  1. Past hour
  2. I absolutely understand his mentality on last night and I pretty much agree with everything you said. Just don't think it's worth calling out, we've earned that. My humble opinion. Now, if this becomes a trend and we can't keep butts in seats no matter what then I'll gladly change my tune, but we spent a lot of time, money, and emotions in the tough years on this team, which is why I look at it like a fluke. It was late, we were down, we didn't come back last September, long drives ahead, especially for the Canadians. It's just a lot of things, he should have let it be but called us out on the field and again in the press room. I personally didn't think it was worth doing that.
  3. Do we have to explain this to you again?
  4. I saw the same thing - 48 second mark
  5. Hawes is legit an excellent blocker. It's refreshing to have a guy come in and actually display the bold print skill in his draft profile. As far as his catch, it was pretty lucky. Gotta catch it away from the body and he waited for it to hit his chest. Maybe it was just the angle of the throw or whatever that kept him from getting his hands out but most of the time the bounce isn't going to be that fortunate.
  6. Started reaching to some old contacts to get a feel of what else is happening in my industry. It’s becoming more and more current role isn’t going to work and frankly, I need a paycheck. I’m considering going back to school and started researching some programs for mental health counseling. That was my original goal when I started college and I talked myself out of it. If I do go back to school, I told my wife I’d have the plan set by January 1st. Whether that’s starting something right then, or planning for the fall Thanks for all the perspective in this thread. Helped me collect my thoughts a bit
  7. Gilliam plays a big special teams role. Not sure Hawes does that.
  8. Yep. That is what I saw too. I was glad it was a chip shot.
  9. Strong got killed on crossers throughout the game. Besides that he was decent, and did make a nice save on Henry.
  10. I said that the Bills are a good team so they took advantage of it. That would imply that they also adjusted. But the Ravens went into a soft Cover 2 and put Alexander out there more than earlier in the game. I hope you didn't take this as me saying something negative about the Bills.
  11. The Coup de grace finish following Josh’s epic 4th. It was a thing of beauty.
  12. It was also a smartly executed tackle. He sacrificed an extra half second to make sure he had the body position to deliver a take-down hit. He could have gone for the tackle a little sooner, but he probably would have whiffed or been stiff-armed into oblivion.
  13. That was a ball buster - I lived in Dallas at the time.
  14. Also possible. Also frankly if a couplen of bad play checks are what I have to suffer for Josh Allen being Josh Allen I will take it.
  15. Russia hits Ukraine with biggest air attack of war, sets govt building ablaze Reuters, by Staff Russia launched its largest air attack of the war on Ukraine overnight, setting the main government building on fire in central Kyiv and killing at least four people, including an infant, Ukrainian officials said on Sunday. President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said the drone and missile barrage killed four people and caused damage across the north, south and east of the country, including the cities of Zaporizhzhia, Kryvyi Rih and Odesa, as well as in the Sumy and Chernihiv regions. "Such killings now, when real diplomacy could have already begun long ago, are a deliberate crime and a prolongation of the war," Zelenskiy said in a post on X https://www.thenews.com.pk/latest/1341930-russia-hits-ukraine-with-biggest-air-attack-of-war-sets-government-building-ablaze
  16. NEGATIVES: * The D was overall trash! Pure and simple. And it is VERY disconcerting that sooo much Beanie capital as expended on the D and it turned up snake eyes! As bad as 2024! They gave up: 5 plays of 30 or more; 8 plays of 20 yards or more; 4 TDs of 20 or more; 200+ Rushing yards; 8 yards per play! Good Gawd, that’s horrific! Now I know it was the Ravens and King Henry, arguably the 1A to the Bills 1 in the AFC and hopefully the PED Boys 🙄 will help at the break, but get it together! * 2 Point Conversions? Low quality conversion fades? Throw out ALL that trash in the playbook. Invent new stuff, particularly Read Option 17 rollout. POSITIVES: * ALL of us better drink in these performances of the Unicorn! A decade down the road, he will be in the running for the GOAT QB! He does shite nobody can do and you are obviously NEVER out of it with him winging & running. * Coleman? He’s coming! * Palmer? Yeah… good. * The OL once more. * Finally, for the rest of the season, the Bills have the 30th Ranked Sked in terms of difficulty! Yeah, you gotta play the games… so play them & let’s lock down the final Playoff SB run at old Rich Stadium! (Says the guy who DID NOT leave from the greatest Playoff comeback in NFL history! )
  17. We weren't able to get affordable tickets while we tailgated so experiencing a pretty solid FOMO hangover this morning.. then again I'm a believer in the butterfly effect so I've convinced myself that 4th down deflection TD would have fallen incomplete if we went
  18. He may develop into a true draft steal.
  19. One extremely soft PI call compared to what the ravens (and bills to some extent later on) were getting away with lol. That call hurt to watch during my rewatch right now
  20. Why do people keep saying Bishop is athletic? Are there examples of plays where he shows this consistently?
  21. Wide Right. Music City Miracle. 13 Seconds.
  22. I will say the Ravens did just as much to lose it as the Bills did to win it. For instance, the last time they had the ball. What was that play calling? All they needed was a 1st down to basically ice the game. They hand off to Henry for a short gain. Ok. Then they go with a jet sweep to Flowers followed by a pass short of the sticks. If they run their read option three straight times they likely pick up a first. They did everything they could to give the Bills an opportunity...and the Bills capitalized.
  23. I think the sample size (1 game) is still too small to pass judgment on this defense as a whole. Yes there were some really bad plays, but there were also some really good plays. And we won! (which ultimately is all that matters, I think we can agree) The coming weeks and playing other teams will give a better idea of what this unit is actually capable of.
  24. Yup I said in another thread that everyone was celebrating after the kick and you can see Walker walking off the field what looks to be frustrated or angry. He knew he screwed up and almost cost the team the game. Hes gonna get chewed in ST meetings. Good news is it went through and I bet he won’t do it again now
  25. GB, you're right. And yet... Harbaugh chose to rush 3 for at least part of the 4th because he believed that gave him the best chance of winning. Rushing 3 meant he had 8 guys in coverage versus our 4 or 5 out on routes. Maybe only 7 guys in coverage if Harbaugh left a spy on Josh. Still, considering the Ravens have good coverage guys and our receivers are, reportedly, poor at separation, that would seem to give them the advantage. Yet Josh threw for 269 yards in the 4th quarter alone, mostly to subpar wideouts. Maybe the wideouts aren't as bad as some folks think. It's interesting that Samuel and Moore have both started about half their NFL games yet aren't good enough to start for us. I don't think our starters are elite by any means - Josh deserves better. But they're not entirely woeful either. Still, Josh is the engine that makes this passing game work. I started this thread to see if anybody has a different take and, of couse, some do and I respect that. But IMHO the scheme, play-calling, and 10-man talent are average-ish. Josh elevates everything.
  26. You can't really say one is better than the other, either way. They are both equally amazing, and I don't think it's fair to blame Lamar for the Ravens' failures. He did have that bonehead fumble in the snow last year, but other than that he has been phenomenal vs. Buffalo.
