Davis came back in, if you had watched the game. Again, both teams missing players. Buffalo missing CB1, best DT, their MLB, and a situational player in Hoecht. Could it just be that teams are figuring out how to run on NE? Possible, or maybe Williams is the missing cog. We shall see when NE plays next week.

Nothing wrong with expecting more out of the team / coaching staff at this point. We've seen the regular season glory time and again. Josh taking over games. What has it led to? A lot of disappointment in the playoffs. The team must be capable of playing two decent halves. Starting a little slow is one thing. Looking lost in the first half of the majority of games is another. Sorry that as a fan I'm happy but not content. Giggle on if that what suits you.

I brought it up because you said something like ‘obviously maye will only get better’ which is not obvious. Nfl careers often don’t go that way. Really isn’t rocket science here He may get even better he may not. I’m not predicting he will flame out after year 2 but year 2 could possibly be his peak output.

He was very ordinary today. He doesn't scare me in a rematch at all.

For ME I put him top of his draft class right now followed by Caleb and Daniel’s .. I’m interested see how Maye handles the rest of the year simply because this is the most games he has ever played in a season now.

I think it’s Stafford’s to lose. hes never won it and it’s his likely last shot. The Rams are probably the most impressive team top to bottom. I’m kind of okay with it honestly. It probably gets him in the Hall and he had HoF talent that went to waste in Detroit,

I also don't get the comparisons of Maye to Josh at this stage - bc he is tall? Josh was a wild massive bull/stallion with a bazooka arm and 'accuracy issues' who looked to bowl people over (when he wasn't hurdling them). Maye throws a good deep ball and is mostly accurate and scrambles straight ahead. He doesn't match Josh for size, strength (arm and overall), athleticism, attitude or overall 'superman' traits. And some of those he will never have. I really don't look at him and think that Josh is what he will become. I don't see and 'superman' in him. I think Stroud more than anyone when I think of Maye - people losing their minds his first year then everything coming back to earth once teams figure him out

Appreciate the reply. Can I ask why the about face? Why suddenly say "Allen and the Bills are leaning heavily on Cook" now rather than saying that whilst Josh was legitimately having down periods earlier in the season, and getting criticism for it?

It's always pathetic when opposing fans try to "sue for peace" after the game. It's a futile effort, give it a rest.

I think just as important of a question to ask: Has James Cook put himself in the race for Offensive PoY? Earlier in the season Johnathan Taylor looked like a shoo in. He's cooled off. Cook has been stacking the yards and TDs. He's got to be in the convo IMO

Yeah, it's not easy to beat a good team coming off a bye. I hope Benford is back for the Philly game. The Bills should be able to handle Cleveland without him.

Cooks can run. But his receiving skills are gone. Get Davis playing and sit Palmer. And throw the ball to Shavers!! Would anyone mind if next year we had completely new WR's except for Shakir? Agree though to keep feeding the RB's and TE's. I have had my negative comments about Knox at times. But this is the best I can remember him looking in back to back games.

I love a rematch hopefully for the right to go to the SB first of many rubber matches between the two for years to come hopefully.

Its an honest question, and some reason you are deflecting now. You initially reacted all shocked that someone compared Maye to Herbert? The reacted to me when I asked if you thought he was better. Now, you are deflecting. Honest question, I dont even know where you rank him amongst his peers.
