I was specifically countering the poster who was trying to make the case that the Steelers’ defense is some sort of measuring stick through the first four weeks of 2025. I didn’t really have much to say about the Patriots’ offense - though that poster was hyping them up for moving the ball against Pittsburgh, conveniently ignoring the five turnovers they threw when claiming they could move the ball at will against Buffalo. Let me get this right... the jury is still out on Buffalo because they played well against weak teams while missing multiple defensive starters, and at the same time, your argument is that the jury is still out on the Patriots’ defense just because they got a starter back after performing poorly against weak teams? Make it make sense.

After so many years of Pats dominance, I always hope that the Bills destroy them each and every time they play. Massholes can eat a big one.

More so they are just not a very relevant team 2021 was the last year they made the playoffs. Since Brady left they have missed the playoffs 4 out of the last 5 years. Their last 3 years win totals have been 8/4/4. They do look like they have a direction with Maye so I think longer term there's some developments there. But in the end the reason you don't know them is that it's been a fairly irrelevant franchise. I do recognize a few names on that list. Baremore was the last Billy B defensive guy I remember getting drafted and having an impact, Milton Williams was a big contract they signed from the Eagles and Campbell was the 4th overall pick. So I recognized a few names. I also know our old friend Diggs is on the Pats and Hunter Henry was a name that's been around the league awhile.

Sigh I said that in an earlier post, that you play who’s on your schedule and I said that about the Steelers to make the point what Maye did the last 3 games was impressive had nothing do with saying your schedule has been weak (which both teams schedules have been). YOU'RE the one got butt hurt from me stating something make a point about my QB performance being impressive and had nothing to do with the Bills wins. as for the Ravens say whatever you want their D right now is ranked dead last in scoring they stink at this point on D. Thats a simple fact. I see Bills nation has gained more trolls by being good.. Very very possible!! But it should be a fun season for us hopefully see the Bills in like the AFCCG game lmao (I kid before some troll calls me delusional) but be fun get a 3rd match in the playoffs

I partake as often as possible in the game day thread.. The heat of the moment can overrule common sense and venting happens. sometimes I think low level trolling happens. It is what it is. The overreactions are predictable and tired but I get it. It's the internet.People can say or feel any sorta way behind a keyboard I'm grateful for NFL . I Love the NFL. and my home town team is the Buffalo Bills. Our fan base is legend Im embracing ALL of it. . I want NFL glory though. I feel lucky to be able to be living it when many friends and family can only watch the #17 era from heaven.

You're reversing the script people used on new England when the patriots would face soft competition. "We just play the schedule we have." It's week 4. The ravens have more talent than the Patriots. The Dolphins pushed the Patriots hard than they did the bills. God patriots fans are stupid clowns.

It’s MIKE Shanahan’s offense. Both Kyle Shanahan and Sean McVay are part of his tree and run their own versions of his offense. Many others do as well. It’s not some exclusive club where these two are the only members. NFL coaches know what their schemes are about and some do well defending them. They do have a healthy rivalry and beating the other does seem personal. I highly recommend Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic’s podcast series on them and the other “piss boys” (aka Mike Shanahan disciples of their time). It’s called “The Playcallers” and is free.

This play is a good example of our play calling issues on 3rd down. It technically counts as a 3rd down stop but only because Olave dropped the ball: This is exactly the kind of call that I hate. We bring an exotic blitz on 3rd down which I'm happy with. But Benford has no chance on this play. He's in off coverage and is back pedaling even before the ball is snapped. He's still back pedaling as Rattler gets into his throwing motion. Just way too easy against a route runner like Olave. I mean what is even the intent of this play design? The off coverage look invites Rattler to throw to his #1 target, so why even bother sending extra pressure when you know he'll get the ball out quick? If it were Spags he'd send the same pressure but Olave would be bracketed inside and out, which would give Taron the extra couple seconds he needs to get to the QB. This is just an utterly garbage play call that we got lucky on, and we've seen it on tape over and over again since last year.

Yeah, if you look at the Bills regular season performance over the past few years, you'd expect that the team would have gone to at least one Super Bowl. Whether it's luck, coaching, injuries, or something less... it's maddening. But as someone who's lived through 2-win seasons, I'm enjoying the ride.

The Dolphins Maye had like 1:45 left with I think 3 time outs.. I think they still win that won.. The dolphins D is hot garbage. I don’t expect a win, I will cheer for it, but don’t expect one. What’s funny I just looked at the remaining Pats schedule.. and with Buttows out I can see them finishing with 11 wins even dropping both games to. Buffalo and losing to the Ravens.. scary how winnable all the AFC games have gotten this year.. What do facts hurt your feelings? You call me names when all I did was state facts, what’s sad is I have already said I expect the Bills to win but for some reason a few of you Bills fans get you undies twisted when it’s pointed out simple truths to you. I mean do you have a valid argument or better discussion or are you just going call me names because you have nothing of value to add?

Another reason getting the 1 seed is so important. Aside from injuries and lack of home field, having to play the extra game is that one additional chance of getting knocked out of the playoffs early if your team has an off-day or the opponent is on fire.

Donald Trump is heavily weighing giving Sean “Diddy” Combs a full presidential pardon ahead of the convicted Bad Boy Records founder’s sentencing later this year. Nearly two months after Trump publicly entertained the notion of a Diddy pardon in an Oval Office gaggle, a comprehensive get out of jail card for Combs is being “seriously considered,” an administration source tells Deadline. Additionally, as several associates of the much-accused and currently incarcerated “All About the Benjamins” performer have been pitching the White House, other insiders confirm the topic has leveled up from “just another Trump weave to an actionable event” since Combs was found partially guilty in the his New York City sex-trafficking trial earlier this month. Of course, as a number of parties attest, this being the roller coaster of Trumpworld, any decision on a Combs pardon is in flux until POTUS actually puts his signature on paper.

TBH, I just don't really understand why Purdy doesn't get more credit and respect as a QB right now. I have watched every game Brock has played given my wife is a die hard Niners fan. The only exceptions were the few times Niners and Bills were on at the same time where both games were on, but I was only really paying attention to the Bills lol. What I will say is that Brock Purdy has been better than people give him credit for. I am not saying what he will or wont be moving forward, but the touch and precision he has had since he got the job has been impressive. The Niners offense was night and day different the second he took over for Jimmy G. Brock, and the Niners, have been hit hard by injuries every season in the Purdy era. He has still played at a very high level even through the difficulties of constant injuries to all the teams best players on both sides of the ball. I don't know if Purdy has the staying power or not, I am only talking about how he has been thus far. And IMHO, he has been better than he often gets credit for and he throws a pretty ball.
