We get them with fresh injuries and we are routing them

I've been in the upper deck of the Eagles stadium, that is pretty steep, like if you lose your footing going down, you could tumble quite a bit.

Before Allen was paid they were up against the cap. I’m in agreement they should spend and Pegula is awesome for opening his wallet. I’m just saying Beane complained about the cap situation and then spent like a madman. The Star contract comes to mind. That being said… I think Beane is a great GM and I’ve always been a fan of his.

Taylor Dayne and Cheap Trick at the New York State Fair today. Taylor Dayne can still sing and fit into outfits that most 63-year-olds would not wear. Did about 10 songs and seems to stick with the setlist found online. But interesting was that several times she would leave the stage for a good 3-4 minutes, then come back on, not for any wardrobe changes. And even the last song, she left before it was over, letting her band finish. Not sure if it's something health related, or her normal routine. Cheap Trick went with their not so well-known stuff unless you're a big fan for the first half of their set. Which prompted the three guys by me to keep making comments like "oh, here's another one no one knows." Then why are you guys here watching, because you weren't listening with all the rude comments you're making, plus, from the looks of you, you're just as old as the band themselves. They did get to their popular stuff towards the end. Large crowd, I would not be surprised if it is announced at 15,000 or more.

I mean, the things you're talking about contributed to a couple seasons, in a dynasty. If your logic is to look at something like the tuck rule and say, SEE! It's luck the Patriots had a dynasty. That just doesn't seem to be rational. Even further off the boat is playing the hypothetical game with what Vinatieri and Norwood. Norwood missed because he usually missed that kick on grass from that distance. As we watched later, Vinatieri ended up being the most clutch kicker in NFL history. What happened in those situations is the better player executed. That simple.

And the margin of error is too small to go on the road and make that up.. and we're still only losing barely... If we get the Chiefs without their starting corner, starting middle linebacker, and a safety we will trounce them

This is regular season Lamar and a fresh Henry against a DL that has next to no gel time and nothing sure at DT again, plus arguably the worst S group in the NFL, it’s going to be REAL HARD to keep it close, unless playoff Lamar shows up.

So if we beat their offer with one of those, it's very likely they than just offer #42 unconditionally. Then the only way to beat it is to give #30. Which is absolutely INSANE to offer for a half year rental on a 31 year old WR. On top of that, it's been said he wanted to go to the Jets and play with Rodgers again. You say that he doesn't have much say in the matter. He absolutely did. Trading for hom would have required us to rework his contract. And he had the ability to say no to that to whichever team wanted to trade him. So it very well may have been reunite with Rodgers or nothing: I don't know why you "keep coming back to" this idea. Cooper was an option. Adams wasn't once the Jets became involved and it was known that's where he wanted to go.

The dome of the Basilica will standout even more soon, they’re replacing the original with copper. They also did a revamping of the basement and now have a small, but thorough, historical museum honoring Father Baker. Between the Basilica and very nearby and updated Botanical Gardens, it’s a nice afternoon jaunt for locals to take in.

The NFL is in a weird spot. They just don't really practice anymore. I get it, these guys are bigger, faster, stronger. They're getting hit by a mid sized sedan like 8 times per week for 17 weeks (if they're lucky) Unsure if I am getting older or if this is a new phenomenon, but the less there is team practice the more there seems to be more soft tissue injuries. And on top of that, with nobody practicing, and nobody playing preseason, it seems common place to just sort of accept that a bunch of teams are clunky for 2-4 weeks to start the year. If I am the NFL I would put almost any bargaining chip on the table to get these guys back in the facilities full time starting in May. No pads until August, all film, weights, drills, routes vs air, sleds, etc. Honestly, drop TNF, add a bye, increase the NFLPA revenue share, but get these guys back in house 30 hours per week (or whatever) earlier so they're working at NFL speeds against a host of NFL players more often.
