  1. Past hour
  2. What complexity ? Our offense plays in the 1st 5 yards from the scrimmage....It is throwing to RBs, slants to all the WRs or bubble screens...The only guy who catches anything downfield have been Kincaid and Knox.
  3. Yup I’m leaning towards mortgaging the future. What’s the point in hanging onto all the future selections just to build mediocrity? I know this is not their intent, but it is what they’ve gotten out of their early draft investments so you might as well invest them into a more sure talent even if it costs more now, and makes things trickier down the road. The cap just keeps going up. Win a superbowl or two and worry about it when the time comes. It worked for the Rams. Sold their souls, won the Lombardi, bottomed out briefly and nailed some draft investments when they had to rely on a youth movement and they’re right back at it. The Bills should be no different although it seems like Beane is mostly concerned about maintaining the standard even if it means sacrificing the ability to bring in elite talents via trade or FA
  4. This is his 2024 stats: GPRECTGTSYDSAVGTDLNGFDFUMLST 17 87 133 1,282 14.7 10 85 53 0 0 I will take him in a heart beat...ship Davis and a 2nd round pick to them for Brian.
  5. I have family in 4 different countries. They aren’t libs or maga. Every single one is shocked at how stupid and gullible Americans are to worship a pedo.
  6. By far the best player on that list is Diggs, whom we traded a pick for. Everyone else is average at best.
  7. I'm pretty sure he can swallow his pride but it's been pretty clear over the last couple of years he for whatever reason doesn't value a #1WR as much as most GM's do.
  8. And yet this is what good leaders do. I am not excusing his tirade on the morning show BUT: A good leader supports their staff, sells the future and delivers confidence in their players. At the same time they admit failure and reflect honestly when they’re wrong. If Beane came out and said “we were counting on our guys to develop into XYZ and we haven’t been able to get there, so we’re looking to find ways to bring the room up to our standard” I’d respect that. People would want to play gotchya because it’s easy and as fans we don’t have to answer to anyone when we’re wrong…we just like calling it out publicly when others are. If tmrw they traded for BTJ and won the Super Bowl would ppl be calling for a stock and quarter of Beane because he looked silly? Nahhh man it’s business. You take chances, you redeem the rewards if good movements and you know when to take your losses.
  9. Oh, I'm certain he will be given every opportunity to fail upwards. It's the Sabres' way under present ownership. I was really just saying UPL is not a tradeable commodity given his contract. Levi may end up being an AHL star that can't make the jump. Aside from a twenty game stretch when UPL played well, he's been a subpar goalie, and KA rewarded him with a big contract. I have more hope in the alternatives, but that isn't saying much.
  10. Between a rookie that missed camp and one of Poyer, Cam Lewis, or another rookie that missed a ton of time at safety Andy Dalton looks poised to have a nice game.
  11. I really can't fault him for that. This is a business after all. What favors would he be doing himself or his team if he's getting hung out to dry? Dillon Gabriel got 3 of receivers washed - 2 out with concussions a week or 2 ago.
  12. You mean pink pills and rumors of cutting him before his first practice?
  13. What is it about the 1st that you are hesitant to part with? The last few years: Hairston Kincaid Elam Groot Oliver Edumnds Diggs* multiple trade backs for Coleman* Two of these players have been extended as keystone pieces of the team, 1 traded away, 1 allowed to walk, and 3 who it’s unfair to judge at this point…and one absolute home run coming via trade. I am not saying that BTJ would be Diggs, but if your argument is getting a cost controlled player, he has 3.5 years left w/ 5th year option that are already negotiated. I think we value our future selections in drafts way more than they’re worth.
  14. It's become clear just how bad the defense is. It was bad when healthy and has only become worse after injuries. There isn't a path to improvement at safety which was a major red flag going into the season, was essentially unaddressed, and it's going to continue to be a major issue. The run defense is indescribably terrible despite massive investment into said defense in the off-season. The pass defense is making zero plays and often looks unprepared and out of position. Every other team seems to be able to cause chaos with blitzes. Ours are easily seen, picked up, and exploited most of the time. The offense, on the other hand, is either intentionally playing with one hand behind its back to manage load and keep things off tape or is run by a person who is hell bent on doing things for the sake of doing them (handing off to TEs/playing Elijah Moore at all/not having Cook on the field for any 3rd downs/force feeding Coleman/no 6 OL run sets, etc) or intentionally does not put his best players on the field or put them into the best positions to succeed. Essentially all of the things I was worried about coming into the year are showing themselves to be major problems and there are no solutions at this point in the year. They just need to deal with it. They'll probably make the playoffs but they won't beat anyone they need to beat in January. You mentioned the Colts. You don't think that Jonathan Taylor would run for like 200 yards and 4 TDs on this defense? They'd get worked by the Chiefs again. Hell, right now they can't beat New England reliably.
  15. I mean, when he ####s up at least he can run fast. Love Tre for Tre, but he’s toast… repeatedly burnt toast.
  16. "I want our picks back...all of them! And I want David Goddamn Putney just because I feel like it!" Maybe Beane should call up the new Jags GM and say "So, are you looking to make a deal, you pancake eatin' mofo??" 😂😂😂
  17. if it’s that the kid hates tlaw, and isn’t a product of the new regime…. It could be much simpler and about trying to set culture it’s a rookie head coach. He had his best games with the backup qb ”I don’t respect these guys and I’m not letting that loser get me killed- trade me” could be the behind closed doors sentiment that a guy new to leadership may be interested in stepping away from
  18. I said it...no way she would have stood pat.
  19. Considering Clayton only had 55 targets.. and Brian Thomas Jr has 55 targets and less yards than what Clayton had on 55 targets... But if it's 7 yd it shows Target for Target they're right there Brian Thomas Jr is getting more chances in year two.. listen he was phenomenal last year nobody would want to give up a 22 year old wide receiver playing like that.. in my mind there just has to be something up
  20. Beane will never do a deal like this after the Diggs trade and the little tirade he had when he was questioned about the WR room that off season He would have to own up to his failure to get Josh a premier wideout that he should absolutely have
  21. I swear to god, if he allows a catch on the first drive I’m burning something down
  22. Clayton also dealt with a ton of injuries after his rookie year. The comparison is meh
  23. The guy literally forced his way out and you'd take him back?
  24. I do still have to push back on the Clayton thing. Again, that's an anomaly. Even with his horrific start, he's on pace for 886yds, which I would still categorize it as a sophomore slump. Clayton never even cracked 500yds, after his rookie season . Thomas already has more than what Clayton did in his entire 2nd year. I think we are far off before we can make that comparison.
