  1. Past hour
  2. Could be mistaken for a dart, which could take an eye out! Definitely a fine.
  3. The bribery investigation explains a lot to me. I expected Homan to be nominated as DHS Secretary. Well ... that is obviously a position requiring Senate confirmation, and the then-ongoing investigation would've been a bit awkward for him to say the least. So create an uber-Border Czar position for him to exercise the same policy leadership without the need for all that messy stuff. Disgusting that people would think that a guy who took $50K cash in a Cava fast food takeout bag should have any place in public life.
  4. Yup, Hoecth is better than a lot of people realize. Its like when signed Micah Hyde and so many here didn't think much of it. I kept saying Hyde was a lot better than people think and GB fans were upset they lost him. I feel similar with Hoecht, and they are going to love and use his versatility a lot here. He may not put up gaudy stats given he will be part of a rotation, but I suspect people are not going to be starting threads like "Is Hoecth even playing" because they haven't seen or felt his impact. I think what a lot of people are overlooking with the defensive concerns (not that the concerns aren't valid, because they have had some issues) - is that we have been without our #1 draft pick and critical speed in our secondary so far, Oliver and Milano have missed games, and we have been without our 2 FA's on suspension, both of which will be critical rotational guys and good players for this team. Now add in rookies have had to drink from the fire hose a bit to start the season due to suspensions and injuries upfront, and its not hard to see where potential improvement can come from as the season goes on. The D is giving up 15 ppg since getting dog walked 3 1/2 quarters against Balt. And they had some 3rd down issues against a desperate Miami team. But, still its 15 PPG against 2 divisional opponents, one of which (Jets) put up a ton of points the week before the played us, and the other is what is supposed to be powerhouse offense loaded with speed. I don't personally think much of the Jets, but I mean GB just lost to the Browns this week, KC struggled to do much against the Giants until the Giants let Russel Wilson just lose the game for them, etc. Bills are handling their business and without FIVE key defensive players, 2 of which are amongst their best players, 2 of which were key FA signigns, and the other our top overall draft pick. Dont get me wrong, I am in a need to see it to believe mode with the D come playoff time. But I am only pointing out reasons for optimism this year. Now add in that guys like Bosa and Walker are looking like guys capable of making that extra 1 or 2 stops a game that have been our kryptonite for not having in most of our playoff exits, especially the last 3 KC losses which were all games we lost by 1 score.
  5. I have heard a lot of pundits and fans say that this will look like a much better D once we get everyone back. i have my doubts. I think our core guys are out there, and it’s not getting any better.
  6. Marco Rubio has pretty much shot to the top of my leader board for hopeful next President.
  7. Carter? He’s out for the year and was trending toward being bust before the injury
  8. Your points are all valid balln. We don't stop the run consistently. Its been like that for awhile now. And they can't sack the QB. Very frustrating. And we give up so much in the flats. Is it scheme or just guys being slow and not reading plays quick enough? I was watching the NFL games yesterday, and I will say that Cleveland has an excellent defense. They get after the QB and are relentless. And the Giants athleticism on the edge with Burns Thibodeaux and now Carter who they drafted from Penn State is ridiculous. We have noone close to that. That we gave Rousseau all that money is concerning. For whatever reason the Bills do not get anyone who is twitchy playing D Line. Heck, I would love to have a guy like George Karloftis, who may not be twitchy, but is tough and can make plays off the edge.
  9. The biggest determinant is the first and second year players developing over the course of the year. Cole bishop , tj sanders , walker , max, Hancock , maybe strong. I don’t think Landon is gonna do anything this year - I doubt he’s developing at all not dressing/playing. I don’t think Carter is coming back or doing anything anyway with an Achilles injury. It’s on these guys making a difference. IMO. While I’m hopeful- realistically I don’t think they and our D coaches will affect all time greats Pat Mahommes / Andy or Lamar. Or hurts or Stafford / Mcvay. When it matters
  10. I didn't watch this in real time, and I've just been poking around the main clips. Takeaway: Erika Kirk and Marco Rubio deeply understand the message of the New Testament. Stephen Miller and Donald Trump are purely Old Testament.
