  1. Past hour
  2. You didn't answer the question. And you won't because you don't have any answers. Even Brady's biggest detractors don't. How do you get traditionally middling to bad NFL WR's to perform like WR1 and WR2? I think what confuses you is this idea that the passing offense has to be ever changing to avoid patterns. The design has to be repeatable to avoid mistakes. That is why teams value talent on the outside. With rare exception the Josh's and Joe's beat the X's and O's. Daboll's offense didn't decline in 2021 because he got figured out, it declined because they lost the threat of a short pass being turned into a big play. It allowed defense's to play off and that played into Allen's tendencies to push the ball downfield regardless of the amount of traffic. John Brown was incredibly important prior to that. He could beat you over the top or take a WR screen to the house in 2019-2020. In replacing him with Sanders instead of someone electric they had left themselves with no WR speed and no RB threat from the backfield. Lil' Dummy was basically left wide open for two years and when Daboll and Dorsey tried to lean into that the result was volatility. Not having the proper talent in place in the passing game has been a recurring issue with the Bills WR corps since that 2020 season.
  3. I'm definitely a real person, big dawg. But whatever makes you sleep better at night. Wierd indeed.
  4. This is exactly the issue. The WR group was bad, and adding Palmer, a third WR at best on the Chargers, was not going to move the needle for a team that needed two quality boundary WRs. All of this was obvious, including that Coleman was not going to develop into something he wasn't in college. A real tragedy given the overall weakness in the AFC this year, including the possibility that the Chiefs and the Ravens don't make the playoffs.
  5. we don't have the browns QB room
  6. SB is an impact player. He the Bills best OL. He was hurt and should have been taken out way before he was. He would be the biggest injury loss of the entire season.
  7. Talk about terrible and unfortunate timing for this thing to release. Zero interest in watching it right now after Thursday. I'm sure i'll watch it at some point.
  8. This goes against my pessimistic nature but here goes. Texans had 8 sacks , Allen under pressure all game. Coaches made every attempt to loose the game however we were in position to win the game.
  9. Wow, you folks are really depressing. Bills were 6-6 in 2023. Short memories about how much worse this team is/looks compared to past years. I can only imagine the threads when they lost to Philly in November 2023 in OT.
  10. I suspect Josh would want to stick around Buffalo rebuild or no rebuild (though talk of a rebuild of this team seems silly to me). The Bills believed in him in a HUGE way and continue to, and he seems like a loyal guy. Plus, he has to be treated like a god in the greater Buffalo area. That being said, if a LA/SD or west coast in general offer came in, he might be real tempted to take it because of his wife and family.
  11. There were a number of "if points" Throughout the game. For instance, If Praeter hadn't missed the extra point earlier in the game, the Bills would have been only 3 points behind at the end of the game. They would have had the option of kicking a field goal to tie it up and send the game into overtime. Hindsight is a beautiful and frustrating thing.
  12. This is what I really dislike about college football- the annual cream puff derby where big schools play teams they can steamroll 70-3. They can start their season 5-0 without playing any real opposition. Shameful, but it’s all about money.
  13. I also noticed that during the game. Houston beat the crap out of us, but they weren’t dirty plays. I have total respect for that team. McDermott and Brady are who needs to see this. That offensive scheme was stupid under those conditions.
  14. I respect your prerogative to be unhappy.
  15. Thru good fortune Josh isn't in traction, sure didn't look like his line wanted to protect him Thursday night. We have James Cook. Shakir is a new dad. Bishop seems to be getting it.
  16. This is one of the most frustrating seasons of my life. The drought wasn’t always frustrating. They just weren’t very good. This season set up perfectly for them. They arrogantly didn’t look to improve upon what looked like the worst WR room in the NFL. Then the GM goes on the popular morning show. He condescendingly mansplains to the hosts and an educated fanbase why we are all wrong and he knows best. The Bills used the clip to promote the season!! They were insulting us. Almost instantly, what anyone with a brain could see, came to fruition. The WRs were trash. Now they’re about to waste a season in Josh Allen’s prime, where Baltimore and KC were down. The Bills had a very easy schedule. This year was set up perfectly. To this point, they’ve failed and it’s their own arrogance that has us here. Brady hasn’t done a great job this year. You can’t make guys that have never been good, good. This is on Beane. Brady has been bad but no one would flourish with this group. They stink.
  17. Shocker! All the trump sycophants aren’t sufficiently introspective or reflective to consider the possibility that other peoples (Native Americans) had functioning societies.
  18. They certainly are by this time in the season. But some here enjoy wearing the red and blue blinders, and that's fine. And we certainly can't blame people that have purchased December/January tickets from wanting to think that way!
  19. He knew what was going on in the division and which direction the Bills were heading. We sure could use him.
  20. Again as I stated they are 31st run D that’s a fact. If you think they are a top half of the league D you’re delusional. All analytical football watchers know the Bills D is and has been the problem. This doesn’t excuse the O from poor performances.. but the D and its soft philosophy and player size is the problem. You’re blending two different discussions. I have never said Josh or the O aren’t responsible when they play poorly. But any objective Bills watcher is aware the D week in and week out is the Bills biggest problem.
  21. @Joe Ferguson forever - your mini-me has finally arrived. Congrats!!
  22. Anyone else miss having Mack on the team? Seemed like he brought a smile to the face almost every game last season. At this point, I’m thinking his contribution to the team and winning was even more underrated than we understood last year. Makes me even sicker to think he’s now on the Pats with a better record than us.
  23. Acho shows how Josh had zero options and the Texans had zero respect for our WRs. No idea whether it is Brady, the WRs or a combination of the two, but it needs to be fixed, and, unfortunately it won't happen during this season. Worried Brady and our WRs are going to get Josh seriously injured.
  24. Different team. Different season. We will win enough to make the WC, but the division is out of reach. The defense is a mess. The offense is a mess. There will probably be like 15 players on the injury report.
  25. I’m looking at the Texans game differently today. Jared Goff threw 5 INTs vs that D last year. They just don’t allow ANYTHING. We were really ok considering no Kincaid and a complete reshuffling of WRs week to week. The only unacceptable loss this year is Miami. You can make a case for NE more than Atlanta imo. NE was at home. 11 league sanctioned penalties. Other than that, I still think there is reason to be confident we can make a run. Then I see the injuries and I’m like, just get me to the off season I’m so over this ***t.
