  1. Past hour
  2. That's awesome. I'll bet that was a great experience. My dad did an Alaska trip and it was probably one of his top moments in life
  3. oh man I hope the team sees this. I dont think anyone in the organization knows the ravens are good and will want to win. Fingers crossed. Should we pool our money and send them the new 4k UHD discs to watch this?
  4. Shakir was also like a 2nd year WR that was a former 5th Round pick, Moore's a veteran and former 2nd round pick.
  5. Hamlin is the Safety version of Levi Wallace. Half-a$$ attempts by McBeane to replace him and after Bishop’s development has been slowed by injuries here we are again staring at Hamlin starting opening day.
  6. And that may be by design - test your secondary to disrupt the catch point... and tackle. You also get an advantage of being able to get eyes on QB. Yesterday to me indicated that they need work on both. You can't play press man all game long - there's tons of motion and natural picks - you're also setting up players to get roasted by double moves.
  7. We were in DC with another couple for a sightseeing weekend when that occurred. We heard chants coming from SCOTUS and headed over. Our friends were traditional (real) republicans then and we were D's. We all just watched with mouths agape as the protests swelled and the TV cameras and personalities reported. Our friends are now D's.... nice try to twist things out of context. it's your mo. it's why you never post in a straightforward manner. you try to hide your deceit but it doesn't work. he assumed she didn't have a life. Fact is, she has a very successful one. Simple.
  8. but will it have a dome??
  9. Lamar Jackson and the Ravens will be coming into Buffalo week 1 like Clubber Lang in the first fight of Rocky 3. This Bills team needs to get their head out of the clouds and get ready or we're going to get knocked out week 1 and stumble out of the gates. Hard knocks will literally follow if they don't.
  10. I’ll take your word on all these stats. I think Jerry Ostroski summed up the game in the most accurate way. In summary, he said you had 2 teams approaching the game in two different ways. The Bears playing at home trying to change the culture and win the game. The Bills already established team were trying to evaluate their players. Last night’s game was important for some Bills players trying to make the roster. I will say I have some concern at Safety.
  11. Ok so I am here... I get it is only pre season... I get that the defense is vanilla, I get our starters or some of them havent really played... I get that the don;t game plan for preseason.. and mostly, I get that the results of the game don't count... but in some respect matter.... If I saw a competitive game where we lost.. then yeah, whatever... but when I watch pre season, I am looking for a couple of things.. 1. Who are the players that we brought in ( especially thru the draft) that pop... every team has them... the ones that you look at and go this guy gives us hope for the future, hope that we are upgrading our talent... not polished yet, but hey we got some one here. 2. That there is some level of change to a defensive unit that was legitimately bad, that a 2nd year coordinator learned some lessons and improved that maybe )see point 1) that those people that we invested all that draft capital in were going to help us... That maybe the pass rush improved, that maybe we wouldnt get gashed on the ground for 6 yards a pop, that maybe we would have someone within 30 yards of their best reciever on the field as if he actually mattered... maybe we could get off the field on 3rd down . not give up 3rd and long, understand that the soft zone coverage was soul sucking... What I saw was... no one and I mean no one on defense actually made a play. maybe Hancock.. no one even against Bears back ups pressured the QB, and those players we drafted, Jackson, Walker, Sanders showed me close to nothing against Bears backups, Hamlin and Bishop looked like keystone cops doing a fire drill we were hoping Bishop would progress even a little, the fact that Hamlin is still there is disturbing... wrong angles, bad tacking was rampant, and simply getting blown off the ball with very little penetration, gap integrity or disruption was rampant... we made Beasant look like a top 10 qb in this league... I saw no change from last years scheme, I saw the same gashing on the ground, the same bad tacking, the same soft zone, the same lack of pass rush, the same giving up 3rd and long etc.. I saw nothing that Babich did to show me that he learned some lessons... and I saw it two weeks in a row against two bottom feeding teams... Panic, no put 100% stock in it, no... call the season and the players a bust, no... but call it what it is... I see no signs of improvement, no signs that we have actually drafted players that are going to upgrade us especially on the D Line, no Free agents like Hoecht or whomever that are coming to save the pass rush, no signs that we have improved out horrific DB situation... maybe there is and i am missing it... but I sure as sh$t havent seen it... what does that mean... well we wait, we see, we hope, but it just became very difficult to feel good about that hope realistically... things change, maybe this is all bunk, but from where I stand... my hope for improvement is pretty dim... time will tell.
