The local people would feed the deer and they were basically tame. They had signs saying don't feed the wildlife. One woman would take a wagon out on the trails and scatter food for them. They caught her several times and fined her. They finally had to lock her up for a month or so to get her to stop. I was walking down one of the trails once in the winter and a doe and fawn passed by me at a distance of maybe 10 feet. They were close enough to smell them. They looked at me and just kept on strolling by.

You're never going to go from a 4.5 to a 4.3 in the pros but you can definitely shave a few hundreds of a second off .. you can absolutely improve your burst and acceleration and some top speed I was at a high school football camp over a decade ago where DK was running in the 4.6s... 3 years later after ole Miss he was 4.3s

Not one RB drafted or undrafted FA signed

The daft should never be about getting a hodge podge of players at almost every position. I cannot imagine a successful team ever doing that, just making sure they get one of these, one of those, and that position--even when it is not a need, and does not address a weak area related to starting position or needed depth. If Beane did that he would need to look in the mirror when he used the word "dumb". The draft should be about sharply improving those areas, as needed. And when you have clear and obvious needs, go at it hard and well--and consistently. Just like the Bills did with cornerbacks and the defensive line. The Bills already have one of the best running back groups in the entire league, with a super fast, young dynamic superstar with great vision, toughness and receiving ability, an MJD clone bowling ball backup who looked fantastic last year when given the opportunity, and "the best third down back in the league" ++ They got the best players they can get to turn the weak areas into strong areas, and using all extra draft capital to make it happen. That is exactly what they did, and it just happens to be exactly what I wanted, called for. So, Beane is a genius! 4 of their draft picks were mocked to different teams--in the first round. I have never seen anything even close to that in all my years as a Bills fan. Looks like a master class in drafting. Soon we will start to see if it's also one in scouting. I am thinking it will be. -

I never had a favorite song until this past February 5th, when I wrote this song for my wife who had passed away the day before. It was supposed to be a sad country song (at least that's how it sounded in my head). Now full disclosure, I am not any kind of musician or singer, so I had to use an AI program to provide the musical talent. So anyway, this is how it turned out https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=XViTSIRpak4&si=gdVEFygnBD2OLvy6 -
What is the Bills fan offseason narrative if Zay Flowers doesn't get injured in that season finale? Or if Andrews catches that conversion and the Ravens then end up completing their comeback as the Bills offense sputtered? The Bills needed some really favorable events to escape that divisional round home game with a win. If they lose that game the story is probably the offense.......not the defense that carried the day creating turnovers.

I hear you and I’m definitely not advocating OBD roster builds with solely or even primarily the Chiefs in mind. Still, I think if the Chiefs signed Moore, then I’d be disappointed about the very real possibility he gets unlocked there, and that is just a little bit further support for why I like the signing, which I really do. -

Jeff Ulbrich is a huge douchebag. Firing Saleh and promoting him was a step down, and that's saying something because Saleh was a true meathead. Not the least bit surprising Ulbrich has a kid who is enough of a dumbass to do this AND apparently not realize he was going to get caught. -

Bills Offseason moves to date & Projected Roster

After the draft is signed the Bills currently have 85 players. Need to round out some things for camp. I see another TE (maybe Morris if he is not signed by anyone else). One more RB. Go to camp with 6. One more OL. I would like to see a camp leg kicker (not sure if they think the same way). One more LB. That would make 90. -

One throwback I would definitely love to see is that basic Bengals look from the 70’s. Never liked the current set with the varicose veined pumpkin for a helmet. It’s okay if they were sponsored by a strip club. -
