  2. Has Beane neglected WR? Of course he has. That’s not really debatable. We can look at asset allocation and come to that conclusion pretty easily. Has it hurt their offense is a different conversation. It’s also a different conversation from the best 32 WRs in football. That’s this thread. I shared the top 25 under 25 a day or two earlier. Did that get your panties in a bunch too? There was no intent on that being about the Bills either. Yes, they did have a player on that list. These are the things discussed in May. Don’t project as if you know my intent. My intent was to spark conversation on PFF’s list. That’s what has been going on. Guess what, there will be more of these threads coming as they release them. Read through the thread if you want to participate. Who do you think is too high? Too low? If you don’t want to engage on the topic. Don’t. Don’t come here and try to derail it though. Thanks in advance
  3. It works so well foir the Eagles because: 1) Although he doesn't look that much the part, Jalen Hurts is a monster in the weight room. He is super strong and is very tough to stop. 2) Watch the replays and look at that offensive line. They are crushing defenders. Defense are smaller these day because it is more of a passing league. I have seen Landon Dickerson push defenders three yards or more into the endzone. I could have scored a TD on some of those plays. OK I would be in either the hospital or morgue upon completion but you get my point. I think it is good for the game. If other teams want to do this, nothing is stopping them from concentrating more on blockers on draft day.Barkley is great, but he didn't get those yards on his own. He had a great, physical OL in front of him. If the Bills were utilizing this play as well as the Eagles the fans cheering would be deafening, and I would be leading the chorus. Jmo.
  4. Between Hard Knocks and the Hallmark movie, the script is in. Bills are winning the SB this season.
  5. Promote? The world is a vicious and brutal place when it is controlled by evil men.
  6. That should be your avatar when it comes to the Bills' offense, Beane's neglect of it, and the Bills' wide receivers. Yes, and I apologize, as of course, that (see italics) was not your intention. Just sharing, with no intent to make this about the Bills' offense. Definitely not.
  7. Yes - Fitz threw a 98 yarder to TO in 2009, later matched by Josh to Gabe, also a 98 yarder in 2022
  8. Reliably without a thesaurus.
  9. On the supply rates, having a fixed rate absolutely will lead to consistency on the supply portion of your bill.
  10. I was not anti-vax during COVID. I chose the J&J in 2021 and then Novavax after it came out. I just did not trust the mRNA ones and it is starting to look like my intuition was valid. If COVID turns about to be connected to triggering autoimmune diseases as some scientist are currently researching, then we just gave millions of people a lifetime of sickness. When they made a clause waiving liability on Pfizer and Moderna for ten years right as they were released, that was a huge red flag for me.
  11. PFF is releasing lists of the best players by position in the NFL. Why would this not be on here? Before you say, “this is a Bills message board,” it it nestled between threads on Jim Irsay, Marvin Harrison Jr. Fred Warner and Brock Purdy. It is for discussion!! It’s May!! These are the things that are discussed on here this time of year. I get it. You’re one of those guys that’s sticks your fingers in your ears and goes “La la la la la, I can’t hear you” if you don’t like what’s being said. You’re the one making this about the Bills offense. If you don’t like the conversation, don’t join in!! You’re projecting. Yes, the Bills are bad at WR. No one expected them to have guys on the list. That’s not the conversation. It is about the best receivers in football. My suggestion is that you start a thread on Strong vs. Ingram or Hancock vs. Cam Lewis for roster spots. Those topics interests you. Instead of whining, expend your energy on things you care about.
  12. Agreed. I truly hope he’s found peace as addictions can wear a person out in unimaginable ways. The problem with that wealth is you have no one to tell you you’re going off a cliff. I’m sure he has a succession plan, and he was a good owner. He always cared about his players.
  13. Today
  14. LOL at Miami and New England. Hope we score two TDs via rush push in each game against them.
  15. 65 is way too young nowadays. Sucks
  16. Let me guess... The Bills have no players in their list? I am sure that is NOT why this is posted, why it is a thread. Could have just cut to the chase in the OP for what will likely be the dominant line of thinking for a group of posters, and just posted some variation of this at the outset, to save a lot of time (and wasted space, repeating and repeating and repeating...): I cannot believe how Beane neglects this offense...(fire him, fire him, fire him...) leaves our superstar quarterback with almost no good weapons... and almost nothing at wide receiver... the Bills' offense may suck this coming year as much as they did last year (is that even possible?)... Josh again will just be throwing balls down the field to phantom wide receivers, balls bouncing harmlessly on the turf, over and over... Brandon Beane must be fired, and not just now, years ago...we need a time machine, as that way we can prevent the offensive collapse that wrecked the Bills last season...(Doc Brown, can you help us out?) Poor, poor [MVP} Josh... All the other AFC contenders have far superior offenses, talent, the Bills are not in the same league... Most neglected, talentless offense in the NFL, maybe in NFL history... 2025: worst offense ever?
  17. Milano is my favorite Bill. I think a part of that is he somehow stays mysterious and off the grid in a world where that’s nearly impossible
  18. So if he was so dead set against it on the grounds of player safety, the Bills won't use it this year? To use it would seem hypocritical if the argument was player safety.
  19. agreed. but trading up to 22 or earlier to get him would have cost Beane a lot. in 20/20 hindsight, of course it may have been worth it. We'll see how Coleman does this year;
  20. I think this is the worst of ideas. I hate it with every fiber of my being.
  21. Probably true in most cases, but not in my family. We’re drinkers, smokers, reckless & carefree and damn near centurion's. Quality German stock. HEIL!
  22. I disagree. People just chalked his rookie year up to bad coaching. I think the combination of his performance in the Rams Super Bowl and then the Rams trading him for Matt Stafford who they immediately won the Super Bowl with turned him into an average QB at best is burned in people's minds. They accredit his success to being in a QB friendly Ben Johnson offense. I was thinking Alex Smith 2.0 but Matt Ryan is pry the better comparison.
  23. Punt God didn’t play 1 season.
  24. You never know what goes on behind the scenes. Goodell could've promised him no Holiday games if he leads the charge to get this eyesore banned because horrible TV means less eyes in the long run. If you want to go the non cynical route, McDermott saw what happened in the NFC Championship and the Redskins keep trying to jump the count at the one yard line. It looked like an eye sore and you can see the potential for injury there with them trying to leap over lineman before the ball is even snapped. They could've easily went helmet to helmet with Hurts. The NFL has always been a reactive league so he's basically worried that if they don't ban it here will be a catastrophic injury on the play down the road. That's what it seemed like to me based on how he's answered the questions at the last owners meaning. Even though we benefit from the tush push.
  25. Sherman Cocroft. 😁 Imagine being so bad that he was replaced by Bruce freaking Mathison, another winner. It amazes me to this day that Frank Reich only threw one pass his rookie year in 1985 with those two in front of him. Then again, I can’t remember if Reich was injured or not.