  12. McDermott has never said he’s a “defensive genius”. Rex Ryan said he was a “defensive genius”.
  13. Neither one made a good showing last night ! I was hoping last. year that the guy they got to take Hamlin's place that was injured that they would have at least gave him a shot but didn't and he bolted which I can't blame him . Hamlin is at very best a depth player if they start him again it will be another long season on D but I would hope they can see what we all do and don;;t allow their emotions to play a role in their decision !! At least Bishop is younger and has possibilities of getting better Hamlin has hit his ceiling & it's not very high .
  14. Two weeks until Belichick & Co. take center stage on Monday night vs. TCU. It will be the only CFB game that day/night. I plan to be there; the atmosphere will no doubt be electric and there are few college football venues more visually appealing than Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill. Huge early test against a program that has established itself as a legitimate player. Based upon their schedule, if the Heels win this one they will likely not lose until a 10/4 matchup vs. Clemson (in Chapel Hill). It’s about to get real!
  15. I love these posts. The bears probably spent like 100k for a study of the best place to build the new stadium, had countless meetings with state and govt officials, held town halls with citizens and finally, after all that, were able to agree on a site. But then somebody comes on a message board and is like "why not downtown?"
  16. No. He challenged a Bears "catch" and won the challenge it was incomplete
  17. Tre to safety has been talked about so much in the past. Not ruffled just trying to nip it in the bud.
  18. People are upset because either Bishop or Hamlin are expected to start at Safety, and both looked terrible. Epenesa, Jackson, Solomon, Sanders and Walker will be factoring heavily into the D-Line rotation, and all were invisible. Andreesen and Williams are our primary backups at the often-injured Linebacker position, and all looked lost. The score doesn't matter. But the fact that all these individuals played like trash is concerning, because all of them will absolutely be playing snaps this year.
  19. I never understood the forrest signing personally and he is a part of a below average to average group of free agents that were brought in to play defense this offseason. More than likely ogunjobi and forrest get cut. Here is what Joe Buscaglia had to say. CB Ja’Marcus Ingram, S Darrick Forrest and LB Edefuan Ulofoshio The preseason depth chart was unkind to these three defensive players, who all had hopes of making the 53-man roster this year. Ingram, who made the team in 2024, was clearly behind both Dane Jackson and rookie Dorian Strong, which might mean Ingram is on the wrong side of the bubble at the moment. Some had high hopes for Forrest, but after being passed by the rookie Hancock over the last two weeks, the recently signed Tre Herndon got in Sunday’s game ahead of Forrest. That is a likely ominous sign. Ulofoshio is clearly behind Joe Andreessen on the depth chart, and in his opportunity on the field, missed some tackles and got beaten in coverage. With Shaq Thompson nearing a return from injury, Ulofoshio has his work cut out for him to secure a spot.
  20. Thank you for that I just didn't .
  21. It is pre-season and a big teachable moment for the young guys and backups... this the NFL not college... glad the Bears schemed against the Bills... knocked the arrogance off in a game that didnt matter... young guys need to learn to study.
  22. As a Bills fan, I’m going to be thinking about this issue all day.
  23. The D line rotation , albeit not the starters, did not look good. No pressure on passing downs and few stops on run plays. I was hoping for a few splash plays of individual effort. Was disappointed.
  24. From anything I saw last night I would have to agree ! Given the hype when they brought him here and what he has put on the field I'd say he's gone and Shavers would be a better person to give a roster spot to .
  25. I expected a bit more out of many that played last night but didn't get it ! Shavers is the only one that really did anything that stood out and then was still not spectacular . None of the newer WR's showed me anything as far as Moore, Wilkerson, Palmer (not sure if I actually caught any of his play) didn't splash at all, we can only hope that was in part QB play and that Josh will make them better ... Over all not a good night !!!
