  1. Past hour
  2. Honestly I think Brady had that game right not running cook too much…the ne linebackers are just run stuffers and they’re vulnerable to TEs in the passing game/josh scrambles. Really isn’t a good matchup for NE imo but if the bills go -2 in turnover differential again they can certainly lose. If they don’t the bills win this one pretty comfortably that pats fan poster was like ‘oh we will simply stop the running game and Kincaid’ but what makes them good at slowing down the run hurts them at stopping the bills tight ends. Really don’t think they’ll be able to do both especially with the injuries and they really didn’t even stop both last time…Kincaid was over 100 yards receiving and Josh ripped off some big runs
  3. What station are you on? Sometime when I switch to a 4k channel on satellite I’ll get no announcers but everyone else has them
  4. Yes, and every play does not need to be analyzed or broken down. We don't need to know the details of a three yard run on 2nd down.
  5. The unvaxed numbers were always around 5% in our country until about 2020, since then it has raised to 7%. If you think that 40% increase is the primary reason responsible for a 1400% increase in cases then we can't have a reasonable discussion. A few facts according to the CDC Data from a 2017 study notes that in the U.S., about 38% of imported cases were foreign visitors, while 62% were U.S. residents returning from travel abroad. I will make one other point to you because I made an effort to find the story in 1983 the US had 97% of counties have 0 cases but one county in FL had 93 cases in the first half of the year centered around a migrant camp. If you don't recognize the primary issue as immigration of non immunized people then I can't help you. Truly your argument is now based entirely on "trust me bro" https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/preview/mmwrhtml/00000139.htm
  6. Announcers just need to “let the game breathe” as I like to call it. Allow the game to come to you (the commentator), don’t force words just to fill empty space. There’s nothing wrong with a bit of silence during a broadcast. But these guys are apparently instructed to babble on incessantly, because they ALL do it. Not to mention the inane useless sideline reporter coach interviews at halftime or post game. The situation with Justin Herbert after the Monday night football game the other night with Laura Rutledge. It’s a perfect example that these guys don’t care to do these pointless interviews immediately after a game. And they also aren’t interesting or educational to the fans. It’s the same unnecessary question with the milqtoast response from the athlete.
  7. The guardian caps are optional for players to wear during the season. In preseason and practices the oline and dline are required to wear them, plus running backs and tight ends, I think. Many players will wear them for awhile coming off a concussion. I think they should make it mandatory for a player to wear them for two or three weeks after they come back from a concussion, if not the entire rest of the season. Players think they look dumb, so they don't like them.
  8. Announcers have gotten terrible. Maybe i’m in the minority, but i hate when Tony Romo does all of our Chiefs games. Better than Collinsworth I guess? But i think the NFL said something to Romo because he’s not as great as he was his first couple years. He’s just a caricature of himself now. Oh how i miss John Madden
  9. Heck, I’ll take a repeat of that 33-21 regular season victory up in Foxboro. That was a big win for the Bills and this may be their biggest in season division game since. Yeah, that 33-21 game in Foxboro is the closer parallel here. Gabe Davis and Cole Beasley both tested positive for COVID the day before the game and couldn't play. The Bills were super aggressive on 4th down, which was pretty knew for McDermott at the time. Isaiah McKenzie had his best game as a Bill that day. Diggs caught a TD late and pointed out a bunch of pats one by one and then told them all "f*** you".
  10. First of all, not every player who enters the NFL becomes a star right away. Some take years to learn and develop; that's just the way it is, so all this talk of what a bum Keon Coleman is as a second-round pick is lame. Some Bills fans here talk like he was a top ten pick, and even those don't always pan out. Some have mentioned Eric Moulds, a first-round pick (#24) who took three years to start shining. In his first two seasons, he had less than 300 yards receiving each year. Then boom, a few 1k seasons. In regard to Diggs, the guy was a diva in the Bills locker room and wanted every pass thrown his way. When that didn't happen, he had a bad attitude and hissy fits. The guy was great at first in Buffalo, and few DBs could contain him as he would literally juke them outta their cleats. As time went on, he wasn't as good against the better defenses and would earn his yards against the lesser teams. Then came the playoffs, and he became invisible. in 2020, he had 1535 yards, 8 TDs. In the playoffs that year, against the Colts, 128 yards, 1 TD. Against the Ravens, 106 yards, 1 TD. Against the Chiefs, 77 yards. In 2021, he had 1225yards, 10 TDs. In the playoffs that year, against the Patriots, 60 yards. Against the Chiefs, 6 targets, 3 receptions for 7 yards!!!! POOF In 2022, he had 1429 yards, 11 TDs. In the playoffs that year, against the Dolphins 114 yards. Against the Bengals, 10 targets, 4 receptions for 45 yards!!! POOF In 2023, he had 1183 yards, 8 TDs. In the playoffs that year, against Pittsburgh 9 targets, 7 receptions for 52 yards. against the Chiefs, 8 targets, 3 receptions for 21 yards!!! POOF So, basically, in the biggest games of the season where his play mattered the most, he disappeared. There was a real reason as to why Brandon Beane had the team eat 31 million in money charges.
