These Monday and Thursday night games suck.

mcClappy is a well respected man. however, a couple Tyrod Taylor wins aren’t enough.

I think this year is the year of keeping the games close in the NFL, TV ratings are skyrocketing with close games. Making the networks and content providers happy. We all know that holding can be called on any play, it's the most effective penalty to either stop drive or to keep one going.

Love to see denver lose but I think they win by 20. They seem like a team that is going to get better every week with that defense.

I am so glad other people are coming around on Rapp. He's a huge liability out there and has been for a long while. With people not hyper focused on Hamlin's play, Rapp is being exposed. We definitely need an upgrade there. Unfortunately, I don't see them moving on in season for reasons that have been discussed a lot on this board. (Would lead to communication issues in the secondary, McDermott runs a complex defense to pick up, ECT..) WR, I agree we need something there. But I fear giving Joe Brady a down field threat would like giving a baby a PS5. Great and flashy but may collect dust because the owner doesn't know how to use it. I like Shaheed and have for a while. Another name for them to consider may be Mecole Hardman. He's a FA, so wouldn't cost picks. And while he certainly isn't magnificent, he does have some big game experience and can get a jersey on game days as a returner and situational deep threat. Should also be a very low dollar contract.

Consider how all of us will feel if the Bills lose for a FIFTH time against KC in the playoffs. Will the McDermott apologists continue making excuses for him? It was injuries, it was the refs, it was the cheerleaders. When will it dawn on people that he is a brake on this team, and may have cost them one or more Super Bowls? Six losses? Seven? The entire Allen era? Even if they go all the way, it doesn't necessarily mean McDermott didn't hold them back all these years, and that he will continue holding them back if he's retained. The difference between the Chiefs and the Bills does not equate to 4-0 or even 4-1.

Don't buy a house up on the hills east of Lake Erie ... or buy a really big snowblower. If you're a few miles from the lake, and you can look west out of a window or off a deck/porch and can see the lake, you are probably on the Ridge. The Chautauqua Ridge is the shore of the much larger old glacial lake that once covered much of WNY. It's like the Niagara Escarpment in Niagara County. Take a drive on Rte 394 from Barcelona towards Mayville or Rte 39 from Dunkirk/Silver Creek towards Gowanda, and you will recognize when you leave the lake plain and go up the Ridge. There's a great spot to see how sharply the ridge rises above the lake plain at Luenesman (sp) Overlook Park outside of Dewittville, which is just northeast of Mayville on Rte 430. It's a great view in the fall.

From the title of this thread, it sounds like food is back on the table so to speak as a discussion topic. Thanks for asking. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving in our still great country. After the wife monopolized the protein cooking for the past 5 Thanksgiving and leaving the sides to my under-utilized culinary talents, it is MY turn this year. I have made turkey in well over 25+ different ways in my life. Boring. We switched to capons 5+ years ago for Thanksgiving and Christmas. The problem is the ladies of this household will eat it at Thanksgiving however the island princesses are too good to eat leftovers and I have capon to eat alone for the next week. NOT this year. NOT this year. STOP me if this reminds you of the Ravens Home Opener this year... I have 3 Cornish Hens brining in the fridge since Tuesday. I am going to put them on the rotisserie I created for the Big Green Egg after stuffing them with a stuffing of Wild Rice and other ingredients (you ain't ready for that reveal). They sure do look a lot like Falcons. Just sayin'. They are mean MF'ers...
