I was wondering about the surgeon who performed the surgery. Don't top arhletes normally pick one of the leading surgeons in the country do do their surgery- I assume in this case they needed to act swiftly, wonder if it was just whatever surgeon was on call or if they had more options to try to get at least a top local guy (especially since it seems like it was more complicated than a run of the mill ACL)

The Bills aren't playing complimentary football now. The defense knows it. They've owned it.

He never called plays in SF, even in that one year. There were a few years in the NFL where everyone clamored to hire anyone with a little gel in their hair who once got a cup of coffee for Shanahan or McVey. Two of those guys, McDaniel and Zac Taylor, are now in bad situations where they are in over their heads. Bobby Slowik almost followed in their path. Then Slowik got canned in Houston, because the league got wise about these young "offensive geniuses.".But did you know that Slowik is currently the "Passing Game Coordinator" in Miami? How about the fact that Ken Dorsey is the "Passing Game Specialist" in Dallas? The list goes on. These guys never leave the game, no matter how poorly they do. And if they do flame out, they just go back to college. Rob Ryan, of all people, is the assistant head coach for defense at USC.

Bills/Dolphins in Miami question

A great Bills hotel in FtL is the Embassy Suites. It's a little older but will be packed full with Bills fans. Good breakfast buffet in the morning, too. -
I think the obvious nickname is Make a Wish.

Game week thread - Pats at Bills SNF

💯 I expect we see a vastly improved defense once Ed and Matt are both back on field together. Couple that with: 1. Rookie DTs getting more experience/more consistent 2. Hoecht and Oji return - Hoecht more so. I think he will have a valuable role and take some snaps from Groot/Bosa, giving them more juice for late game closer roles. Oji gives us another DT option rushing the passer, at very least some depth 3. Bishop getting more confidence. I think he is on the cusp of big things for our defense Dorian has been a disappointment to start the year. Im fairly certain that Shaq will be taking more snaps from him, if Milano continues to miss time. -

Seriously, can you imagine what he will get -
Waiting for the “why do you care” and “live and let live” brigades to show up. Maybe they know better in this one instance.

This is the guy that also did kickoffs for the 49ers for years. -
Bills to sign Punter Mitch Wishnowsky

If Mitch can maintain a 42 yd Net punt yards during his tenure here, I'll donate to the Make-a-Wish-nowsky Foundation. That has to be a thing, right? -

The thing about McDaniel is that he really only had one season of experience as OC with San Fran. He had 5 seasons of run game coordinator working next to Mike LaFleur. He might be an example of a guy promoted too early beyond his experience level. It's interesting. I think McDaniel, while not a serial bellower as Daboll apparently is, has succumbed to some of the same problems of picking the wrong coordinator and also being somewhat dealt a raw hand by player personnel decisions about who to retain and who to move on from.
