  1. Past hour
  2. They're gonna play basketball?
  3. I can see it now Queen City! ... a Freddie Mercury themed uniform... like Big teeth with a Tiara on them on the side of the helmet... little poofie things at the pant bottom.. Sleeveless Purple and pink jerseys with frilly scarves knit in... running out on the field to "Fat Bottom Girls".... 🤣😆
  4. better not be.
  5. That's a great summary of our safety play last year. Lets hope Rapp and Bishop are a real good tandem together this coming year. Don't know much about Forrest, but have heard he is athletic and played real well in 2022 when healthy for Washington. As for Hancock, he played and started some for the Nat Champion Buckeyes. There should be a place for him in the defensive rotation sooner than later. Our defense was trash last year. There needs to be a plan to incorporate all 6 players drafted on defense this year into the rotation pretty quickly. The guys in front of them on the D Line and secondary were pretty bad with little to no upside. That has to change. McDermott is a ***** coach if he can not see that. And yes Hamlin was lousy last year. Lacks the basic athleticism to be playing NFL football. Pretty much the same w Cam Lewis. Its a speed game in the modern NFL. The old time safety's like David Fulcher (remember him from Cincinnati) are bigger then many LB's in today's game. We need to keep up with better athleticism.
  6. LOL Biden was working for 4yrs on a trade deal with the UK! Nadda, nothing
  7. Any Pearl Jam cover of the Who is always good. There’s honestly too many to name at this point.
  8. They cannot got too much later due to network deals and scheduling. It was moved to May so in years the draft has some big QB hype and players they can build off of it. Get ready for Arch Manning to be on 3x when he comes in the league in a year or two.
  9. That's the five year plan of creating a deep partnership with India, while drawing in investment around the globe to build in America. Shifting out of dependency on China to a mutually beneficial partnership with India, with the guiding vision being a sustainable and owned supply chain.
  10. Going to an expansion franchise is insanely hard to do as a rookie QB and David Carr also had an issue where the expansion draft rules weren't that good for the Texans which meant that getting the franchise off to a hot start like the Jags and Panthers was not gonna happen (I think the other owners basically didn't want to be too favorable for expansion teams so they defacto punished the Texans and returning Browns). I would love to have seen Derrick Carr with the Texans team that Matt Schuab had. Schuab had a lot better O-line and a good complement of weapons and a defense that improved somewhat. Carr was just given Andre Johnson and not much else.
  11. They have replica seats at the stadium experience so everyone purchasing a PSL has had the opportunity to sit in the type of seat they are purchasing
  12. Intricacies of the draft and the cap for which I am really not good at all is one of the reasons I love this board... thanks for your explanation in understandable terms.. Looks like the Bills moved Jacksonville and layed down a big ol butt bomb...
  13. Daboll/Schoen need to win this year. And if they don't, they at least have to show some big potential from Dart in the 2nd half of the season. That's why they loaded up, they basically get those 2 shots to keep their jobs - either win or show a very promising future. They were lucky to even get this after the way the last 2 seasons went.
  14. Its also very exciting that he sorta played all over for OSU. He seemingly didnt have a specific role and had to know the whole defense. Very excited that were getting a supreme athlete that knows the defensive philosophy throughout. That he didnt have the specific role to shine in was seemingly why he was available so late. https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Jordan-Hancock-CB-OhioState (near the bottom says played CB, NCB, and S).
  15. There might be a couple others as NIL money makes it so that you have something to fall back on should you run into a serious injury. But it is only going to be a narrow range of QB prospects who are gonna have the luxury to be picky with landing spots. The guys who know if they wait a year at worst they will be a top 5 pick prospects that I think would have fit this bill in the last 10ish years Trevor Lawrence, Andrew Luck, and maybe Caleb Williams? That's about it. And of those players what maybe one of them wouldn't have liked their landing spot? It will be a situation that pops up once or twice a decade at worst.
  16. As important as John Brown and Beasley were when they were brought in to help josh in year 2. They also replaced Groy/Bodine with Morse, Ducasse with Spain, and Mills with Ford. They also added depth with Feliciano, Nsekhe and Spencer long. They definitely whiffed on moving on from Teller, but they did use those picks to help acquire Diggs, and added Bass in the 6th.
  17. This is an option I have come to accept as well. For many years, especially under Bush's GWOT, I was in the decidedly liberal camp that criticized the attempt to label Islam a threat for fear of contributing to xenophobia and racism. And there are certainly racist and xenophobic people out there. But that doesn't change the fundamental truth that there are enough Muslims moving to the west who don't respect Western integration and who would decidedly vote to turn western democracies into Islamic theocracies. The term I've seen that does a good job describing how and why liberals turn a blind eye to the very real harm of Islamic ideology (and other toxic states of affairs) is "toxic empathy." That is, allowing for extremely toxic behavior out of fear of being called racist or sexist, or xenophobic or anti-trans... And this conglomeration of toxic states of affairs, from letting anyone and everyone cross the border illegally, to telling every five year old in school that changing their gender might solve all of their problems ECT... Is why millions and millions of people who haven't voted R in their lives saw Trump 2024 as the lesser of two evils.
  18. 1. I think a team can expect to not be missing their starting (and best) cornerback and player in the secondary AND their starting safety. Those are huge losses in a any defense, especially one clearly undermanned all year long, and now playing Mahomes and his three time Super Bowl champion team in their own home. Bizarre that someone would think the head coach and quarterback of a team in that position would not feel more pressure. Of course, they would. A duh, actually. 2. The Bills getting to the Championship Game again and not winning it would be disappointing, and of course a failure to many concerned. But it is not a massive failure, would likely only be to bashers and haters of McBeane, who try to turn almost every thread into a 'Fire the bum', thread. Hard for them to see the forest through the trees, as their vision is so distorted. 3. ...which is a nice segue into my response to your "They have never played good playoff defense." Yes, they lost to the Chief in that playoff game, of course, even with an excellent defense that year. The Chiefs got the better of almost every defense they played that year and scored over 30 points nine times that season, winning the Super Bowl to cap it all off. But like so much of the McBeane bashing, just hyperbole and throw away nonsense for anyone to say that Bills have never played good playoff defense--unless they only choose to watch Bills' losses. The Bills have definitely played good, some would say excellent, or even superb, playoff defense under this particular team. Just the weak before this game, they man handled the Patriots--the pats were never in the game. And then they crushed the Ravens in the playoffs to an even greater degree, holding them to just 3 points. And ditto for their win against the Steelers after the 2023 season, a 31-17 win. And last year's beat down of the Broncos, who, after their initial score early in the game, were shutout, 31-7. The word Never seems to mean something much different to you than to most people, and as defined in most dictionaries, I think. (I probably should have never said, as I did just a few posts ago, that I did not want this to turn into a 'Fire the coach!' (or GM) thread, as any attention keeps them going...)
  19. Yeah! Damn AutoCorrect. I notice then AND the two BigBoxes stand alone on that chart. I wonder where they (Husky/Kobalt) source their parts from?
  20. Just following PPP precedent 4th&schlong...
  21. If it is, it is. Only Beane truly knows. It will be fine.
  22. Good on him! Lol Ravens at Bills for Opener? I would like for us to come out hot and crush them.
  23. All that will be addressed at the end of summer. Right now, Beane needs to get the 90 signed.
  24. No sh it really? Who cares what he does he's irrelevant.
