  1. Past hour
  2. He is a guy who should max out with 36% or defensive snaps. He's a big young dude
  3. I wish the NFL had an equivalent of baseball savant data. But it's in the best interest of the NFL for fans to not know how rapidly most players "track skills" decline. I doubt Curtis could crack 4.55 on the track at this point. His 10 yard split would probably be why. He makes that hanna barbera spinning feet sound effect when he's trying to accelerate from a stop.
  4. And another early exit, especially in a year like this, you definitely have to look at the GM. Imagine losing in the playoffs and seeing a couple teams like DEN and NE go further. Or Indy with Jones as QB. Honestly losing to any of these AFC teams is a clear indictment of Beane failing to get this team over the hump. Josh Allen with James Cook with a solid and OL returning all its starters. And you lose to any of these AFC teams. No way to spin it.
  5. He’s right Josh Allen is a generational talent, we probably won’t see a qb as good as him play in Buffalo the rest of our lifetimes…. To act like you don’t have a unique opportunity because you have Josh Allen is purely moronic
  6. I think he's one of those guys that doesn't necessarily look like he's digging but is somehow still covering a lot of ground when he opens it up, although he's probably slower than some other guys to hit that 5th gear.
  7. I dont think he is faster than Shaheed, but I think Simons point with Shavers is that he has speed to be used as a downfield guy and we don't even try, just like we are not really trying with Samuel or Moore (who as faster or faster), just like we didn't really try with MVS or Harty last year (also 2 guys as fast or faster who were productive deep weapons while in NO just like Shaheed, but not here)
  8. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn’t. Hard to know for sure in the moment. But making the situation about Allen and his legacy definitely sheds light on that poster’s priorities.
  9. I wanna see our generational QB in a Superbowl, preferably winning one, just one. It's crazy to me that Darnild of all people is given weapons in year one in Seattle, but Beane puts our entire season on Josh's shoulders year after year. It's been proven when it comes to the ganes that matter that Josh can't do it by himself. Time for a change in the FO!
  10. Seems like for beane and Sean, ***** most of the fanbase, that is perfectly fine it’s truly disgusting
  11. Absolutely Like I said I do believe in our defensive tackle rotation and its ability to grow but there could be guys available for a third fourth or a fifth .. or a combination Obviously years remaining on their contract and the cap hit means something but they could have got a pure run stuffer if they were looking
  12. Only partly sane — as in the event the FG were good, the complainers, whiners, and haters would have found something else to complain about, whine over, and hate on.
  13. What has Palmer showed that tells us he's the answer at boundary receiver? We literally let Davis go because we didn't think he was the guy, now we bring him back after a torn meniscus thinking he is? I just don't understand that thinking. Shaheed was got for a 4th and a 5th. We gave up a 3rd last year for a washed Amari Cooper who scored a TD in his first game then basically went comms dark other than a pitch back to Josh Allen in a blowout game in the snow. We basically have a WR room full of slot guys, our highest paid WR returning kicks, and a guy that does nothing but return kicks is a healthy scratch for multiple weeks now and is still occupying a roster spot for some reason. Shaheed gave you a true field-stretching WR and return guy. Simply doesn't make sense to me.
  14. And I have since 1960. And fans are not taken for granted. Quit thinking your opinion is the only thing that matters. Does anyone honestly believe Beane just sat around doing squat the last couple days? You have to have a partner to trade with. And you have to believe the deal you make avitally improves things. A guy like a Waddle would at WR, but does a Myers or Shaheed? One can argue no. I wanted Jeudy but apparently he wasn’t on the market. Would have loved another DT like Williams but the Jets apparent were not trading inside the division. So many think Beane can just snap his fingers and get whatever he wants. That is not how this works.
  15. What’s best for the team, was to do nothing? Interesting opinion smh
  16. I know you're trolling but it really is cool if you like talking but ya , there's no moderation unless you're completely off the rails , you'll get kicked out
  17. I'm just a fan on my couch; I'm not tuned into the all the DT rotations in the NFL and study them enough to know who's available for fair value. But I'd bet my house there were guys available out there that bad teams were willing to negotiate for in consideration for mid round picks.
  18. Is Shavers fast because he doesn’t really look it while running routes. Yeah he had one long TD last year but I don’t see the speed your talking about come gametime
  19. I understand what you are saying here but not all 31 teams are in the same place or have the same needs Buffalo is in their Super Bowl window, for some reason it appears Brandon and his front office think Josh will always be this version of Josh so they can “take their time” the clock has been ticking and the assumptions the staff makes are just mind blowing. The way Josh plays the game, you cannot expect he is gonna be this level into his mid 30’s. You need to start capitalizing now, not 5 years from now. Now, even if that means an overpayment or mortgage some of the future. I’m shocked Brandon can’t figure that out by now
  20. What did MVS do in Buffalo? Nothing, and few shots we took to a wide open MVS for what should be an easy score, Allen missed him by a mile (because he is not a good home run ball deep shot QB). So we cut MVS and he immediately goes to NO and does what Shaheed did for NO this year. What did Harty do in Buffalo last year? Nothing, yet in NO he was the Shaheed player for them before ending up here. Both of those guys were on the Bills last year too in this offense, and neither were used despite the same speed. Samuel is faster than Shaheed and Moore is at least as fast, might be faster with his 4.35 forty time (Samuel is 4.31). We have seen both use that speed deep on other teams before Bills. Neither is being used in Buffalo for deep speed. What do all 4 of those guys have in common? They are as fast or faster than Shaheed and have never been used much at all for their speed deep since being in Buffalo in the Brady designed offense. Shaheed was never going to be any different, never made any sense, and was redundant to what we already have and dont use.
  21. That's a pretty sh!tty comment for the situation.
  22. My wife asked me to bring tomatoes cos she was going to cook pasta for dinner. I came back and told her the organic roma tomatoes were $7/lb so I checked them out but didn't pick them up. "Okay but I didn't need the organic, vine ripened, roma tomatoes. I could make great pizza with the regular tomatoes because I am a great cook and can use decent tomatoes as long as they are not rotten or spoilt which is all I have . The regular ones were only $5/lb" But I said they were only worth $4.75/lb so I didn't buy them either and came away empty handed. Guess who is going to bed after eating only a small portion of pasta? I could call it food but it didn't have any taste and I went to bed unsatisfied.
  23. My guess is that patience is gonna start flaming out if we lose again in the second round and he plays well he has generational money now, he is a bonafide star, eventually he will want a Super Bowl caliber team around him rather than having to carry all the water for Sean and beane
  24. Typical LeBron fan response caring more about how a player is perceived than what’s best for the team.
  25. 100% I would have probably paid the price for Shaheed. With that being said, 31 NFL teams had the opportunity to pay that price and would have acquired him for that. Not one of them offered more than Seattle. I feel like we were desperate enough to do it but that tells you what the league thought of the value.
