The KC Vs Chargers game implications for the Bills
Einstein replied to BigAl2526's topic in The Stadium Wall
Posts like these are stupid and waste space on the forum. The thread poster never said what you claim. in fact, they end their post saying that if the Chargers can somehow win that division, it will make a KC matchup vs Buffalo in the playoffs "less likely". Nothing about KC being done in week 1. -
Ironic that I used the wrong “there”. The jury is still out out on Worthy, the same as it is with Coleman. I believe Worthy had three deep receptions, including the one in the Super Bowl. His average was like 10 yards, but that number is probably skewed by gadget plays. “ Stinks” was probably a bit harsh. I have a hard time with how easy Worthy is brought down. That being said, I’m a bit testy, because I want the Bills to beat the Ravens.

Chargers did look in control Chiefs defense looked slow and old against the Chargers Only one game though -
I've listened to a lot of coverage on this game. In the shop this morning I caught Carruci and dan lebetard on NFL radio. I've always always always appreciated their straight forward non-hot take perspectives. Which, when eating lunch just now I see nfl.com says that the game will be a shoot out, 10 TD's between he QB's. I guess I get the idea. Everyone is expecting fireworks. But, back to Carruci and Lebetard they seemed more balanced. I am, too. I don't see either team scoring the 35+. The Bills offense has the potential, and their defense has the unpotential to give it up. The Ravens offense has the ability to score but not the explosiveness of the Bills. Their defense can shut down and offense. If the winning score is something 31-20something I'd expect that about the highest. If both teams touch the mid 30's I will be amazed. I don't know the Ravens have the horses to play like that - I don't know enough about their depth. I know the Bills could score 40 if they fire off.

I know it's a late game, but shouldn't we be metriculating on a game day thread by about now.? -
They did a good job scheduling the event. The Bills are playing a Thursday Night game & Josh is free that weekend.

They've all ready lost a game to a division foe and have you seen the brutal schedule for them? -
Coach Tuesday started following Chargers-Chiefs tape - multiple slots?

Chargers-Chiefs tape - multiple slots?
Coach Tuesday replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
Splitting hairs maybe but I view Allen as a “big slot” type, Ladd as a “small slot.” Ladd and Shakir have a similar body type and play style whereas Allen is more like what Keon could (and maybe should) be as a “big slot” (cue the “your mom” jokes I know). Long way of saying I still think Ladd would be duplicative here given that we have Shakir. -
The Worthy Trade Keeps Looking Worse and Worse

KC losing was a nice way to spend a Friday night not gonna lie The idea that a lighter guy can take as much punishment as a larger guy is an extreme minority take. People upstream in this thread mentioned durability as a huge reason to pass on Worthy. Most rational people realize that Worthy's increased risk of injury factored into the FO's decision not to take him. And while, of course, wishing injury on anyone is a bad look, it does help support the decision made by the FO/Beane. -

Some of you are insufferable and the season hasn't even started yet. Saturday Night Live addressed you back in the 80s before some of you were even born: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WUL7q8eyig8 -
Just means more money is on the Ravens Cant say I disagree. Its a bad matchup before you add the questions marks at corner and safety

Justice Hill is extremely dangerous every time he touches the ball. (He also made a great play to keep Von Miller from scoring on that fumble recovery in the playoff game.) I’m surprised the Ravens don’t feature him more.

Not possible to be more wrong. You threw out a “some here” and I pointed out a single ambiguous post in this thread in over two months as the only possible basis for your claim. Very weak on your part. Don’t be a Roundy. Hilarious! 76yo beta senator from the top rope!! -

I don't think I've vomited that much since I threw up in the pool the night of my high school graduation -
My bad, I misread your line. Agree someone ran the route wrong. Has Worthy been a deep threat? He was increasingly towards the end of 2024. Early in the year, yea he was more of a gimmick guy. KC losing him is a significant blow if he misses any serious time.

If Stephen A. Smith explained in detail who his sources are (by category, not by name) and broke news about things that happened, then yes I would. If he was just spouting hot takes and loud unsourced opinions then yes I think it would be fair game to do the same back to him. I’m not going to get into this further (with you), I’ve said my view on it. -

Food for thought, an average rabbit can leap 10 to 15 feet at a time. X 10 you have a creature that can leap over 100 feet. I'm more thinking 1st contact. One thing despite being way out of the ordinary my late older brother and I did not feel was fear. -
Sports hernia? Out for the year? We were on a 2 week break before game 1 begins. 2 week break, brahs. And this happens. Might as well cut him. Fuhgittaboutit.

My issue isn’t that he takes shots without substance. My issue is pretty concisely laid out previously. Do you find it counterproductive when someone posts Stephen A Smith’s silly opinion on something, and someone says “I try not to listen to this guy, because he kinda sucks?” Just seems like an extremely strange and unique hill to die on. Maybe if I charged $5 to read my posts, we could shame everybody who ignores me to stop being “counterproductive.” -

I think what stood out to me in this one was it really wasn’t in stupid fashion…the chargers were just flat out better in pretty much every way. It wasn’t like unlucky turnovers or stupid mistakes, in fact I think the chiefs were pretty lucky just to be in that game. Chargers absolutely dominated and a couple blown coverages and a ridiculous fg resulting from a dumb clock management mistake made the final score closer than it actually looked Chiefs have only lost like two other turnover-free games in the entire mahomes era and the last time was vs the eventual afc champion bengals in 2021 who were significantly better than the 2025 chargers id never say they’re done by any means but I think the importance of that game is getting downplayed quite a bit just based on previous years results which doesn’t make a lot of sense to me.
