  1. Past hour
  2. Billspeed! Stay safe out there!
  3. I'm a poor man's son from across the railroad tracks Only should I own this hair on my back But I'm the envy of every single guy Since I'm the apple of my girl's eye When we go out stepping on the town for a while My money's low and my suit's out of style But it's all right if my clothes aren't new Out of sight, because my heart is true She says, baby, everything is alright Uptight, out of sight Baby, everything is alright Uptight, and clean out of sight
  4. The first handful of picks, at least to me, are always first round guys given it’s either that bad a team picking or a team trading up/down to catch a guy that “somehow fell/falls out of the first round”. So yeah, technically by round standards he wasn’t a first rounder. But I’m with you, he was a first rounder.
  5. The fact Rex, an anointed and self proclaimed defensive mastermind, took a back to back top 5 defensive and did what he did was telling in itself. Going by that graph it pains to see the wasted talent from Gregg Williams’ last and Mike Mularkey’s first years as head coaches… truly an elite and special defense. Especially how badly the offense was over those 2 seasons.
  6. So you sat there drinking in the air conditioning while watching others suffer? Do I have that right? 😜 You... eat cigars? 😊 I knew there had to be a logical explanation... 86°Hi RealFeel® 93° RealFeel Shade™ 91° Warm and humid with times of clouds and sun; a thunderstorm in spots late this afternoon Max UV Index3.0 (Moderate) AccuLumen Brightness Index™5 (Medium) WindSSE 8 mph Wind Gusts 15 mph Probability of Precipitation 55% Probability of Thunderstorms 33% Precipitation 0.04 in Rain 0.04 in Hours of Precipitation 0.5 Hours of Rain 0.5 Cloud Cover 64%
  7. Ok boys, let’s matriculate the ball down the field!
  8. Right, I bet Mike just sits there wondering "How does Sean stack up against the greatest coaches of all time?" A cynic (who, me???) might ask if McD is even the greatest Sean coaching in the league right now. Consider that he plays 4 games a year against the Fish and the Jets, who are a combined 109-172 during Sean's tenure. And if you add in the post-Brady Patriots, it's even more skewed.
  9. Even though the original post includes playoff wins, it got me to thinking which NFL HC got to 100 wins in the fewest regular season games: Don Shula 137 Colts/Dolphins George Seifert 141 49ers Joe Gibbs 146 Redskins Tony Dungy 148 Buccaneers/Colts John Madden 150 Raiders Vince Lombardi 151 Packers Mike Holmgren 154 Packers/Seahawks Mike Tomlin 157 Steelers Bill Cowher 158 Steelers Paul Brown 160 Browns If McDermott wins tomorrow he'll have 93 wins in 140 games. Unless the Bills run the table he won't reach 100 wins this season. At his current regular season winning percentage (.661) he'll need 10 or 11 more games to reach 100 which would put him at 150-151 games. If McDermott doesn't win the 2026 Super Bowl he'll be the only one in the top 10 without a Super Bowl win as a head coach. Finally, Andy Reid is the only HC with over 100 wins with 2 different teams... and Reid finally won a Super Bowl in his 21st season as a head coach.
  10. Today
  11. Leaving in a few minutes to drive to Miami. Looking forward to a big win. Go Bills!
  12. Did you even read the article? Florio never never said that. He even acknowledged that he benefited from a 17 game regular season schedule and the playoffs are what matters the most for McDermott. However, let's give them one loss a year for the last five years. He'd still accomplish this feat if he went 12-5 this year. Two things can be true at once. He's a very good regular season coach and has created a winning culture for this team since he got here in 2017. He specializes in defense and this defense has let us down five years straight in the playoff losses against Mahomes (4x) and Burrow (1x). This is just another thread in the endless McDermott conundrum talk and none of it matters because Pegula isn't firing McDermott any time soon.

