  1. Past hour
  2. I got jumped coming home last night, Shadow in the alley turned out all my lights, round and round and round and round and round and round and round, don't take much to get me on the ground. Loose Lucy, she was sore, says I know you don't want my love no more, yeh-yeh yeh-yeh yeh-yeh yeh, singing, "Thank you, for a real good time!"
  3. Do u live under a rock? Jesus man pay attention to something other than your tds obsession.
  4. The division was lost when we lost to Miami last week. Based on the AFC standings today and schedule if NE goes 6-1 they will most likely land the #1 seed. What a crazy turn around a new coach made in NE.
  5. How? I thought the McD/Beane fans were just happy being relevant in the NFL and if we fire them we will go back to the Gailey or Greg Williams days, even though we have a QB now. Are there really ones out that think they are going to make it at this point? Why don't you mention all the great trades and value signings we made since drafting Josh? Oh wait....
  6. Good analogy as I can’t believe any Bills fan wouldn’t know the Remember the Titans reference.
  7. You do realize McGovern, Edwards, Daquan, Larry O, AJE, Milano, Shaq, Gilliam, Lewis, Franklin,Wishnowski, Prater, Nelson are all UFAs with about $7m in cap space as things stand now? I know we can re-sign them all but I would say at least 5-6 would be nice returners but we're going to adjust our cap significantly to get just those back too. So with all those roster holes and little cap room how do you propose we get that AND what your want back?
  8. Can’t disagree. Wonder if the strained relationship played a part? Probably not but food for thought nonetheless.
  9. it’s something that literally no other staff has done. They unsuccessfully navigated several cap advantaged seasons without that accomplishment, but maybe their first will be with a lesser roster and voices growing old in the room. It would be a reinvention of leadership never before seen in the nfl. Do we think McD is that guy?
  10. Today
  11. I just can’t see them winning this game. No Kincaid, maybe no Shakir? Regardless, they don’t have the offensive talent, and the defense will eventually crack as the game goes on. I see it going similarly as the Miami game; perhaps the only difference being an early Bills TD, probably on the first drive. Bucs 30 Buffalo 17
  12. Welp - it's on Mecole Hardman and Gabe Davis to help us this year. It is what it is. What's done and done. All we can do is look to next year for the WR Train. There will be hopes for Trades. But as far as Free Agents go - there's some good ones available (if they aren't Franchised) and the three i'd be looking at are: George Pickens Mike Evans Alec Pierce Unsurprisingly, expectations are that Alec Pierce will have a pretty big market:
  13. Josh had 23 passes 10 yards or less a bulk of those were 5 yards to behind the los. Thats more than half his passes. He isn’t Tom Brady and he is never going to be. It is not what makes Allen special. I can’t believe how many people want to turn him into something he isn’t instead of embracing what has made him one of the best QBs in the league over the last several years. Throwing 3 yard passes all game every game has already shown it’s a flawed strategy. For that you need receivers that open early, a quick release precision QB, and receivers that excell at YAC. We have one of those but easy to take out one player.
  14. I honestly didn't think about that but one has to wonder. His body language doesn't seem decisive I still think the entire offense infrastructure around Allen with this McDermott regime is not competent. This ain't Bill Walsh and cutting edge offensive philosophy. And I think this is hurting Colemans development. Ppl will counter with the offensive production, but Allen has been under multiple coordinators and different philosophical systems and produced in all of them. Again this is Dick Jaroun who lucked into this eras John Elway He even looked good in the jets game. He had a big catch taken back on a penalty In the 1st 2 games he reminded me a bit of keyshawn Johnson. Something came off the rails so idk. He doesn't strike me as a wr that sucks. He has real abilities, but something happened after the 1st 2 games and his confidence looks gone In the interview when he was asked about the Steve Smith video he looked extremely sad and I could tell he was hurting. I felt bad for him... It's just my speculation but you gotta wonder if a personal issue is going on with Coleman. It's just a vibe I'm getting
  15. It's not bad luck. If you draft or sign injury prone players or older players it's a much more common theme Bernard for example was constantly dealing with injuries in college, that's on Beane. Bosa, injury prone, on Beane, depending on Milano or Thompson after the past couple years, on Beane. Landon Jackson for example already had 2 torn acls in college, now it's a 3rd knee issue. That's on Beane.... There's numerous other examples. Von Miller was 33, with multiple serious injuries towards the end when beane decided to give him a ridiculous contract. That's on Beane.... At least with the bosa contract it was just a 1 year 12 mil contract Zack Moss in college - injury prone Poyer, Jordan Phillips, Tre White older injury prone players That's on Beane Beane decided to invest 3 years into Hoecht. We all know given the suspension why that was a risk.... Again this is on Beane Stop drafting smaller, injury prone players on defense
  16. It's the new policy of giving them 60 balls to break in before the season instead of one hour before kickoff like it was the previous 25 years. I It's easier to catch a baseball one the glove is broken in. A football goes further when it's broken in. I don't take any kicking records seriously anymore.
  17. Chris Simms on the Bills offense vs Miami: I considered making a new thread for this but it fits into this thread just fine. I recommend watching the entire 12 minute video. Nothing he says here should surprise anyone. Highlights: -When defenses are able to stop the run, we have no counterpunch. He points out when you face playoff defenses you will inevitably have a game where you can't get the run going, and we don't have any answers to overcome that. -Way too much is on Allen in the pass game. Nothing about it is surgical, it's all on him to create big plays. -He blames the personnel more than the play calling but does criticize the play calling for dipping into the same well way too many times. The same concepts are constantly showing up on film. We're attacking the same areas of the field over and over again and Miami's defense was clamping down on it. -Miami was in zone most of the game, cover 3 specifically 67% of the time. He says they were easily passing off our various crossing routes and we had no way of attacking them outside to get them out of those looks. He says "Allen can throw comebacks while sitting on his ass" but we don't have those routes on the menu because of our personnel. -He criticizes Coleman in particular. He says that several times Allen hits the top of his drop looking in Coleman's direction but Coleman hasn't gotten to his spot and/or is jogging, so Allen ends up having to move on in the read. You can tell how flabbergasted Simms is that this is the offense we've built around Allen. An all-time physically gifted QB and we're just asking him to throw button hooks and short crossers. We spam the same boring play calls and we have no one to take advantage of Allen's arm downfield.
  18. I know it's unlikely, that's why I said "almost rooting for the wheels to fall off." Don't bother telling me to switch teams, FitzTitz, I was born a Buffalonian and I'm a Bills fan for life. Where do you get this inside info that the owner will "literally die before removing McBeane"? You've seen the will? Ps I like your handle
  19. I am 100% convinced i could beat Tyler Bass in a fight.
  20. I think it’s the mental beat down from McD over the past few years. Always trying to get him to stop running. Always worried about the turnovers and not taking account the amount of big plays and TDs that occurred from the same playstyle. Then trying to turn him into Tom Brady dink and dunk etc. the dude is probably in constant conflict between what he wants to do and what the coach is telling him to do. You can see this all the time in his hesitation. I’ve been saying it for over a year now and it’s gotten worse this year.
  21. im probably the boards biggest Gabe “hater” but the dude has made some amazing toe taps on the sideline. His problem has always been consistency with his hands and not being on the same page as Allen.
  22. These are all wonderful points, only thing I’ll add is Miami really did benefit from the GM bump as so many teams do. The players chose McDaniel over Grier. That meant something to the players when the owner went with them (and McD as a result). The Dolphins had the perfect storm, caught the Bills sleeping (heads in the clouds post Chiefs) when they were ready to run through a wall themselves.