  11. Just to be clear, Hoecht and Ogunjobi are both suspended for the first six games. And Carter is out for the season. This aside, I definitely think there’s room for their defense to get better as the season progresses, if the injury bug can subside and the younger players show growth.
  12. Turning Point put the entire event together. Planned, produced and paid for.
  13. I never started listening to their albums until recently. in high school (late 90s) lots of kids used to like them where I went too school. Even had Wu Gear a number of them. I thought it was ironic as well it was a pretty suburban school I went too. I saw their music then largely as too in your face and hood if you will. But over the years on his own Method Man seemed a pretty good and funny guy what I learned about him. So yeah digging into their catalogue, I can definitely listen to it. Not a huge fan but I can f with it so to speak.
  14. This is fan talk. The teams never seen things like this.
  15. And the Broncos could have (should have) beaten the Chargers. Other than those two things, it really is the best possible scenario after Week 3!
  16. Yup - And not only fitting with the new stadium - but Josh is the reigning MVP, Josh is a newlywed, Marv just turned 100, etc. Would literally be a storybook ending in a number of ways. And quite honestly, this is probably the best roster top to bottom (especially considering depth) we have had in the Allen era. Its not perfect, but I can't think of another season where the overall Bills roster would be classified as better since Allen came into the NFL. There has been a lot of concern about the D, but its giving up 15 ppg since the week 1 dog walking they took through 3 1/2 quarters, and that has been without its #1 draft pick, Ed Oliver, Milano and our 2 suspended players who are better than I think some people think. Of course, it has just been the Jets and Miami, and they have still had their moments of crapping the bed (like on 3rd down too many times against Miami), but thats again been without several key starters and players. And the Bills schedule should give this unit plenty of opportunities to gel, gain confidence, and grow as a unit without too many concerning games. Bosa is playing like the guy we have been missing in the postseason that just needs to help facilitate one more stop in that final game to get over the hump. And quite frankly, so has rookie DT Walker. If our front 7 can get stronger as we get healthy and get guys back from suspension, its going to make life easier on our weakest group, the safeties. And while its just been Jets and Miami, Cole has at least shown some signs of hope. Still a long ways to go, but maybe as the unit gets stronger and gels more his development will keep increasing.
  17. That's typically the way it works especially considering McD's defense is predicted more than any other on everyone doing their job and playing their role properly to succeed and that we will be getting significant reinforcements back by week 7. Hoecht is going to be a chess piece moved all over the place...that dude is a freak
  18. That's a smart idea
  19. This could be a very strange game considering that point spread. Hopefully, the Bills players don't think that all they need to do is show up, and it's a win. No NFL win is easy, as they are professional players, and this will be their Super Bowl...like it was for the smelly Dolphins.
  20. I find it interesting that both Bosa and Daquan are grading in the top 5 of their positions, and Ed was #1 for the game he played, Groot is in the top 20. Behind them tho, our secondary looks less than a top crew. The only back 7 players who are grade above the midpoint at their position are Taron and Tre White. Benford has had a huge fall off. I think any team with a lot of speed at RB and WR is going to give us problems unless the coaches find a fix.
  21. Have you read the Bible? Seriously not trying to be a smart ass. But if you had, you would know how many broken people held prominent positions in the early churches. God isn’t looking for only perfect people to follow him. He accepts EVERYONE!!! Poor, rich, black, white. It doesn’t matter. We are all made in the image of GOD!! We are all his children. The broken souls on PPP are hurting. They need love, compassion and kindness to bring them back together. The battle between good and evil is already over. The only question left is, which side do you want to be on in the end?
  22. It must improve for the Bills to have a prayer in the playoffs. In particular, the D-line looks to be a mess but with signs of hope on the horizon. * Michael Hecht showed some flashes in pass rush and the ability to effectively set an edge during the preseason. This should help Bosa. * The Bills young d tackles should improve. * I assume we will soon get a look at at Landon Jackson soon. * Javon Solomon has been a non factor and will likely be inactive when suspended players return. * Hopefully Ed Oliver returns to form without a nagging injury.