  11. It would be the best if they just had a calm voice announce the down and distance and then the result of the play. Nothing else. I would absolutely love that. Then show important replays with no voice over at all. Just show it from different angles and in slow motion, etc. Gosh, I would love that.
  12. I remember a lot of whining during the SB years.
  13. Damn. I got excited by your original post. Turned the game on, and these guys are yapping away. 😞
  14. They held Cook to that few yards in part because Brady inexplicably took him out in crunch time. Unilateral disarmament.
  15. I have announcers but what I would like is for our local cbs affiliate to remove the constant weather update taking up 1/3 of the screen. It’s almost 2026 bruh we have phones and internet and if not we can look out the window. We know it’s snowing.
  16. Listed at 76,000, since it's a track & field stadium, has to be a certain size to fit a 400m track around the field. One of the most spectacular and technically complex construction operations in recent Canadian history is underway in Montreal. The city’s iconic Olympic Stadium — famous for its distinctive roof and monumental tower — is undergoing a major modernization designed to prepare the structure for decades of future use. Sounds like Prepping to host NFL games there.
  17. .........for me, it's usually only when Collinsworth is covering a KC game
  18. Bosa is playing. Might be on a pitch count
  19. At least a "no Collinsworth" option.
  20. Is it that big? I saw the Expos in their last year there. Didn't feel that way.
  21. I went car hunting yesterday (i hate it), but here's the conversation between me and the Toyota sales guy after i test drove a car..... me: alright, i like it, so let's sit down and throw some numbers around.......maybe a little negotiating sales guy: oh, i don't negotiate........the price of the car, is the price of the car. Toyota's basically sell themselves me: okay, whatever, buddy sales guy: okay, so you're going to need this and this and that and some of that and don't forget the sales tax and the tax for this and the tax for that and here's your final number me: yeah, i don't like that......if you can drop that price down a little bit and give me a little something better, then i'll sign the paperwork today sales guy: no me: no?.......just no sales guy: the tires are no good, i'll give you that, so i'm throwing in new tires. me: yeah but, you have to throw in tires anyways cause you need them to pass the safety inspection sales guy: yeah but, i'm giving you good tires and these cost $700 me: $700 per tire? sales guy: $700 for all four.......they are Toyo, top of the line me: i don't want Toyo.......i want Michelin sales guy: oh no, those tires are too good, so you'll get Toyo me: alright, i think we're done here........i'm headed over to Honda sales guy: Honda?.......those guys don't know how to treat their customers me: okay, i'm going to let you in on a little secret here, guy........we both know that the buyer always loses when buying a used car, it's no big secret. The customer just wants to feel that they've won something, we both know they don't, but they just want to walk away feeling like they did and not even willing to negotiate over a few dollars or give the customer at least a little satisfaction that they made a good deal is heinous sales guy: well, maybe we can put you into a car that's a little more in your price bracket me: you don't even know my price bracket sales guy: i'm starting to suspect your price bracket me: i'm starting to suspect that i should have started my day at Honda.........i'm out sales guy: okay, here's the deal of the day......i'll take out the tires and you can save yourself $700 me: but, you still need the tires for the safety inspection which comes out of your pocket, not mine. The cost of the safety certification is yours sales guy: ???????????????? me: ???????????? sales guy: ????????????? me: ........i'm going to Honda
  22. Heck, I’ll take a repeat of that 33-21 regular season victory up in Foxboro. That was a big win for the Bills and this may be their biggest in season division game since.
  23. It's great to bump these covid threads every now and then watch all the scientific illiterates put their "expertise" on display. Always good for a laugh. If covid gave us anything it's the unlimited license for anyone to be an expert on any topic under the sun just by saying so.
  24. The Patriots haven't been great running the ball, but have been great moving the ball. The Bills are not going to slow them down. A snow game had me worried but that looks like it'll be over hours before kickoff. NE will score in the 30's. On D they'll focus on Cook and Kincaid, and force Allen to find his WR's. They held Cook to 49 yards the last time and feel they can do it again. Force a few punts and this game will be theirs.
