Look.....we're a bit of a laughing stock right now with what Beane is doing, but Beane brought all of this on himself and he's scrambling to try and salvage this season. I give him credit for 1 thing.....he's taking swings at trying to improve even if it is the bottom of the roster. I mean, let's face it, we're hanging a lot of our hopes at safety on Jordan Poyer, someone who is on his last legs. They must not think Hancock is ready to take over that spot if needed, so finding more vet depth isn't a bad thing. Heck, call up Gilmore and see what shape he's in and bring him in for the run. Can never have too much depth in the secondary. All that said, we need teams to start releasing pass rushers for us to claim. The fact we are praising God that AJ Epenesa can play Sunday shows just how desperate we are. Saying this half joking, but can Von ask for his release? We are just nowhere when it come to being able to rush the passer.

NFL mandates new playing surfaces for all stadiums by 2028
BigDingus replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall
They should've gone a step further & required a uniform surface for ALL fields. This quote also annoyed me: "The league's chief medical officer, Dr. Allen Sills, said there are no "statistically significant differences" in lower extremity injuries or concussions that can be attributed to the type of playing surface or a specific surface, despite widespread preferences by players for grass fields and complaints about surfaces such as the one at MetLife Stadium, where the New York Giants and Jets play." Reminds me of your average workers, all experiencing the same issue on a daily basis, who then repeatedly notify upper management of that issue. Then management comes back & tells the people who know better, "We reviewed your claims & have found nothing wrong. Thanks for your valuable feedback while we do nothing to address your problems!" -
The Bills played a similar schedule other than 3 games.

What are Mike Love and Gerhard de Beer up to?

Beane on the phone with Montavious Maniac right now. Kidding aside, I like this move. Can play slot and safety and should have more tread on the tires than Slay, so maybe a good depth option next year after this evaluation period.

Well for one they’re playing the worst defense in the history of the nfl -
At this point, they're just looking at guys with cool last names. Slay? Savage? I mean the Browns used to have players named "Ben Gay" & "Fair Hooker," so guess we're just going a different, more intimidating route. Maybe we can trade them for Amari Thrash & convert him to DB?

With Kraft as the owner the refs might help

Played for Ryan Nielsen in Jacksonville. Nielsen hand picked him to be his safety so there is a connection here. He can ball, just been miscast over the last year or so.

Changing the grass multiple times during the season are they insane!! Grass doesn’t root that quickly. We have seen this before newly sodded fields looking like a salad bar after the buses came through them -
Extremely good polling for the GOP if they can get their messaging, policy and act together on the economy before the midterms. If they had any semblance of a plan on healthcare, they’d never lose.

Not surprising at all. Being anti-white is one of the core pillars of modern leftism.

Which means Joe Brady will do the opposite. -
Why did the FBI release degraded surveillance video from the DNC? Why did the bomb sniffing dogs miss the bomb in plain sight when Kamala was there? How come the Wray FBI lied about the cellular data being corrupted? Both bombs were planted in plain sight, sat overnight, and then BOTH bombs were miraculously discovered within 20 minutes of the joint session. How come after the bomb was discovered at the DNC the agents sat in their car for a few minutes and then allowed children to cross the street within feet of the bomb? That's just a few. Oh and who was the pipe bomber on the phone with as he was planting the bombs? Chapter one of a twenty chapter book...

Agreed...or how about maybe some DL or EDGE depth with Bosa probably out for weeks.

Sorry some kind of formula based on who was injured. Like Burrow is a huge points loser. Thanks yes I should have provided the reference. I voluntarily put myself on double secret probation 🤓😂 -

Not Somalian, but this is the view of way too many of these people coming here lately. They dgaf about our country. They view us as a place to make money and that’s it. How is a culture supposed to survive when we import people who want to tear away at the fabric of our society. -

The Bengals have perhaps the worst defense in the NFL, have a record of 4 wins, 8 losses, and have a rusty QB who is still hobbled behind a below average offensive line. The Bills, an 8 win team, have the best running game in the NFL a a defense that has played pretty darn well the last few weeks. It's obvious the Bills should be favored, especially at home.
