  1. Past hour
  2. I dunno about “going away”, weren’t the Cardinals driving to tie it up in the 4th quarter? Either way, I fully expect us to come out flat against the Ravens, hope I eat some crow on that prediction
  3. In fairness, Sul was clutch the year we got him. Dude was a ball hawk for the rest of the year for us. I don't know how he fell off so fast last year.
  4. He takes enough hits and we need to get White or Trubisky (or their replacement) as many reps as possible.
  5. Nothing was capitalized, so I don't believe it.
  6. sure. it's not sustainable or realistic to have a military police presence indefinitely. it's also not desirable to see automatic weapons carried openly in the nation's capital. looks like a 3rd world dictatorship. And it's unconstitutional to use the military in this way in other cities. but maga's ceded the power of the constitution long ago.
  7. 3 firsts. No chance
  8. Jackson will be fine. I have a friend who was an All-American DL at Tenn and had a tough time sticking in the NFL. He said the size, speed and talent difference between college football and pro football is hard to comprehend. He said it takes even really good players time to adjust and some never do. It’s way some of this discussion is premature. There is often a huge jump between year 1 and year 2. Just look at Cook, Shakir, Bernard, and Rousseau for recent examples. However, sometimes the jump takes longer. Look at Poyer and Hyde. Both become starters in their 4th seasons, but were allowed to walk at FAs. Neither was thought of a a future all-pro until they got to Buffalo in year 5. This is why I’m being very patient with Bishop. The speed is there and so is the football IQ. It’s really about staying healthy and adjusting to the speed of the NFL.
  9. Then rebounded and won going away
  10. BOO! Boo this pantomime Joe Marino! 😠 * 😁 * One thing I wonder about these strength and conditioning programs is how 'cookie cutter' are the stretches that the players are performing? In most cases, these players are highly toned individuals with freakish physiques. Do these muscle bound sorts forever dance on the edge of a muscle or tendon going snap? Add to that the force of being hit or landing wrong can raise hell. * I ran recreationally for many years, and used Bob Anderson's book 'Stretching' as my guide. He was adamant about quad stretches, advising that the leg being stretched was held by the opposite hand. Doing this lessened any rotation on the knee joint, lessening the chances for injury. There are plenty of half-assed guides showing any number of ways to (improperly) stretch quads. Even look at those guddam advertisements hawking sportswear and sports shoes. There are just as many athletes who don't know when and how to properly stretch. All small missteps on the way to potential injuries.
  11. In other words, you didn’t know Sweden is not a significant oil producer.
  12. Should have known, once he got married he would start taking the easy way out.
  13. Ive not responded on purpose only to say, im sorry he may have felt threatened and unfair to him. To others, he’s not responsible for his irresponsible son. Shooting at an innocent man is just wrong. I truly hope he is ok moving forward, and on the football side, we can beat him the right way. I don’t believe any of you would be culpable of a horrific crime. As much as i love my team, id never even want an opposing player to have an injury. I hate when posters do that stuff.
  14. I saw a rumor account float AJ Epenesa, Curtis Samuel and 3 1st Round Picks for Micah Parsons. And honestly, (it won’t happen) but I’d do that. Parsons, Rousseau and Hoecht would be a monster trio for the foreseeable future. We’ve already spent a ton of draft capital in surround Ed with DT’s. Our two outside CB spots are theoretically locked down with Benford/Hairston. I’m assuming we extend one of McGovern or Torrence which gives us 3 strong pillars of an OL with Josh, Cook long term and Palmer, Shakir and Coleman all long term. If all goes well, add Kincaid. So for the next 3 years, if your Beane evaluating this, he’s thinking we will only really need to be addressing IOL, LB, Safety & WR in terms of expiring contracts and question marks. All positions that high end talent can be found on Day Two.
  15. Is it too early to call him a bust?
  16. I find it funny our GM traded 3rd round picks in back to back years. For rasuul and coop. And both are washed and not signed / in the league.
  17. Dude cant even make the field over Trubisky and White. Sad.
  18. Week 1 is always weird league wide
  19. I think you mean 50 new "Fire McDermott" threads will be created. They can't do that this year and expect to be 1-0.
  20. Surprised no one has signed him yet. Do the Bills have the cap space for him?
  21. They came out pretty flat against the Cardinals last year in the season opener.
