Their Ice Cream Cakes (I think they call them ice cream pies) are absolutely killer. Fudge and that cookie crumble....mmmmmmmm -

Do the Bills Even Have a Hated Division Rival?
zow2 replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall
I consider all the AFC East as rivals, but i hate the Jets the most. Probably stems from my college years in the mid- 80's and just too many guys on my floor were Jets fans and so obnoxious and in my face. -

Down to only 8 "no practice" guys...the list is getting shorter! -
Point was to get some urgency/push Beane back into conversations. Could mean we are close to a deal OR could mean Cooks reps are happy with the "plan". The plan could be waiting for roster cutdowns/seeing what $ we free up in 25 but also in 26 --- perhaps a deal leading up to week 1.

Out but he has to be very close to returning with his hammy. Beane said as much last week, and Coach says limitation is cutting/lateral as of last week (straight line hes fine). Usually with a hammy, once you can go straight its 7-10 days of rehab to get lateral movement without re injury. Depending on severity of course, but going off Beane and Coach comments, I'd expect end of week hes at least "limited". -
If we don't hear about an extension soon then I don't get this ploy by Cook and his agent.

I'm in a FB group that's been keeping track of a PSL map as new sections have opened up. I think it's pretty complete now...

no mention of the military take over of DC on Fox front page today. Instead, a piece on the sick culture of Alabama's sororities which has been fully covered in a documentary. Have you or anyone ever sat in corner seats? My new seats are in the corner, just wondering how good the view generally is, particularly when the game is at the far end of the stadium.

So it should be clear we won’t get there rushing 4

I mean, it didn't really take that long. I saw posters saying that our Defense was going be awful this year, because the Defense was not better than Offense at the first training camp practice. This guy was down right patient with his analysis. -

I'd be interested in how anyone could design a social policy to prevent homelessness. Because there are lots of causes, some chronic and some circumstantial. A person could be homeless because of a divorce, domestic abuse, death of a spouse, bankruptcy, loss of a job, chronic drug or alcohol addiction. Or they could simply have made the decision to "drop out" of society and deal with the consequences of the decision. I'm not a fan of the idea that pushing people out of the neighborhood solves the problem because they still have to go somewhere else. And I don't think a more "robust welfare net" is the answer. Its a do more of what's not working until it works type of solution. I'm not against the idea of helping people but from my experience of helping people it can go one of two ways. They're motivated to get back on their feet and use the support and financial assistance provided as a catalyst for them getting their life on track. Or, they become comfortable with the financial and other types of assistance and chose to spend their time doing nothing much to improve their situation. Because taking the assistance is easier than working. I think any assistance programs should be designed by social services experts, exclusive of any political motivation of any kind, to deal with both situations.

President Trump Cracking down on Crime in our Nation's Capital
Wacka replied to B-Man's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
DC has always been unsafe. We were planning to go DC foer a vacation i the summer of 1968 but MLK was shot and the riots occurred in many cities. So my parents switched plans and we spent a week traveling around the perimeter of NYS. We avoided NYC for the same reasons as DC. Got to visit NYC in 1991 and DC in 86 and 88.
