As I said in the game thread, the NFL has decided to tightly officiate the tush push on every team except for the one that runs the play 6 times a game and false starts on every single one.

Greg Olsen is really growing on me as a commentator. This is where I am at. I obviously want him to be out there for every play. I want every hand off to go to him. I want to see him more in the passing game, but...there is the load management portion. We don't need him to be at his best now, but in the playoffs. I keep thinking about how much he has improved. He, obviously did not look this good in his first few seasons. He looked good last year, but not this great. I love how quick he looks in and out of cuts. I thought his contract was a bit of a bargain considering his production last year. He has way out performed that contract. Side note - I love the pitches he was getting yesterday. There were times you could see the run was going to work before the ball was snapped.

someone pointed out Keons body language in the post game locker room speech. It didn't look good, seemed aggravated, barely clapping One of the rare times I switched to Redzone around 8 min to go but they said he was playing with Mitch n the backups? Is that true?

Enought with the fatalism. Everyone here only has a model of a division with one dominant team and three doormats. Yes, the Pats are a lot better and might win the division this year. That was bound to happen when they amassed all those high draft picks and cap space. But that doesn't mean that the Bills time is over and we'll go back to sucking. I live in AFC North country, where there are at least two annual contenders for the division and sometimes three. You have the same situation right now in the NFC North, NFC West, and AFC West. With the way that the NFL is set up, one team dominating a division for a long period of time should be the exception, not the rule. -

Yesterday was a good start for the defense, aside from losing Oliver to injury again. -

Ah, that must be what it was. And then maybe Ingram’s 7 snaps were for Taron at slot CB… -
That is Hailee's job.

Personally i thought it would take half way through the season to understand the capabilities of our defense. Let hope this is the start of a trend and not an event. KC will be a HUGE test -

Don't rule out Denver. That defense is no joke. They did a good job against a good Cowboys offense. Nix is another young QB who is developing into a really good player. -
People smarter than me would know better, but my first watch of this version of the play with the dots makes me think we mis-ID'd the defense as cover 2 zone and the defense basically played it as cover 3 (with maybe some matching principles?). With what I'm assuming they thought was cover 2, I'm guessing they thought they were ultimately going to get Moore open in the corner or be able to check it down to Kincaid/Shakir if the defense tracked Moore well. Instead, the play basically went right into the strengths of the defense. And then on the backside, Keon actually wins pretty quickly to the inside but the safety over there is closing down on Ty Johnson and in doing so, closes the window for us to get to Coleman too.

Someone should make sure to point Josh to this thread. So he can understand what's wrong with him.

Pats vs Colts AFC Championship game? That would piss me off lol... still don't think the Pats have paid their dues long enough from their amazing B & B run of success. -
Yea it was gruesome. FOX didn't show the replay I don't think

Have the Bengals given up yet? Tee Higgins would look good in a Bills uniform. -
Huge bummer. Fan of him since seeing him in a bowl game last year, and was doing great on my fantasy team. Hoping he can recover!

Seriously, it is like he thinks he is the Cat in the Hat. (reading those books to the grandkids...Hot Take - Cat in the Hat is good, but Cat in the Hat Comes Back is better 😀) -
Shakir can also make something out of nothing. He did yesterday.

We also need to find a way to keep him fresh for the postseason. Wish we had another capable back to take some of the load off.