  14. What a stupid thing to complain about.
  15. How lucky are we that we can complain about a coach getting 100 wins this quick?
  16. One has to live as long as me to fully understand what a win today would mean for the Bills. This is the 125th meeting with the Fish. For the 1st time since 1970, we have the opportunity to finally TIE UP the all time series with our nemesis from south Florida! From the 20 straight losses in the 70’s through Shula’s reign of horror I’d become doubtful this day would EVER be realized. Even as Levy led us through 4 Super Bowls, they were STILL our toughest opponent! That Marv had a career winning record vs them was all we could be happy for.. Until today! Thanks to that run and now the advent of their Antichrist in JA17, the moment is upon us to even the series with the waterborne mammals. We can’t let this moment pass! With Fergy & Kelly last week, Josh knows our history and his opportunity to join Jack Kemp as a Bills QB who’s never feared the Dolphins! Allen is 13-2 vs da fish, he has averaged 267 yards passing and thrown for 37 TDs while rushing for 647 yards with 5 more scores. He IS the Dolphin Daddy! BUT, both teams are looking up at the Pats* in the Division this season. Pete Rozell’s dream of full parity has come to full fruition.Any team can and Has beaten anyone! Every team has great players and every team has a bunch of jags. How healthy you can keep your great players has become the biggest key to success -in addition to hitting on Draft picks. Speaking of Draft picks, kudos to BBB for his recent hauls! Long criticized for his early picks not working out, he & his staff have knocked it out of the park the last few years! From Hairston, Bishop, Walker, Hawes, to Benford, Kincaid, Shakir & Torrence we have a fine young nucleus for continued success through the Allen era. They all played a big role vs. the Chiefs in last week’s thriller! The Chiefs game showed how much we’ve grown this season. Yes, sadly we’re moving on without Hoecht & Oliver, but Hairston, Bishop, Groot, D. Walker, Hawes & Gilliam have turned it up in their play significantly since earlier in the season. Our entire OLine played their best game of the so far and are healthy. -Spoiler Alert, Aaron Kromer is the best OLine coach in the League. He must be retained throughout Allen’s career! Max making plays Noteworthy notes As for da fish, Achane is a legit rusher and Waddle is always a threat. Tua and co. are playing for their coaches lives. Jack Seiler and rookie Jordan Phillips (not our guy) are solid DLinemen but they’re depleted at DE. Their secondary is well.. not good. But expect a LOT of blitzing. They live by it and dying because of it. They do have a top 10 goal line Defense so punching it in is critical for success. Pats* take on a good Bucs team today, so we must keep the irons hot! Go Bucs! -side note- Steve Tasker BELONGS IN THE HALL OF FAME! We GOT this! GO BILLS!
  17. Oh we love him don’t worry! He’s been saying nice things about Josh for awhile now 😁💕.
  18. True, but St. Francis is breathing down their necks for most overall. Canisius 9, St. Francis 8 although I couldn’t confirm if 8 included the 2025 championship, so maybe tied😂
  19. if thats all he wants then they republicans should just agree and open the government
  20. My question is what does Steve Smith have against Keon Coleman? Is it personal? He trashed him before the draft. After week 8 last year (of his rookie season), he put out a similar "hit piece" video to the recent one calling Keon a bust (just 8 weeks into his career). After the Baltimore game week 1 this year, he made sure to put out a quote to tell everyone to "pump the brakes on the Keon Coleman hype train" (because Keon had a good game), and then this most recent video trashing Keon. I mean, I know this is the era of podcasts and everyone has an opinion, but, I have a hard time thinking of another former NFL receiver trashing a young receiver so much and calling him a bust after the first 8 games of his career. I remember breaking down Smith's video last year (didn't even watch the recent one, no reason to), he was trying soooo hard to point out problems that he even talked trash on positive/good plays that Keon made. It seems unusual to me how aggressive he is in his stance. I mean Keon doesn't play for his former team or anything. Their colleges weren't rivals. They grew up in different states. Why does he care so much to continually trash him? If he sucks, he'll find his way out of the league. Why give him so much attention if you think he is trash? He wasn't a high draft pick that everyone is praising. He's a second round receiver trying to find his way. Why does Smith feel the need to go out of his way to tear Keon down? All I'll say, in regards to the thread, is that I haven't given up on Keon. Exactly. Back in the day, we understood that some players took longer (2-3 years) to develop. Not every guy is ready to break out as a stud week one of his rookie year. Terrell Bernard, Spencer Brown, Connor McGovern, Khalil Shakir, Dalton Kincaid, Cole Bishop Now it's Keon Coleman, DeWayne Carter, TJ Sanders, Landon Jackson, Do they all work out? No. But have a bit of patience either way, because some of them will.
  21. Keon ran a 4.53 at his pro day, other WRs with similar speed have gone on to have great to even elite careers, and Will Levis is a weird example as obviously he could break out too - like guys such as Baker, Darnold, Geno, Gannon, Young, etc did after slow starts, changing teams, etc. But none of that matters, he was never comparing the two, he was just talking about breaking out after a slow start. And yes it’s still possible, but I do have concerns of he can here in this offense based on the reasons I already stated.
  22. If it was trying to do that it would indeed be a dumb article. But it isn't.
