Right now, world wide there are many young kids,m from different generations, that admire Josh Allen. Josh is winning Bills fans from all over the Globe. As The Ralph closes, and we share past Bills games, stories, successes, and heartaches and legends, this will entertain most everyone that hears the stories. And it is so exciting getting our beautiful, amazing new stadium. The Bills team is battle tested and so talented. There is synergy on the Bills. Josh is amazing leader. The Bills have as good a shot at winning SB this year as any team, and as ever. Taking all of this into consideration, it would be amazing if this was our year, it really would be the perfect time. Mini Max Anderson... I was 9 or 10 watching what may have been my very first Bills game and Mini Max got hurt. One of the announcers said he swallowed his tongue. The concept freaked me out and I ran to my mother and asked if that was even possible. For years, I was afraid of swallowing my tongue.

I agree on McDaniels surviving this year. His unorthodox, goofy demeanor can be endearing when you are winning, when you are losing as in last year, it loses its appeal. I think Grier is "safe" for another year as the NFL doesn't need to fire a minority GM.

I don’t see it ever becoming a “league problem”, but I think they are susceptible to individuals like Tim Donaghy, the NBA ref who got caught. I don’t ever see the whole thing being rigged, but individuals are another story and much harder to control. Individuals, refs and players, are where they could be vulnerable. Any scandal is going to lead to a lot of backlash the league wants no part of, but I don’t see how it’s totally avoidable. People are going to be people. .

On the evidence part. this is what I found -- it is a small study of 500 Australian gamblers split into groups of those who gamble in game and those that don't. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC7644858/#:~:text=Those who bet in-play,betting%2C holding other variables constant. They found those that bet in-played had more problem gambling issues. The study is certainly not definitive since their two groups were not from the same socio-economic background though they tried to account for those factors. Note also that in-game betting is not allowed in Australia so you have to do it via off-shore websites.

The Bandits sell out in the playoffs and almost sell out their 9 regular season home games. That's an arena of 19,000 It's not a lot of money in the big picture, but expenses are cheap so there is almost certainly a handsome profit margin. The Bandits make money instead of losing it. I'm not sure the same can be said of the Sabres with their half full arena.
