  1. Past hour
  2. The Jets example, they were not down 2. They were down 6.
  3. Sheesh. Of course there is a way it's correct. Functionally Miami has 2 timeouts with one saved to kick the FG. I don't give a crap if we end the half with extra timeouts, this is a nonsensical factor when you're trying to avoid surrendering the TD at all costs in a tight game. If the Bills let the clock run it either forces Miami to burn those two timeouts instead of us, or let the clock run. Dolphins don't want to give Josh time, so they let the clock run on second and 5. The play takes 8 seconds so probably it's third and seven and the clock has 25 or so seconds left If Miami takes the TO it leaves them with one more disposable timeout. With one timeout we gifted them around 20 seconds of game time and disrespected them when even McD admits our D will be suspect at times with all the youth and injuries. We took all the pressure of the clock off of them. After this, the scenarios are too variable to debate but the bottom line is Miami got the TD with 8 seconds remaining.
  4. Teams thus far are playing safeties deep to take the long pass away. Should Josh just throw into coverage and risk a puck just to make you happy? The offense has been very productive thus far.
  5. Thoughts on this week's games so far in no particular order: A lot of wild finishes. ST's showing up as an achilles heel for a bunch of teams. Keep sleeping on Tampa and Baker Mayfield. Three weeks, three game winning drives late. Yes, Mike Evans hurt his hamstring, but the team is fairly balanced. They are going to breeze through the NFC South. Last year may not have been a fluke. Darnold looks like he has turned into a decent starter. Injuries and all, San Fran keeps on winning. Dallas is a bad football team, and now they likely won't have Lamb for 2-4 weeks with a high ankle sprain. The Bolts may actually be for real. Solid defense and complimentary football. Looks like a Jim Harbaugh coached team to me. The Bengals will quickly swirl the bowl without Joe Burrow again this year. The bad thing, in a way, is Browning is good enough to get them 6 more victories and they will have a middle of the road draft pick. That Cleveland defense is tough, and I mean TOUGH. They will keep their team in most of their games barring injuries to key players. Will the real Daniel Jones please stand up. The Colts are 3-0 and Jonathan Taylor is currently leading the league in rushing. What in the world has happened to the Texans? CJ Stroud has 0 answers right now. The NFC North is going to be a fun division. Minny, GB, and Detroit are all going to neck and neck most of the season. It will come down to division tie-breakers, watch. How bad is Michael Penix? Was this just an off game, or is he that incompetent? A 58% completion percentage ain't getting it done. It would be tough to be a Falcons fan right now. The Giants with Russell Wilson at the helm may very well be the worst team in the NFL. If not the worst, they are second only to New Orleans. The bad part is they have some nice pieces on defense, but nothing is translating on the field. Daboll is likely out after this year, and maybe Schoen too. How long of a leash will Tennessee give Callahan? 3-14 last season and 0-3 already this year. At some point they will pull the plug. Don't be surprised if they try to come after Brady to work with their young QB. Last year it looked like Denver was next up in the AFC West. This year they look average at best and that defense is not carrying them at the moment like it did last season. Jacksonville has beaten two bad teams and Trevor Lawrence is the most overpaid QB in the game. $200M gtd for a 55% completion percentage through three weeks against Carolina, Cincy, and Houston. Philly is still the top dog in the NFC, but the Rams play them tough EVERY time. They will likely see each other again in the Playoffs. The AFC East is bad outside of the Bills. Mariota looks like he can keep Washington afloat until Daniels is healthy, for now. How old is Bobby Wagner again? It doesn't look like it matters.
  6. Oh yeah, AI definitely is never flawed or get things wrong lol
  7. "MAGA" will forget about whatever rule it is they can't find in a few weeks, this will blow over, Kimmel will be back on released from his contract so he can go somewhere else, and they'll move on to the next shiny object, be it MAGA-ZA, Greenland, Canada, a remastered score from Cats, Don's 4D play to act like he has dementia but secretly not actually have it, the "fake news" starvation Gaza, or whatever else -
  8. This. End of debate.
  9. It's funny how nobody cared about this until about a week ago when a boogeyman was sought. Almost seems like it's . . . made up.
  10. Part of the reason I want the Bills to get a Super Bowl so badly is to silence the McDermott haters. That said, he needs to win at least one with Allen. If he doesnt during any one of the following years and Allen asks for him to be replaced, Id go with Allen.
