  1. Past hour
  2. STILL GOING TO GET CUT WHY KEEP HIM ON THE 53 MAN ROSTER.
  3. So that’s pro alligator Alcatraz? Who exactly are those people? You sound like a swell guy.
  4. Cry me a river for the Fish.
  5. Correct and will be called up week 1. Beane playing 4D chess here. Daring anyone to sign someone who was cut in spite of injury depletion.
  6. Seems unlikely that Phins will repeat as AFC East September Champions in 2025-2026. It was a hell of a run for them.
  7. Who said I spoke for them? Only you, Hilly Fan. And you want to abolish the department of education.
  8. Yeah, that’s not how it works Draft Diamonds. I’m assuming this means we released him?
  9. I’m quoting this because it’s true and because I can. Don’t kid yourself, this is exactly what will happen.
  10. Bottom of the barrel emergency signing by the Dolphins who must think their secondary really sucks.
  11. Jerry Rice's fastest 40-yard dash time is reported to be 4.71 seconds. While this time is considered relatively slow for a wide receiver, especially when compared to other players in his position, it's important to note that his on-field speed and performance were exceptional, demonstrating that football speed isn't solely determined by a 40-yard dash time, according to NFL Buzz on Facebook. Here's a more detailed breakdown: Reported time: 4.71 seconds. Comparison to other WRs: Many wide receivers in the NFL run the 40-yard dash in the 4.4-4.5 second range, making Rice's time slower than average for his position. Football speed vs. 40 time: NFL Buzz on Facebook explains that football speed is about more than just the 40-yard dash. Rice's ability to accelerate, change direction, and maintain speed throughout a play, along with his route running and ability to catch passes, made him a dominant receiver despite his 40-yard dash time. Bill Walsh's perspective: Former 49ers coach Bill Walsh, who coached Rice, mentioned that while Rice's 40 time was slower than some receivers, his game film showed exceptional agility, route running, and finishing ability.
  12. It's inarguably a significant investment... we just don't know if it'll pay off yet. It's like buying a lot of stock... we don't know the ROI but that doesn't change the fact that they invested heavily. We're awaiting the return.
  13. Too bad we are 30 in the pecking order
  14. Well, I guess we disagree there. The very reason I thought he’d make the 53 is because he is a great STer who can also fill a backup role on D. He's made a couple of nice plays on special teams but I think it's a bit early to call him a great special teamer. The question is really, does another team like him better than the 5 or 6 linebackers they have on their roster based on pretty limited tape of him? Maybe, but I still think it's more likely than not that he clears waivers.
  15. They drafted a top 10 cb in 22. Who cares when?
  16. I see the in a total emergency Shenault at WR > Codrington at CB argument.... but I think I'd rather see Codrington as the return man. So you are then getting into what do you choose, better returner, or better break glass position player?
  17. I'm sure you're right, but I also suspect the gap isn't quite as large as many of us think...
  18. Yeah, looks like Codrington will stick.
  19. No only do I think he’ll be on the PS, I’m guessing if Tre can’t go week 1 he’ll be elevated and be the week 1 starter.
  20. I think the plan is to score 50 points
  21. Speak for yourself. They win one, I can enter the hereafter in football bliss.
  22. Players today know their worth. They also know they have a small window to secure their post-NFL financial futures, so they are willing to play hard ball with ownership, especially when they play positions where salaries have exploded in the last 2 or 3 years. Trubiskey looked significantly better in the pre-season than he did in Pittsburgh or even last season with the Bills. I think that the Bills roster is considerably better than many on TSW think it is, and Trubiskey helps make it better. He's highly unlikely to be able to win 5 or 6 games if Allen was out, but I think he could lead the Bills to 3 or 4 wins out of 6 games, depending upon the opponents. I don't think any team with a high caliber starting QB like Allen could ask for much more if their backup QB has to play a string of games.
  23. That may be their intention but there is no practice squad at this time and can’t be until after 4:00 today.
  24. This isn’t too surprising
  25. I didn't vote for Jesus... I don't do fictional characters... I don't care about anyone's fraudulent religion... I don't care about anyone's antiquated political ideology... I did vote for the purge that began last week... This is only the beginning... This is change I can believe in... Have a nice day...
  26. Wow, would love to check out some or your previous posts now!! Nothing like seeing it all, and everything in the pre season, through the darkest of dark lenses. Always look at the Bills with excrement covered glasses? Obviously some concerns, and especially in the secondary, but the Bills will likely be one of the best teams in the league--and that ridiculous comment, laughable cliche, that it is all on 17 now. The Bills will have one of the best rosters in the NFL, with a much improved defense, and maybe an historically good offense now. With so many young 'uns on defense, it will take some weeks for them to hit their stride, but enough here for another great start. Clean off your glasses! They are really distorting reality. But we will see soon, for real, IF the sky is really falling. Did you have similar high hopes at the end of last pre season? I would guess; YES! Would bet a lot on that!
