at 33 TD's - 2 Turnovers in his previous 13 games, we were the highest scoring team in the AFC since "Everybody Eats" became a thing, scored more total points than any team in the NFL last year, including KC and PHI who each played one more game than us with the SB and after we sat the offense in week 17, and we saw our QB, Shakir, etc also set individual records in that span as well, including winning Josh his first MVP who personally set several records in that span. But we are out here complaining about an offense that has been the highest scoring offense in Bills history, the AFC this year, the AFC regular season last year, the AFC post season last year - instead of a defense that can't get off the field on 3rd down, that gave up 32 points in the AFCCG to a team that didn't break 30 the entire season outside that one game and was down 31-0 at one point the following week after hanging 32 on us, and a defense that has given up 35 PPG to the chiefs in our 4 playoff losses to them? I don't know what this Bills syndrome is called where people don't like scoring unless we score the way they want to score, but its wild to me. Meanwhile, our D is having issues right now and not playing well enough to make up for the rare instance when Allen and the offense struggle like they did when they made us lose the turnover over battle for the first time in like a season and a half 3-1 aganst the Pats. Not exactly a surpirse to lose a game when you lose the turnover battle 3-1. And yet, all our D had to do was not allow a game winning FG drive against a 2nd year QB on a less talented roster - but our injury riddled D failed to hold once again and between that and the self inflicted errors by 2 fumbles and a bad throw INT, we lost by 3.
  22. This whole strategy by Buffalo pisses me off. It's the same as the AFCCG game last season. I believe the Bills had just tied it 29-29. I told my son, play to win and don't let KC dink and dunk down the field easily for a FG and maybe a TD. Then of course we allow it by playing soft and then everyone considers it a "win" because they only allowed KC a FG to go up 32-29. NO, it was a Loss...because we allowed them to take a lead with 2:30 remaining. And you aren't going to get down the field easily against a good defense in their house., which was proven to be the case.
  23. I just hope the good doctor lands on his feet.