  11. I know Hondo and came to the same conclusion it has to be sarcasm teasing some of the guys who always look at the world as half empty as it pertains to any of the teams listed. Not just the Bills. Hey, I could be wrong. It really doesn’t matter. I laughed at the post.
  12. I think its a combination of it being the last year of the stadium and the Saints game being one of only two 1pm games at home this year.
  13. Today
  14. Netherlands and Hungary are also now looking at designating Antifa, the organization the left claims doesn't exist (even though we can actually see them and their violent actions), as a terrorist group. Other countries likely to follow.
  15. The way this last week went, I expect the Bills to lose by 10. I mean, any given Sunday, right? Carolina shutting the Falcons out...Cleveland beating Green Bay...the Vikings 48 points...Jags beating the Texans...Chicago pounding the Boys 31-14.
  16. No way is this correct. The Bills called a timeout with 55 seconds left and 2nd and 5 already in scoring range. If they let clock run it is already under 30 seconds and the Dolphins still have 3 timeouts. Then you get a stop for -2 yards - so it will be 3rd and 7 - they stop it again with 47 seconds. Now you force Miami into a decision - which is what you want - Do I run and run time and kick the FG or risk throwing and an incomplete pass risks giving the Bills the ball back with 35-40 seconds. If the Bills don’t call timeout - you give the Dolphins complete control on both the time and play calls. Would that have lead to a FG - maybe, but so would a stop on 3rd and 7 where they got pressure, but the players let Tua escape and scramble for a first down. The Bills timeouts then become useless if they were not used then - with a running clock and a 2nd and 5 at the 23 - the Dolphins control all of the plays. The coaches called plays that should have worked on that drive and the Bills players did not make the plays. They forced Tua out of the pocket multiple times with pressure and let him pick up yards and first downs via both air and scrambles, they had Hill stopped 4 yards short on 3rd down and Bernard took a bad angle and missed a tackle, etc.
  17. I watched some of that Bears game last night. Very, very bad. That is all Kaiir Elam needed to be an NFL starter. Find the worst secondary in the league, start on it.
  18. Where do you see 3? I see Lamar and Mahomes. Hurts is not top 5 imo.
  19. What a record to have and to do it as a defensive player is even more impressive IMO. QBs are more protected now and even when Drew was still going, but on D you better be putting yourself in harms way otherwise the coach will skip a game or two for you. He’s right to say fortunate! Fortunate to avoid major injury but blessed with toughness to want to play no matter what and not lose too big a step in the process. 229 is ~ 14+ seasons when the average is what again? 4? Dang
  20. Chiefs looked weak vs. Giants even though they got the W. Giants HC and GM are in big trouble regarding Daniel Wilson. Colts got their QB. I'm relieved to have him on my fantasy squad.
  21. The Bills won two very close games and lost a game the last four times they were favored by more than 10 points. Every time there's a thread about how they can't see when the next lost is going to come the Bills immediately go into a spiral. It's just bad juju.
  22. “Imagine how quickly the feds would descend on themselves”
  23. if you take a timeout in the first/third quarter with the clock running it adds that time to the end of half or game which changes the whole scenario at the end.
  24. Monday morning reactions to SNF: - The Chiefs finally got their run game going which was a necessity as other than telling Thornton "run fast downfield" they are getting nobody open in the pass game; - Other than the backward pass he had to recover himself I thought Mahomes played a really good game. The numbers won't pop but while early last year I thought some of their issues offensively fell on Quarterback play that isn't the case here. It's mainly stuff around him that isn't working. - Talking of Quarterback issues... Russell Wilson is terrible. All dump offs or heaves downfield. He made precisely one what I would call "proper Quarterback throw" to Slayton late on. They are going nowhere with him. If you don't wanna play Dart put Winston in. - Also for its talent level that was an underperformance by the Giants defensive line. They lost too many assignments up front. Given the resources they have poured in - top 10 picks etc - that unit has to be the engine of their team. - It's been a really tough week for the James Cook haters. Not only did we see again just how wide the gap is between him and the other Bills backs but the "Singletary would have been just as good if the Bills had this offensive line when he was here" argument took another hit as he is relegated to kick returner on one of the worst teams in football. And while Skattebo averaged 6 yards per carry and Tracey, before injury, 4 yards per carry... Singletary had 4 carries for 11 yards. 2.75 ypc. He will be out of the NFL next year.
  25. Maybe he’s become hung like one of his horses after that Baltimore game.
