Kyren gonna fire his agent

Based on the guaranteed amount in this agreement, and not knowing the specifics of the contract, it appears to me to be a 7.5 mil/yr deal with incentives. Not real NFL fans. I specifically asked some friends that question. If you love football and have watched HK before, you love all of these shows. What’s amusing to me is how many guys on this board (not you) feel the need to come to this thread to say how much they don’t enjoy the show, and the concerns about Pegula’s “involvement” are hilarious. Some of the posters on here really just don’t get it. At all.

After the Williams deal it was just a matter of time before this got done. 12 mil AAV with 30 guaranteed is fair to both parties. Cook may not be valued that high by other teams but as important as he is to our offense, an extra million a year is peanuts considering how much the cap goes up every year.

Tsk, tsk. There's no room for harsh reality here.

Has anyone had that Pittsford Farms Dairy from Hard Knocks?

From that stand point, yes that's cool. Just speaking from the few times I've had it, I don't think it's like way better than anything else or anything. -

Now we can focus on the playoffs. -
I don't think it moved the needle for the contract negotiations. I just think he was being cautious to not get any injuries before the deal got done.

Glad this whole debacle is over. Litterally all I've heard about for 6 months on local talk radio is cook. Really glad this is over and done with

Assuming that the information on this link is up to date, the Bills are last with meeting the salary cap (currently $600k over). 2026 - $4.5m over. https://overthecap.com/salary-cap-space Something to keep in mind.

Good to get it done, and he is about where he should be. Maybe a tad bit more, but that's fine. He is an important part of the offense.

Cook is the same age that OJ Simpson was entering the 1972 season, the start of a five-year run of the greatest RB play in NFL history. Cook’s not too old, and he’s a very low mileage RB with no serious injury history.

Nice. Thanks, Kyren! -
12 mill per, that's abouy right. 6th highest RB, is about right as well.
-
Glad it’s done. I thought it likely a deal was already finalized when I saw that Cook came back to practice. Not pleased that his hold in worked, but that’s life in the NFL. I will hold off on judging the contract until I see the details.

eat what?

I agree. One of the best run organizations in football. Considering what we dealt with 2000-2016 this is such a a great ride for me as a fan

Cook Agrees to deal with Bills

This deal came in exactly as expected - $12m per. It was all about the guaranteed money, as I said earlier this offseason. Great deal for both sides, Cook is still an ascending player. Just wait until Gibbs and Bijan get their bag next year, this will look like a steal for us. -
YES ! Beane is the man ...

I guess the COOK really is in the kitchen. Sounds like a fair deal for both sides and more than enough time to get in game shape. -
I'll say it in both threads, Time to Cook!

I bet you get the best crop of tomatoes EVER!
