I made a thread on him a few weeks ago Certainly still a long way from the NFL.. because you never know how kids grow over 3 to 5 years .. there's a lot of late bloomers at running back and high injury rates Goes to a school like Ohio State he might be buried on the bench for years might never actually crack the starting lineup He would be better off at a school like Kansas or Syracuse or Indiana His talent is tremendous tho ... The area hasn't had a blue chip running back like that in a while

Just a guess here, but the Calvinist stress on literacy strongly connects it to the idealized version of a republican citizen. The school house is such an American thing, and it was very Protestant in origin. Through the New England churches local governmental decisions were argued over and voted on. Self government. Though other colonies had less democratic colonial governments, I know. The historical narrative of a fight against the great centralized power of Rome, which inspired many to even greater flights of freedom from Calvinism itself which was a continuing drama in American Protestantism. So that legacy inspired. Federalism is many ways reflects the way Protestant churches were themselves organized. I think Calvinism strongly influenced the ideas behind republicanism. Let’s remember the first great awakening had already taken place, and it reflected so many issues in religion that were fought over for secular reasons later, freedom of thought and freedom to organize as many saw fit. So Calvinism was “relaxed” by 1788, but its influence in many ways weighed on the founders, imo

What does "Complementary Football" mean in Bills Coachspeak?
Chaos replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think most fans understand the offense has been mismanaged for several years. -
Let's Go Brandin? Oh wait... No, never mind... Seriously, never say that again... I just threw out my keyboard.

Because Bllls cannot gain much traction passing , I am starting to lose interest. Brady might do well to go back to heavy sets , running and passing to the TEs. Hawes says hello. all 3 RBs can catch and Shakir was playing very well. Brady and Co seemed to have either overthought week to week or situational ball. Or have become confused as the the Plan Tell me again why they shifted away from that and went to empty sets ?

Fair point on the different situations and the end result for the Bills if either player reached their potential.

Seat Prices for Old Highmark Tear Down
Bob Lamb replied to Riverboat Ritchie's topic in The Stadium Wall
Seeing as Erie County and NYS taxpayers have been paying for these seats over the last 48 years - how can you charge them for refuse? More NFL greed. -
Sen. Mark Kelly Is A Great American
sherpa replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I never suggested in any way that Kelly did anything wrong When someone does something illegal, let me know. So far nothing. I certainly knew the rules, and didn't need a reminder. -
White Jerseys, Blue Pants against Pittsburgh
ScotSHO replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Reminds me of the pre-Kelly era. Not sure why they dropped the blue pants in 1986? Must have been out of fashion at the time. -

They remind me of the playoff loss to Houston ☹️ -
No brace? Please be ready for the playoffs. Go Bills!

My wife has this meal down, and now she’s mixing it up some. It may almost surpass Easter as her favorite holiday now. She just got a call from a friend from our Sarasota days. Our oldest used to babysit their kids, so we go back a while. Her friend said her son called to say how glad they were to be coming to our place again this year. We’ve done about the last 25 Thanksgivings together, and it wouldn't be the same anywhere else. Both of their “boys” are married and in their 30’s, but on Thanksgiving Day it’s just like it’s always been. It’s pretty cool.

Seat Prices for Old Highmark Tear Down
Breakout Squad replied to Riverboat Ritchie's topic in The Stadium Wall
That’s crappy they never fixed them. Season ticket holders shouldn’t have that. I only get to 1 or 2 games a year so it wouldn’t bother me much but if I’m there every game that’s shiddy. -

Shaq Lawson on the way (now reportedly signed to practice squad)
wppete replied to IBTG81's topic in The Stadium Wall
I dont mind this signing at all. We need more dogs on this defense and Shaq is that. Mean guy, bad attitude on the field who can stop the run. Hopefully this works out. -
43, 37, 59 and 61 in the first 4 years...now 9..you are right! One can assume some of these guys want out of Brady's system...so many of them not targeted or utilized. Nobody eats! They all are starving. Even Diggs starved after Brady took over. BBB spin, I'm sure

What does "Complementary Football" mean in Bills Coachspeak?
BADOLBILZ replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
In fairness........McDermott's "complementary football" phase won 24 of the next 27 meaningful regular season games. As you said, the problem was assuming that efficiency was sustainable with modest to bad passing game personnel despite seeing it fail with ball-in-hand at the end of the two Brady playoff losses. And a sh!tty offensive performance against Baltimore in a narrow home win. They drew the wrong conclusions. As did most of the fans who have pounded their fist relentlessly about the defense costing the Bills SB trips for years. Both sides of the ball have underperformed their regular season numbers by a exactly a touchdown in the elite 8 level of the playoffs since 2020 yet some fans think the offense has been on point and the defense is down -14 per game. Not the case. When your strength is the #1 difference making player in football......lean into THAT. -
I’m an eater, not a cooker. But I do help, when asked. I enjoy peeling and cutting (got about a 50% success rate getting a single apple peel for the entire apple) my wife says that the worst part so she greatly appreciates it. On top of all you do in the kitchen, I admire your pie discipline. My wife makes her own, crust and all, everyone has one chance, the rest is mine. Kids know not to take them home as part of their leftover package. It’s one of those odd years where the Thanksgiving rotation falls in favor of the “other side” for our three married kids, so we are getting together next weekend, but my wife is making a cherry, apple and pumpkin pie as we speak. We share, sort of, they’ll be pretty much gone by Monday.

Seeing as how Cooks was at practice today wearing #18, I think the Bills released Moore over Samuel just so Cooks would not have to pay him for the number.

Greg Rousseau has turned out to be a complete slug.
Billsflyer12 replied to Walking Tall's topic in The Stadium Wall
Any idea why local Bills media feel obligated to act as Bills PR? Anytime fans or outside media has any bit of criticism or concern, one of the local media write, post or say something as if it was handed to them by Bills PR to spread.
