They were never going to get their demands from Trump and the Republican Senate. The shutdown accomplished a couple things: it probably took Trump's approval down a tick or two and, more importantly, ensured that Democratic turnout would be higher in the VA/NJ races. I haven't seen specific language in the Senate deal, but if it includes a commitment that Thune will take an extension of Obamacare subsidies to a vote, AND if that somehow happens on the House side too, then the Dems make every Republican publicly vote on that specific issue, which they will use in the midterms. It is what it is.

What is funny to me is you don't even realize you just shut down any criticism you have ever had of any player, coach, GM etc in the history of being on TSW - because how could you ever know better or know more than who you are criticizing - those are your literal words here. And considering you are pretty much negative year round, that would make almost every post you have ever made irrelevant based on your own words here. So if someone criticizes Brady, Beane, McD, Allen, etc - how could they know better than them right...unless of course it fits your own opinion or bias, then it's spot on right? lmao But hey, thanks for making it clear that you think the coaches, Beane, Allen, etc are flawless and that you will never criticize any of them ever again, because how could you ever know better than them right. Pretty weird to have a post/thread disappear entirely without getting a message as for what it was about. If it was something you posted in a gameday thread or the MNF thread, I can maybe see that happening since those are moderated in a way that...well...I'll just say I really appreciate the work the mods do on here as I've been in that position before having grown up on and been a mod of a few forums back in the day.

I tend to agree with you on this. One thing I forgot and (have since updated the post with) is that open roster spot will probably go to T.J. Sanders returning from IR. But again, we still would have only needed to temporarily release 1 from the PS to fit Hardman on.

Because maybe both shouldn't be here! It's a discussion about what the fans deem as a better option for either. It hurts more to have the same exact thing happen year after year when we all can see the glaring weaknesses this team has, and our GM does very little about it, and then tries when its too late. On top of that screaming about how he is right and we all are wrong about those weaknesses.

Could be worse. Some boards, like the 49ers and Ravens, have single threads for each player that span back to their draft pick. Imagine a 30,000 page thread on Josh Allen being the only place you can talk about that player. That's what the Ravens board has for Lamar Jackson. Here, I don't think anyone wants to remember their draft night hot takes on Josh.
