Miami isn't as bad as people think. The Titans and Raiders are trainwrecks
-
Very odd - they still have the Steelers twice, plus @Cinci in a couple weeks. Were the NFL drunk when they made Baltimore’s 2025 schedule?

Black Friday Game Thread (no Bills stuff please)

A little off topic but I myself am in awe with what Jerra did with that Cowboy roster....and I am no Cowboy fan. If they get in the playoffs, they gonna make me some money. They are gonna make things miserable for the other NFC teams. -

That division will probably be won with a 9-8 record. Ravens can afford to lose two more games and still win the division in all likelihood. That's why if the Bengals win their next game, the game against us, they will probably be the favorite to win the division with how easy the rest of their schedule is. Will just come down to beating the Ravens once again. For us it just sucks basically having zero opportunity to win the division. -

Everyone knows that you get those in the summer. You must be confused. -
Thanks for updating. Yes when I checked "The Athletic's" playoff calculator it said between 35-42% chance. I assumed the range has to do with the outcome of other games.

I just assumed he was gay like the other guy the girl dated.

I think the only matchup that can even keep this game competitive is Ben Johnson vs Nick Sirianni -
Bills were in this position (6-6) a couple years ago. Bills won out and took the division. There is no division winning option for the Chiefs unless the Broncos should collapse harder than the Dolphins did that year. With the three wild card teams having four losses, even winning out doesn't guarantee them a spot. They lose head-to-head tie breakers with the Jags and Bills and I'm not sure how tiebreakers would look with the Chargers should the two teams end tied at 11-6. I'll be rooting for a Texans victory over the Chiefs next week but if that doesn't happen, a Texans loss will at least go a long way in helping secure the Bills a wild card spot.

I think it would be miraculous if KC won all their remaining home games given the state of their OL.

Go undefeated against what might be the league's hardest remaining schedule just to make the playoffs? I don't think I'd rather be in that boat.

Welp, the Eagles are - 7 BUT the O/U is 44.5 so Vegas is not predicting a high scoring game. I don't expect a Bears win but could def. see a fairly close 3-4 pt. win by Philly, so the Bears +7 is tempting. However, my gut says Philly's gonna score at will. 34- 10. -

True, but I think I would rather be the Ravens as they have a very, very doable path to the division, whereas we do not. -
Iron and Tin are both metals right?

I was thinking the same thing. Browns D will give us fits like the Texans

Miami was supposed to be an auto-win for us and how'd that turn out?

Maybe Aiyuk can workout with Keon. I feel like Aiyuk wasn't jewelry shopping at Macy's. I agree with your take and would add that Pegula likes both halves of McBeane, and that he doesn't want to de-stabilize the front office in advance of the new stadium. However nothing lasts forever and the heat has definitely been turned up on this situation. As I pointed out, the Miami loss was the first time in this administration that the majority of fans and media became skeptics and doubters. This group now outnumbers the supporters. It would be interesting to re-visit this discussion after a possible Bills collapse. Could the Bills lose in Pittsburgh playing against TJ Watt without Dawkins and Spencer? Easily. Could the Bills lose to a resurgent Cincinnati team with Joe Burrow at the helm? In this scenario the Bills will have lost 4 of their last 5 and be in jeopardy of missing the playoffs. Things could change very quickly. It hasn't come up in this discussion that McDermott and Beane both report directly and separately to Pegula... which means that on the organizational chart, McDermott is not Beane's boss nor visa versa. While McDermott got here first, Beane occupies what is typically thought of as the higher position so that's a wash. But in terms of organizational structure they are essentially co-equals. In good times, it'll be "all for one and one for all" but in a collapse scenario could it turn into "each man for himself?" Being as they both have the owner's ear, there is a scenario where their organizational survival morphs into a Bill Cowher/Tom Donahoe power struggle. I'm not saying it will happen but it could happen.
