Week 9, Chefs v. Bills, PREDICT THE SCORE!
dayman replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
They’re playing good. We aren’t. Defense has one week of reform with some new guys against Panthers which causes some optimism for later but not enough for more, especially with Oliver out. Offense is hot garbage in the passing game and against the blitz. We can’t score enough or stop them and lost control of the game script. kc - 38 bills - 24 -
The long ball to Gabe Davis in the playoffs against the Chiefs, the long ball to Robert Foster against the Jags, and the other long ball to Davis against the Steelers were things of beauty. Perfect downfield shots, like extended handoffs. I get that downfield passes are low percentage in general, but I do wonder why someone with an arm as strong as Josh’s couldn’t be more accurate. Remember last year when Kincaid was wide open and got injured going after a badly thrown pass? The pass to Josh Palmer against the Falcons to start the game would’ve been an easy TD too if thrown better, but we were all just so happy it managed to get there. I wonder if Allen works on this particular pass in the offseason. At least Mahomes kinda sucks with it too.

You'd think that this would be corrected by the coaches. Isn't that what WR coaches are for?

https://thehill.com/policy/healthcare/5579055-window-shopping-2026-affordable-care-act-plans/ the shite is going to hit the fan when people see their premiums increase massively. was talking to a friend who happens to be an insurance agent we used for years for business. He said that Medicare for all is going to happen. I couldn’t really follow his reasoning but he looked gray and he’s very bright.

Can't see the Chiefs being stopped right now. Hope its different if we get to a playoff game (wherever that location be), but just don't see us running with them now that they've gotten their receivers all back. Chefs--38 Bills--21 -
Lol, the guy that sits in front of me claimed to get $1900 per seat for this weekend before the year started.

Saints also looking at over $100M in dead cap in 2026 too. -
How the holy hell the 49ers seem to be a Super Bowl contender ever other year or even still looking dangerous dealing with their QB situation, injuries, dead money, terrible trades and drafts has to be one of the greatest magic tricks ever

Where I live, 90% or more of people who watch football think Maye is much better than Allen. The Perfect game is long gone from their memories.

Whilst I do see it as a stretch he is certainly on his way to easily being one of the top 10 if not 5 guys come the end of the year. The difference there is they actually have a defense and a coaching staff putting the offense in the best positions to win a game. Not to go off the topic of this thread as there is one that appertains to Brady but I do feel he’s not the best. For all the talk of this regime and years prior riding the coattails of Josh and a certain amount of personnel issues in the receiving department, that’s exactly what Joe Brady has done. I think a better OC makes things more efficient in the passing game. New England’s receivers aren’t that much better than the group of guys we have. We face man around 40% of the time. The majority is still zone. You can scheme guys open against both but find more success doing so against zone. Still, given it’s a 3 to 2 ratio the results should be better.
