SNAP/EBT/Food Stamps
Joe Ferguson forever replied to SCBills's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I pay a monthly fee to be part of a small panel of patients cared for by a single MD. I certainly feel it’s worth it. If I felt that care from a midlevel was equivalent, I wouldn’t spend the money. And in these undesirable places, depth of knowledge is even more important. Specialists are few and far between. I counsel my friends and family to do the same as me. -
I never heard that story. Thanks for sharing. Just to add another team penalty stat. The Bills are the 5th best in the league in avoiding pre-snap penalties with 1.86 per game. The best is Seattle with 1.29 and the worse are the Giants with 3.75. FWIW.

I obviously grew up in luxurious privilege because my mother never allowed bologna in the house, only top end coldcuts from Federal on NFB I thought it was a treat when i'd have it at friends' houses lol

Bills, Broncos and Steelers pursuing Jakobi Meyers
ALLinALLEN replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
We should trade for Myers on Halloween, only feels right. -
Yes, and way more indecisive as well. There are lanes that he wiukd take the minute he saw that his guys weren't getting open and he took it, which put so much more pressure on a defense. When he runs now, its either this calling his own number, which the box is usually stacked against the run because that all we do well now, or he runs after waiting for 6-8 seconds.

Meyers played about 70% outside in both 2023 and 2024. He has been more 50/50 this year. -

NO MORE ***** SLOT WRs!!!!!!!!!!! Does Beane know nothing about building a WR room? 😡 😡 😡

Yikes...this sounds far worse than originally reported...

Agree. You would think that coaching could help his route running. Jerry Rice wasn't a speed guy either.

I think Myers has been kind of mailing it in because he knows he’s being traded. I think he even mentioned to the media something like “if I’m even still here”. -

He is up on $2 in volume at $0.99 per - doesn't mean much. Means someone just bet $2 he might get traded -

High scoring contest. Bills 36 Chefs 29 -
Not sure I like that Milano and Bernard are back. With the way the linebackers that have been in there the last 6 quarters have played only giving up 12 points they did a lot better than when those 2 were in there. Of course I don’t know for sure if it was more on the safeties being bad or if Bernard and Milano were equally as bad.

How many Wideouts do the Broncos need? -
Well he’s faster than Coleman there so that’s a positive.
-
Will he be activated to 53 for Sunday?

I don’t believe using a third round pick on Meyers despite Beane’s poor drafting. You will see in my history that I am one of the biggest Beane haters on this site. But I believe in good process. Giving up a third round pick for a WR who won’t alone fix our offensive woes and who is unlikely to get a large FA contract to offset our investment with a comp pick the following year is bad strategy. It is bad strategy that has gotten us to this desperation point two years in a row with WRs. -
no I think I was clear

I really hope that wasn't full speed. -
I can't from my cell, but if you watched it, like many, including many analysts like Mr. Cossell, all of them broke it all down. Josh is not going through his progressions and that is a fact. A fact that he has basically admitted, and for him to be in year 8 of his career, along with having the same coordinator now for a year, these kinda things should not be happening. Since we are on Josh's weaknesses, I would also like to add for all those that complain about our lack of weapons for him, he handpicked Keon, Kincaid, and most importantly got Knoxx his ridiculous extension. Josh is the face of the Bills, and was becoming the face of the league to an extent, so don't think he has no pull or say so on who they get him. Josh could easily demand a star player that's proven and Bean would have to move Earth to get him whoever he asked for. He took less money for a reason, one of those being to pay some of his guys, like Knoxx, who is way, way overpaid. Imagine having that 9-12 million free to spend on a quality receiver right now.
