  1. Past hour
  2. Clowney's big hit was certainly an "aurora" making play for him. I think that while he wasn't a "bust" (he's had a 10+ year career and 60 career sacks thus far) he didn't live up to his number one pick status. I think what really hurt his career was the microfracture surgery he had at the end of his rookie year which was on top of a torn meniscus which took him out of the season earlier. He never was the same player, he was still a good player hard hitting edge setter with some power pass rush but never showed the blend of speed and power that he once had. Shows you how good of an athlete he was given how long he played and how fairly effective as a starter he was for many teams.
  3. He certainly wouldn’t be our worst pass catcher.
  4. Why do you want RFK to do something about that? So you can B word and moan about what a facist RFK because he is actually doing something to helping Americans. All you do is B word and moan. You’re part of the problem, definitely not part of the solution.
  5. Best pair of DEs and CBs in the league
  6. Pretty funny... I think the fact that Allen got it all back together and accounted for 6 scores in spite of the 2 INTs actually makes it more impressive
  7. I've been on the box for them to include him in the play calling a lot more especially in the red zone but for what ever reason Brady & Josh haven't looked his way much but he just keeps grinding and has a game like last week saying HEY I'm HERE !! And makes plays ! He has become a favorite of mine & I hope that they continue to use him more, & I hope they look toward Knox even more because that guy too is always there in some capacity ready to make a play when needed !! Brady just needs to use all the weapons he has available .
  8. Would you trade Coleman (our first round pick, though we dropped into second) and Carter (3rd) for Waddle? In a heartbeat. And yet we recently wouldn't pull the trigger on a first and third.
  9. Imagine an “off” day like this with just one actual NFL caliber WR.
  10. I’m not old enough to remember the intricacies of those years but I do know we had a guy like Bruce Smith on those teams. Cornelius Bennett etc. Josh has never had that guy. Feels like the equivalent would be if we traded for Myles Garrett? James Cook, of course, has a role on this team. But when you can’t stop the run, and then on offense you want to establish the run.. you play a game on offense that forces your defense to stop the run all game. Clock bleeds, possessions limited and Josh/passing game never gets in a rhythm. With this defense, the best way to help them, is to tell Josh to get to 40.
  11. Dead giveaway on what? Using past comments and behavior to justify why a person acts a certain way? If you make ridiculous comments in your introductory presser and don’t back it up on the field, it is going to be brought up.
  12. I'm not sure where his ceiling is but just about every time there is a stop on the D he is in on it this guy is fast becoming a great player for the Bills D and I love it because it shows all the nay sayers here that once again Beane has another draft pick that will be good for the team ! And now if Hancock can be another player that develops in this D it should be good for a minute !
  13. Lets talk what? lol
  14. Bro, I come here and kill time and have a few laughs at my desk job. If I want to think trans people are a danger to kids, why do you seem to care so much?
  15. i had a 19 year old cat named beebe after don, and a 14 year old lab we named ben after cornelius bennett. both passed within months of each other this year. we had an awesome run.
  16. Any thought on Beanes strict policy of not taking talented receivers no matter the upside? I’d trade half the picks in 24 for any of the WRs that went in the first round. Don’t get me wrong, I got a hardy harr out of keons jacket comments but would’ve loved to got some kind of production too
  17. I had to do because I read how much better KC's GM Veach is better than Beane but yeah this is an example where maybe he isn't and maybe draft position does factor in quality of players you end up getting.
  18. This Draft Class will likely be defined by SVPG and Grable. If those two take over for McGovern and Edwards, should they leave this offseason, and Kromer has them ready to go and play at a high level … that, along with Cole Bishop becoming a stud Safety, could save the class. If they stay depth, that has a role, but would certainly lend itself to this draft class being a complete miss as a whole. Keon Coleman and Dewayne Carter are unbelievably frustrating because the fanbase universally hated these picks and the fanbase looks to have been correct. You just can’t completely whiff on 2 out of 3 of your premium picks and not have it create downstream effects on your roster in the coming years. Elam was offset by Benford. Theres no Benford in this class. Therefore we see the musical chairs at WR, maybe, finally, solidifying in Week 12.
  19. Wrong. Miami never went to the next level because Shula refused to call defensive time outs.
  20. Thank you! It’s easy for “our fans” to pick apart our drafts, but it’s clear that we are not the only team who doesn’t hit on every pick. EVERY team has hits and misses. I wish people would stop acting like we are the only team who doesn’t draft a Pro Bowl player in every round.
  21. Not sure if it has been posted...
  22. Mitch Trubisky can always come in and help out on bad days
