I think this is overly simplistic, and it’s unfair to everyone. A football team is more than a QB. Yes, it is the most important position in sports, but a team is more than that. McD started to build a culture before Josh arrived. You need a good QB to run deep into the playoffs, but it takes more than a QB to build a culture. I think giving all the credit for the Bills success to Josh (and all the blame to McD and Beane) is shortsighted and lazy.
