  1. Past hour
  2. Wood, for better or worse, gets lost in the shuffle as a “drought guy.” Nobody remembers which offensive lineman stood out when the team is mired in a 17-year playoff hiatus. I think Wood was a good center but I’m pretty confident McGovern is better.
  3. I thought the people of NY were against this. To pay more to travel into NYC is not a win for the people.
  4. I wish we could have found a way to keep him. But he wasn't going to start, and he's too good to be a backup. One of the few real weaknesses on the team right now is backup linebacker. Williams is great, but Baylon Spector is either bad or injured.
  5. What happened here As the New York sunset disappeared I found an empty garden among the flagstones there Who lived here He must have been a gardener that cared a lot Who weeded out the tears and grew a good crop And now it all looks strange It's funny how one insect can damage so much grain
  6. In fairness, he waited 11 full hours before bumping his own post. Admirable restraint all things considered. Big girls need love too, L.
  7. Can you get to everything you need (social services, 7-11 and planned parenthood) in 15 min or less? I believe that is a yes - Viva La Rickshaws!
  8. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/bills-sell-25-000-psls-for-new-stadium They got the "80%" quote wrong. If 80% of season ticket holders paid for PSLs that would add up to way more than 25,000. But if every seat will have a PSL, this means there are still 36,000 unsold seats with 15 months to go before opening day 2026. PSL sales started in March of 2024: 14 months ago. @Kirby Jackson what is your opinion on the pace of sales? Is 25K in 14 months good or bad?
  9. Who are these journalists? Is that a picture of one of them? Do you have a link to a verified account or news outlet beyond @amuse?? I'm trying to find out who @amuse is? Do you know?
  10. Tyrell Dodson is on this list, but not Terrell Bernard? 😆 One signed a 2 year/6 million dollar contract, the other signed a 4 year 50 million dollar one. Obviously, TB’s skill set is much more valued by the NFL. His 2024 season is one of the greatest I’ve seen in a Bills uniform and trumps anything Dodson’s ever done. Nick Bolton in tier 4 is a joke also. This whole list sucks to be honest. Both belong in tier 3, but if Bernard can consistently get back to his 2024 form then he will definitely be one of the premier linebackers in the NFL. I am torn on Matt Milano. He was my favorite player in his prime, but his smaller frame & wreck-less abandonment he played seems to finally caught up to him. I wouldn’t bet on him making a come back turning 31 this summer. The other part of me wants to believe as he made some nice plays post-injury. The most realistic outcome to me is he loses a step, but can remain injury free then he could be a solid role player & depth. Milano is a smart player and his instincts are top notch. Even without his quickness he would still be a formidable player based on that alone.
  11. I don't disagree with you but I can say as someone who has completely tuned out the NBA since 2016 this Final Four has peaked my interest a bit and made me watch some of the games and I'm sure there are others out there who feel similar. To me this is better for the NBA than the Superteams era.
  12. Agree. Get underground in the tunnels where the air is pure with just the hint of urine and vomit in the air. Chances are really, really high a taxpayer won’t be slashed, mugged, sexually assaulted, accosted or pushed onto the tracks.
  13. Im not sure if was a "cheap shot", as I think he's just attempting to disrupt the catch point (because he was late to play the ball -being bad/slow is not cheap). However he lead with the crown of his helmet to a defenseless player and it resulted in a penalty/fine.
  14. great story and I love she shared it with you.. That right there is what I like to call a Blessing. For you Both! PREACH TCK yep
  15. yea do we not remember the 2 girls in 1 hotel or did we think the Vikings stuff was out of left field jokes?
  16. I could be wrong, but believe Roundy is a proponent of something called The Rickshaw Revolution.
  17. Song sung blue Everybody knows one Song sung blue Every garden grows one Me and you are subject to the blues now and then But when you take the blues and make a song You sing them out again Sing them out again
  18. Now, if you want to argue the National Security threat I’m all ears - explain the Court siding with China. Them doing so basically says this isn’t about law. It’s lawfare. And, since we now want to go back to original intent - I sure hope the SCOTUS applies this to the 14th amendment and birthright citizenship.
  19. The residents take the subway. I believe the grounds are that the federal government cannot tell a state entity, the MTA, what to do with their policies.
  20. Using Smoot-Hawley to say Trump has authority to do this is misleading, at best, and incredibly ignorant, at worst. For one, SH involved tariffs passed by the HOUSE, not by the President. For another, it was such an economic poison pill that a new liberal trade bill was passed in 1934 and effectively nullified SH. Also, the Federal Trade Act of 1974 does not give the President authority to drop sweeping tariffs, it allows him to create trade deals that Congress can pass quickly.
  21. I don’t think he went off the rails. This is who he is and always was. It’s just more public now with Cardi B. There are tons of stories about Diggs off the field that sound like this. He’s an unmarried, rich athlete that parties in the social media era.
  22. The problem with this line of thinking is that we can point to these examples (Obama and Biden) which reveal how government actually works in practice. How do we know this? Well, see Obama and Biden. Step back a bit further and we can look at the actions of the DOJ and special counsel and know that the government has allowable tolerance on the handling of national security (HRC) and holding, dissemination of classified material (Biden), and dealing with hostile foreign nationals attempting to derail free and fair elections (Clinton-Steele). We know that transparency and light in the darkness is the ideal, but we also know that the ideal is not the standard. If we look at your post, @Andy1 gives you a thumbs up for your post on hypocrisy, but we’re left to wonder why he would cast his lot with a Biden presidency when he was a critical advocate and co-conspirator in Obama’s actions? I think it’s because we recognize that government actually operates in ways contrary to the way it should. That’s the norm. That’s how it’s done. That’s the standard.
  23. Trump's like some woman who can't decide what dress to squeeze her fat body into before a dinner date. One thing, then the next, then some pouting, then some gratification...of course the investors picked up on it. His biggest issue is that he's used to doing business with other selfish, greedy whooores just like himself, not with people who actually have standards and morals. If he was making deals with the people he usually does, then all this would be figured out and they'd be golfing and banging hookers by now because they get antsy and need to wrap it up. Unfortunately for Donald, the MAGAS, and the United States, he's dealing with very serious people who have very specific "codes" by which they live and are highly disciplined. He has shown his hand and it is small, orange and fragile. It's unfortunate for this country because if you strip away the layer of glitzy, Vegas fat there are some good ideas there but he doesn't have the faculty to engage the world and make it happen for America.
  24. Who knows how's what caused him to go off the rails. As another poster said, all he had to do was keep it together here in Buffalo.
