  1. Past hour
  2. When you have wasted some much cap space on your DL then it is going to impact other places. Our front seven including the LBs are making a ton of money that is not justified in the returns.
  3. There's a thousand guys like that hanging in the balance who have been serving their dues If he's in NFL offensive coordinator for 5 to 10 years that's a success Instantly calling him an NFL head coach is very premature
  4. LET US IN LET US IN LET US IN LET US IN Said the paid protesters that arrived on a bus.
  5. I see you're out on parole again! Why don't you accept my phone calls?!? You want my commissary but you don't want to talk to me And that hurts
  6. In regards to the first, President Trump himself has said he hasn't been able to stop Pooty Poot from doing anything. He said the talks to Pooty Poot on the phone and thinks he has things worked out. Then he hangs up and Melina tells him Russia is dropping bombs. What exactly is President Trump.stopping him from doing?
  7. They all suck and Beane should be called out again for the garbage war's he has given Allen, compare this with what other elite QB'S in this league have to work with
  8. overall it's nothing, lot of these guys will never see the field, it's just bit concerning watching our 2nd/3rd stringers get dominated. Just a year or 2 ago we won every pre season game under McDermott I would much rather see how the joint practices went
  9. Plus they gave him $2M in guaranteed money
  10. football is my life and I literally found any reason to not even watch tonight lol I could care less about all the reactions.. We're talking about we have six or seven open roster spots on our 53... This is not indictive of how our roster will play like opening day We realistically have 10 guys fighting for six spots.. compare that to the bears who have probably have 30 guys fighting for their NFL job I'd rather not even break this down then worry
  11. And this is why I constantly say I'd rather just invest more in the offense. I don't know how many times I can say it, but spending all the picks & money trying to get the defense right ultimately won't matter as long as McDermott is here. Yes, it's preseason, but this just shows that if any starter goes down (and they will), they have no depth behind them.
  12. He’s not getting cut. Those guys watched him die on the field. Is what it is
  13. Shavers is a lock. He’s earned his spot. Moore or Samuel will be cut.
  14. Shavers is looking better than Moore. I think Shavers will make the active roster. Kristian Wilkerson looks like he's practice squad bound. I know that we are talking about receivers in this thread, but I must say that I like what I've seen from Jimmy Ciarlo. His impact is on special teams, and because of that he will also make it to the practice squad.
  15. The optimism about Moore after we signed him got way way out of control. Many people on here thought he was going to have a bigger role than Keon Coleman. Fans acted like because he's never had good QB play that means his entire career up to this point didn't count. It turns out the NFL does a pretty good job of evaluating its own talent. There's a reason a top 35 pick was cut by his original team after just two seasons, his next team showed no interest in bringing him back, and he was still available to be signed after the draft. People have to learn to let their draft crushes go and accept that some players can have all the talent in the world and still never acclimate to the NFL. Before this game I would have given him a 70% chance of making the roster. Now I'd say just below 50%, and it's only that high because I think they may keep 6 WRs due to Samuel's injury. If the final spot comes down to Moore vs Shavers I don't know how the coaches can look the locker room in the eyes and tell them Moore won that competition. Shavers has played better and he contributes more on special teams. In fact I might put Wilkerson ahead of Moore at this point.
  16. lol - Never change Jimmy
  17. We should be concerned when it's game 3 in the regular season and the defense is still NOT showing up. Will the McDermott Defense Force please stand up if that happens?
  18. I said it after the first preseason game that I think, and the race and battle isn’t over, but I think Shavers has edged his way ahead in this battle. And I was pretty confident Moore was going to make this roster prior to that, but I think Shavers is doing everything he can to change that.
  19. Shavers & Wilkerson have impressed me more than Samuel & Moore. And the more I watch Bishop fail, the more sad I get re: we could've used that pick to get BTJ.
  20. Today
  21. They had the chance to let him walk and could picked up one of the top safeties in the draft. But here we are.
  22. I must admit that I thought Elijah Moore was a lock to make the roster when he was signed...now I am not so sure. Granted we have not seen him on the field with Josh Allen in a game, but I haven't seen anything from him in camp or in the games. I really thought he was going to make the most of this opportunity, but if Samuel is healthy, he has a legitimate chance of losing the final receiver spot to Shavers. Thoughts??
  23. Why do people still think this matters in 2025? We could make the cap space to sign anyone we wanted, if we wanted.
  24. It's the 51st largest metro though, and when you consider the proximity to other significant cities it's not nearly as small a market as people make it out to be.
  25. No season is complete without a visit from you and @Howard
