Yeah, whatever happened to the Flinstones’ chant Let’s Go BUF-A-LO? That used to get me ready to slam my 12th beer before kickoff.

Good Night / Bad Night - Pre-season game 1
MasterStrategist replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Biggest issue with 3rd down defense- was 1st down defense. We got behind the sticks and alot were 3rd and short conversions. No scheming, we basically gave 4-5 underneath routes in early downs that play into the Russ Wilson and rookie Dart very easy reads. Im not concerned yet, would like to see us play more man. But was encouraged to see our man defense at times. Also RB screen game is almost automatic to be successful against zone in preseason, against 3s and 4s. I expect to see us be more man next week in Chicago- we are truly testing/evaluation right now. -
WRs converted to S / CB? 🤔

OH, I’ve been WAITING for this question because I have a good answer. Mike Furrey had a bizarre 2 years for the Detroit Lions where he played WR/FS. In 2005 he had 4 picks (1TD return) 3 FR, and 58 tackles. Then in 2006 completely changes positions and puts up 1086 6 TDs receiving after not recording a single catch the prior season. On top of that, Furrey was also a solid KR/PR and Gunner. Guy covered 5 different positions. Talk about versatility. McDermott would cream his pants and clap thunderously. I mean the JAGS #2 pick was Travis Hunter and he can play both positions at an elite level. Didn’t Edelman play a bit of slot corner ? Troy Brown is another WR/DB. Prime time Sanders played some WR as well. A lot of teams will put their best receivers in the red zone on Hail Marys. Remember when Gronk took that terrible angle and lost to Fitz & the Dolphins? That’s why it’s not a common tactic. -
So it should be clear we won’t get there rushing 4

Hamlin is engraved in Bills history. Cutting him, releasing him, how'd that go over?

Yeah, and it needs to happen kinda organically. The Mr. Brightside deal now feels pretty forced and a little lame, if I'm being honest.

Camp question: Who is this year’s Buffalo Joe?
skibum replied to GASabresIUFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I didn't see the game yesterday, but unfortunately he was featured often in the Giants' offensive highlights. A couple of times he opted not to drop into coverage and left a guy wide open on the outside for a big play. He also gave up a catch for a 2 pt conversion, though he was close on that one. -
Switch conferences and I think we'd have made at least two Super Bowls already. Have the Bills switch conferences in the early 90's and we're not making four straight Super Bowls. Sometimes it's just a matter of luck and we're unlucky to be in the same conference as three likely to be HOF QB's all in their prime.

If Ciarlo can do something similar like this against the Bears, then he's headed for the practice squad. Looks like a good special teamer as well. -
Does anyone remember Dwight “Ike” Harrison from Lou Saban’s second go-round? I believe he started out as a WR and ended up a pretty solid CB on some good Bills’ teams in the mid-70’s.

Here's AiI's explanation: Factors Contributing to the Decrease in COVID-19 Death Rate in 2022 Vaccination and Immunity Widespread vaccination efforts increased immunity in the population. Vaccines became more effective at preventing severe illness and death. Improved Treatments Advances in treatment protocols for COVID-19 helped reduce mortality rates. Healthcare providers gained better understanding and management of the disease. Public Health Measures Continued implementation of public health measures, such as mask-wearing and social distancing, contributed to lower transmission rates. Increased awareness and adherence to preventive measures among the public. Demographic Changes The age-adjusted death rate showed significant declines, particularly among younger populations. Most deaths continued to occur in older adults, but the overall impact on mortality rates was lessened due to increased protection in vulnerable groups. Statistical Trends COVID-19 was the underlying cause in approximately 244,000 deaths in the U.S. in 2022, a significant drop from previous years. The age-adjusted death rate declined by 47% compared to 2021, indicating a substantial improvement in outcomes.

I imagine 4th&schlong as being an angry obese 60+ moron. Should he have taken the vaccine? 100% Finding also. Pushing 60. Pasty, pear shaped and flabby. Should he have taken the vaccine? Absolutely. Should either of them been compelled to take it by their government, employer or any other entity? Absolutely not. Should anyone under around 35 without any existing health conditions have taken the vaccine? In almost every case, no.

t the height of the pandemic, there was a 10 fold decrease in the death rate for all vaxxed Americans. There was still multiple factor decrease in deaths for al age groups. It was prevalent infection unlike say, tetanus ewhich we also vax against because tetanus also kills people but at a much lower rate. Herd immunity is still a proven infectious disease core principle. The fact that you are most concerned with your age group and younger confirms my suspicions of your selfishness on this issue. Do you have living parents or grandparents? Do you care about them? The death rate went down for everyone in 2022, very likely due to the vaccine and resistance to the virus from it. The untaxed continued to have death rates much higher than the vaxxed even after 2022 and the same continues today. Explain your reasoning and conclusion here: I appreciate you though showing me the crashing number for those unvaccinated showing that for most people it was not what saved them.

Nothing he said was wrong but I can see how we'd run him out of town if he was ours.

Yeah, Wilson was a decent safety — a rangy cover guy who could also lower the boom. I remember him baiting Tom Brady into throwing a pick at the Bills’ goal line in that glorious 2011 home win over the Pats. -

I believe that within the next 2-3 years, Carter will be the best pass rusher in the NFL. Cleveland had a great opportunity to put together an alltime dline, and passed on the chance. The Browns being the Browns. -
