  2. Lets get the usual responses out of the way, shall we ? "I can't believe that you MAGA cultists are so fixated on this !" " What are you so afraid of ? No one is forcing anything, We just want acceptance" Now compare those childish taunts with the fact that the United States has designated a whole month based on who you have sex with. It is all a political movement designed to further Leftist goals. Excuse me if I just laugh and point out examples of hypocrisy. .
  3. Government ownership of a factory IS one form of “workers owning the means of production.” In this instance, the collective taxpayers/voters are the owners and the government handles the administrative affairs of the factory. I think you misinterpreted what I wrote: I NEVER denied the historical reality that far-left governments have imprisoned their political opponents. I merely stated that it wasn’t a defining feature of socialism, whereas it IS for fascism. By “defining feature,” I mean “a description that an academic political philosopher would use to help characterize the term.” I personally know lots of card-carrying DSA members, and none of them believe in throwing their political opponents in jail. I mean, sure…EXCEPT FOR THE HISTORICAL FACT that the actual Nazi politicians never saw themselves as socialists, never governed with the implementation of proper socialist policies, and actively fought against real German socialists. By the time the German citizens who supported the Nazis specifically for their socialist branding figured out what was going on, it was too late to dissent. Claiming the Nazis were “socialists” because it was in their party name is simply devoid of any critical historical analysis. It would be like evaluating contemporary American politics by simply stating Democrats must therefore be inherently more “democratic” than Republicans, or that Republicans must therefore be better promulgators of representative democracy than Democrats. These are all just names branded for whatever political expediency at the point of initial historical application. The era of Pax Kay-Leh-na, as established in the Papal Conclave thread, is now under great duress. Proceed with caution, Leh-nerd…
  4. My guess isn't that he did not take some sort of weird or mysterious multivitamin or exotic supplement just on a whim. He took anabolics, HGH or adderol.
  5. Back to the thread Boulder attack suspect in US illegally: Homeland Security Eight people were hospitalized with burns from the Sunday afternoon attack. By Luke Barr and Emily Shapiro The man suspected of carrying out an "act of terrorism" during a pro-Israel demonstration in Boulder, Colorado, leaving eight people in the hospital, is in the United States illegally, according to the Department of Homeland Security. The suspect, 45-year-old Mohamed Soliman, entered the U.S. in August 2022 on a B2 visa and he filed for asylum in September 2022, according to Tricia McLaughlin, the assistant secretary for public affairs at the Department of Homeland Security. 6. From the ESPN article: https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/45432412/eagles-rb-saquon-barkley-lands-madden-cover-iconic-leap "Barkley has also been named to the Madden 99 Club -- a first for an Eagles offensive player. Starring on the cover of Madden NFL 26 and being named to the Madden NFL '99 Club' are both dreams come true," Barkley said. "I'm grateful to my teammates, coaches and Eagles fans for their support, and I can't wait to hit the field again to give Madden players more highlight-reel moments in Madden NFL 26." Barkley, the reigning Associated Press Offensive Player of the Year, is coming off one of the best seasons for a running back in NFL history. He rushed for 2,504 yards over the regular season and the postseason, breaking the single-season record."
  7. Here’s my guess: he’s gone. The Patriots will shut up about it in the meantime because Diggs will grieve the release and the team won’t want the failed physical to seem pretextual in advance of the release.
  8. He had better be at OTAs. I am starting to get really worried that his priorities are out of order. Were he actually committed to winning a super bowl he would be celibate and distraction free until his playing days were over.
  9. Right. We took an oath.
  10. He’ll be there. Wouldn’t be surprised if he missed one or two days, but 17 is different edit- I don’t care if he’s there or not. If there’s ever someone deserves to miss PTA’s, it’s him
  11. https://apple.news/ACP4znyw6RkW1RX9Qt-8_fg this well documents the problem with a team run by Adams and Pegula…
  12. The covid offseason imo greatly impacted Epenesa. Imo went to too far and lost strength. Took a year plus to bring that back. But to a lesser extend the training was for speed imo. Everyone came in got leaner it felt. Everyone is different. Some guys need to fill out. Some need to redistribute the weight. Some need to get a bit leaner. Felt like everyone was on similar trajectories the last few years as a training staff.
  13. He should be watching film instead of going on a honeymoon.
  14. It will depend on how much the defense improves. Beane basically moved heaven and earth this offseason to improve it. We all know Allen and the offense will produce. But will the defense especially in the playoffs when facing good QBs with good offenses. If they can then the Bills have an excellent chance to win a Super Bowl. If not, then everybody knows what will happen as we have seen how it has played out over the years.
  15. I live in Atlanta too. And the Falcons are definitely not overhyped to say the least. I do like them more then the Braves though. Pitts' play has been underwhelming to say the least. Guy doesn't play nearly as fast as his 40 time. Is not twitchy in the slightest. I also think the Falcons coaching has been pretty lousy since he came in the league. Arthur Smith just wanted to run the ball. And is no passing guru. And Raheem Morris is marginal also. Maybe a change of scenery is what the guy needs to realize his potential. But I would not hold my breath. Seems like a Cowboys move to overtrade for a guy like Pitts. LOL
  16. My wife runs her business through Etsy. She creates custom banners for churches and ships them throughout the US. She and the buyer discuss the plan, swap a few design ideas, agree on the product and then she creates and ships it. Last week she got a request for a banner for an Episcopal Church. The guy wanted the official Episcopal symbol with a "pride " thing added, sewn onto the lower left quadrant of the 4x3 banner. She politely told him she would gladly do the Episcopal symbol, but not the pride portion. She mentioned she didn't want to create any banner that could be remotely political. Anyway, she gets more business than she cares to handle, so no problem.
  17. I have a different viewpoint. As an Army officer, I once took an oath to not lie, cheat, or steal; nor tolerate those who do. To paraphrase Kant's 'categorical imperative' a bit: we should all act in a way that we would want everyone to act. And the world would be a better place if none of us lied, cheated, or stole. And yet, from a practical standpoint, it does seem to be true that the people who deflect and deny fare better than the small minority that doesn't. Sadly, the pragmatist's approach generally provides better outcomes.
  18. I’m sure the rules are a little different when you’re pulling in $55 million a year. 😂
  19. I tend to apply Occam's razor to these questions. Musk and Booker both have been public figures for quite some time. Based on everything they've said and done over the years what are the odds that either one of them is secretly a Nazi, and then outed themselves in spectacular fashion in front of large audiences? Somewhere in the neighborhood of zero point zero is my guess.
  20. He hasn't stated anything and it's been a week. His first public comments since the boat episode is some drama at Cardi B's ex. I could easily see them cutting him and I hope they do. F the Pats.
  21. This is very assumptive. Feels like this is based on ‘pure emotion only.’
