  1. Past hour
  2. It seems likely that you want it to be a sham case but based on everything you’ve learned about the guy, do you expect it to be?
  3. Angelo Crowell ......... pretty damn good LB. I think he had a knee injury and only played 4 years.
  4. Everything about the timing, charges, the prosecutor resigning asap….seems at best suspect. If this turns out to be a sham case…this administration has taken a sharp turn toward a very bad place
  5. Woman, take me in your arms Rock your baby Woman, take me in your arms Rock your baby There's nothin' to it Just say you wanna do it Open up your heart And let the lovin' start
  6. Wish her all the best. She was a great spokesperson for the bills prior to her stroke. I hope the team can bring her a championship
  7. The Oilers were trying to fight the good fight and lay it on the line but ultimately could not...win.
  8. Lewis is in no danger of being poached if cut with the intention of putting him on the PS. A promising rookie...not so much.
  9. Watch the 1965 AFL Championship game; the Chargers didn't score in that game, but he was the weak link. Art Laster or Carlester Crumpler
  10. For any PPP lurkers voting in the NYC mayoral primary…I will share with you my official top-5 ranked-choice vote, after much contemplation: 1. Zohran Mamdani (Queens) 2. Brad Lander (Brooklyn) 3. Zellnor Myrie (Brooklyn) 4. Jessica Ramos (Queens) 5. Scott Stringer (Manhattan) Adrienne Adams (Queens) is AOC’s second choice and also Julia Salazar’s fourth choice. Adrienne comes across as super “meh” to me, so I’m not sure what the ranked-choice strategy might be here. Neither AOC nor Julia chose to rank Jessica Ramos. Since I’m not privy to any of the drama surrounding Jessica’s sudden decision to endorse Cuomo, I just put together my own ranking with a heavy emphasis on policy. FWIW: I’m your basic social democracy progressive, to the left of a liberal and to the right of a socialist. You’re asking why Zohran hasn’t publicly declared his stance on Sharia law? Simply because no media people in the city have bothered to ask him. Everyone here assumes that he won’t enforce it on NYC if elected mayor because, well, it would be really really weird for a DSA member to want to do that! I’m not even sure how a mayor could go about imposing such a policy on all NYC’ers. Everyone at the moment is more focused on practical issues like public transportation costs, rent controls, child care availability, minimum wages, and grocery store worker co-ops in “food deserts.” Multiculturalism has its benefits: higher tolerances of others, increased levels of professional creativity, better food options, etc… But I also think you’re putting too much stock in my diversity pride remark. It was a frivolous thought, similar to how a native Buffalonian like myself might take pride in the Bills or the snowy climate or the large concentration of Polish-Americans there. The ethnic, national, and religious diversity within NYC is a unique feature. People oftentimes take pride in uniqueness. Having said all that…I’m probably overstating what most NYC’ers actually think about pride in diversity. Most probably don’t bother thinking about it because they’re so accustomed to it.
  11. check THIS out hockey fans 🙂
  12. Yes. 192 career receiving yards. The Bills really squandered a potentially brilliant career. …and WTF kind of name is “Da’Rick?” Is it pronounced like Derek? Or is it closer to duh-RICK?
  13. Some years ago, while at SJF Bills Training Camp, we saw her walking purposefully on her way to a meeting or something. A young couple recognized her and she stopped to be engaged with them, especially their young daughter. As important as she is, she really seemed genuine and wish her all the best on her birthday, and always.
  14. Wait…what? You mean the Sabres have guys they’re actually paying to recommend players who can’t score, skate, hit, or defend? Who knew?
  15. Today
  16. Off the top of my head… Willis McGahee gets loads of hate. More than any player I can think of with his level of production. Rushed for 3,365 & 24 TDs in only 3 years here. Went on to play for another seven years after leaving Buffalo, had bit of a career renaissance at 31 as well when he rushed for 1200 yards in Denver. Edit: That Miami Hurricanes squad produced some legendary players. Their RB depth chart is only rivaled by the Thurman Thomas/Barry Sanders duo in Oklahoma IMO. Frank Gore, Clinton Portis, Willis McGahee as your RB stable is crazyyyy.
  17. Yes, much like last year initial 53 was Rapp, Bishop, Hamlin, and Mike Edwards at S with Lewis listed as CB. This year could be Rapp, Bishop, Forrest and Owens at S with Hancock listed as CB.
  18. Days 1 and 2 are the execs days. They are the guys your GM, your Assistant GM, your Director of Player Personnel, your College Scouting Director and (particularly round 1) your HC and coordinators have looked at in significant detail. The guys on day 3 - by and large - have not had that same level of senior time and attention. The top brass will have watched some tape, but the area scouts and the national scouts carry a lot more weight with those prospects. That is why day 3 of the draft is often referred to as "the scouts day" because it is the day when their evaluations make up a bigger part of the puzzle. And the Bills have had some success there. That usually tells you the guys at that level know what they are doing.
  19. “Now you women cover yourselves up and do what you’re told”
  20. I really wish Kyle Williams was around for this era. I remember his NFL breakout game against the Steelers. The Stevie Johnson drop. He was absolutely obliterating the Steelers G (Willie Colon?) and driving him into the backfield nearly every play. He showed brilliant flashes beforehand, but this was the game where he put it altogether. If not for that inexcusable dropped pass, Kyle would’ve single-handedly won that game on his own. He was an athlete through & through. With his stocky frame, low center of gravity, and acceleration I think Williams would’ve been a HOF level fullback. I truly believe that. Look at how fast he reacts and hits the hole on this play. And this is a DECADE+ into his career.
  21. Thank you. I very much appreciate you setting the record straight on my positions. I also appreciate your willingness to engage me in conversation. There’s no need to rush responses or even respond at all. I’d rather you take the time to carefully read what I write and then do independent study on this topic, for your own verification, using what I’ve written as a guide if needed. I’ll leave you with two important questions on your journey of moral and intellectual enlightenment: 1. What evidence has led the International Association of Genocide Scholars to their virtually unanimous determination that Israel is committing genocide? 2. Why has Israel, since 10/7/23, accelerated its illegal expansion of West Bank settlements and intensified the violence perpetrated against West Bank (i.e. non-Gazan) Palestinians? On a much lighter note…HECK YEAH, I can totally see you rocking the Arthur Fonzarelli look!! The blue jeans, white t-shirt, (faux) leather jacket, and slicked-back hair is a timeless rebel look…quintessential Leh-nerd. You ARE undoubtedly The Fonz. Always remember to choose a fashion aesthetic that best fits your unique personality, Leh-nerd. Do not chase trends. Care to guess what I’m going with today?? Yup: a floral-patterned bell-sleeved skater dress, black sheer tights, and a crown braid. BOOM. Another easy-peasy weekend morning routine for La Commie Kay.
  22. What is wrong with Simone Bikes? The personal insults when in her sport they have to separate men because they are so much stronger.
